Fallen Angel I am an angel,
Fallen from the sky,
Though my wings are clipped,
So i may not fly.
"Be calm my child",
She said without fear,
"Just sit still,
And something may appear."
She is a demon,
Wings clipped like mine,
Though humans do not understand,
That we are both devine.

I love writing poetry.
But it always ends up wierd or depressing but thats fine with me,cause I love writing poetry no madder what.

I love writing poetry. I agree, it is a way for one to express themselves. That is why I love poetry so much!

Poetry is a language
Known throughout the world.
It gives an understandment
Of the problems present,
The way things are,
And what they used to be.
Poetry to me,
Is a life-long task,
To get people to grasp,
Reality.

I do write poetry(as well as prose), but I rarely keep any of my poems because I'm a terrible writer. I only have one poem that I've written saved, and I guess if anyone wants to see it you can PM me about it, I haven't put it in my journal because that'd be wasted space... >_<

I love poetry! I work in the writing center of my university as a writing tutor and in the fall take a chair as a member of Poetry Staff for our literary magazine that campus publishes every year. I have'nt written anything in a while though since my last few poems were published. I really should start working on that again.

poetry is a beautful thing. it can also say a lot about you as well. i love poems no matter what style...

i write poetry. a lot, actually. mine are usually a bit comical. like this one:
The Night Before Intrams:
The night before intrams, and I studied throughout.
Some baby crawled through my window and started to pout.
So to it I tended,
But its toys were bended,
So I went to the store
To buy her some more.
The clerk said to me
Most arrogantly,
"We have the best toys money can buy.
And guy,
You sure need 'em!"
I started to leave, then
I noticed it was morning,
And for some more time to study I was imploring
Just gimme some more time!

I used to write a lot of poetry, but that kinda faded out over the last few years. I've taken up writing a variety of short stories and am now currently working on a novel that I hope to finish some time in my lifetime heheh.
I've written a couple poems for that though so as to help flesh out the world and make it seem more realistic.

I do like poetry a lot as it can express one's inner thoughts. I did a couple in my profile and it seems to lean on depressing or mysterious side. But I love it nevertheless. : P

I LOVE poetry...GOD I love so many things..LOL...Snce I have just been rejected...*sigh* Most of the time I write songs about hate and love and etc...Poetry is a great way for me to express myself... heart
