Heh. My brothers introduced me to Magic. aaaah, it was great, they taught me how to play adn then i kicked their arses! Haven't played it in aaaaaaages tho. My fav deck was a Slyvern deck which i would 'borrow' of one of my bro's friends. It was fun.

I got into magic in elementary school, never got out of it. Although there was a period of a few years where I stopped buying cards and focused on girls...But I originally went my own ways. I now own a tri-color deck (Red, Green, Black - Thanks zTooLz). I scored a lucky shot and got a platinum angel in one of my booster packs, now I swear by that card.
Also there's a program out there that allows you to play MTG over ther computer, it's called 'Apprentice'. That's what me and my friend used to use. So do a google search for it if you guys are interested.
One last note, YuGiOh and Pokemon suck, both copycats! razz Besides nothing can top MTG's awesome evilness.

I love Magic: The Gathering. It's the first, and most original card game, unlike that stupid Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon wanna be crap! Magic rules them all, and they suffer under the gaze of the mighty, god-like creatures that Magic spews forth from the depths of its card-like aclove! Mwhahahahaha!

bozie Im currently working on a lockdown deck that just basically stops everything if you're into using old cards, here are a few you can center the deck on: stasis kismet birds of paradise instill energy heck, one could probably manage both lockdown and library debilitation with millstones and whatnot.

I like Magic, but there are no vintage tournaments anywhere and my friends always insist on playing standard. I dont own any standard cards, let alone have a semi-decent deck to play.

I used to play MTG back when I was 10, I can honestly say that i'm 21, and that game; I've seen the evolution of it. Now I just use 5 decks that I never dismantle or change one bit.
White/Green: WakeBreaker Built c2002-2003 Combo of choice: Wake/Hurricane (answer to the Exalted Angels) Wild Mongrel discard Life Burst, or various Flashback Combos
White/Red: Cycle c2003-2004 Combos: Cycling to Lighting Rift, or landcycling
Black/Blue: Control; Originally built in 2000, but final revisions done in c2004 Combo: originally Ophidians but ShadowMage infiltrators substituted them Draw/Discards to Zombify Avatar of Woe Yawgmoths Will cool Counter Spells then Mind Relapse + Isochron Scepter replaced them
Green/Red: Creature Burn c2005 originally built as an inspiration during Planeshift era c2002. Combos: All beasts you can imagine to sack to Ravenous Baloth; Spiritmongers, Blastoderms, etc. Along with some Mana Accelerators, and Burn Spells to keep an agressive burn. BOP, Seal of Fire, Fireball
Artifact: Arcbound Ravager, currently retired because that deck is illegal in all touriment play.
