And, sadly, my local metal scene isnt very great. Now, the place that i just moved from had some awsome bands....

I listen to all types of music, including metal. Mostly I listen to alternative, progressive, trance, and broadway.

metal is the best along with rock and all music really with a good guitar or mass drums

Killswitch Engage, Slipknot (long as I dont have to see those creepy masks they wear), Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie.. I'm picky about my metal because the screaming in some songs gets on my nerves if there's a lot of it. If I wanted to listen to screaming I wouldnt have to put on headphones.
I like a bunch of assorted metal songs from different bands I dont know the names of.

I love Heavy, Thrash, and Death Metal. However, since you people are so undereducated about your knowledge of Metal, the only suggestion from me is that you should visit the Metal forum and read the sticky threads at the top of the forum page. Though I definitely do know my kind of Metal music and that I have been a former regular of the Metal forum, I don't even want to bother correcting you people in order to avoid stirring up a silly argument.

I like metal. The thing is, I'm not too knowledgable on what is and what isn't metal. So if any of these aren't truly metal, sorry!
