I've been there, but I was very small, and I don't remember much. I think it was burning hot. I don't like the sun, so I guess I'd like Alaska better... redface

I've been to several islands in Hawaii, and Kawaii was by far my favorite. It's not very touristy. I loved it!

I'm blessed to be living in Hawaii. I like it much better than I did before moving here. You learn to find the places you appreciate and value some of the quirks. All the islands are unique, so I don't like to compare them. The environment is beautiful and the cultures are endlessly complex. Can't say much good about the food though. Probably the strangest thing is the Hawaiians absolute obsession with Las Vegas. You'd think it was the holy land. Oh well... still learning.

I just got back! I went to O'ahu, and it was incredible. One day there was 25' surf on the North Shore. One of the top 5 most incredible things I've ever seen.

I also had the pleasure of living on O'ahu. I'm always kind of surprised when people think it's always sunny there. I remember it raining, and I loved the rain. If it weren't for the rain, I doubt that the islands would be as beautiful as they are. My mother's best advice about being there: don't look people in the eyes while driving. Don't know if that still applies. I miss it there.

I have been to four islands of Hawaii. They were Kawaii, The Big Island, Maui, and Honolulu.
One downside I will have to say about Hawaii was that I thought it awfully commercial. Then again, I was on a tour. I know that the main economy of Hawaii is tourism, so I can see why there was so much commercialism.
I would also like to point out the very best thing about Hawaii was scuba diving in it's waters. We went on a katamaran, and they were offering crash course scuba lessons. We only went down 35 feet, but it was one of the very best things I have ever done in my life. I have never felt more at peace than when I was under the water swimming and never needing to go up for air. It is so quiet, and everything is beautiful. I wanted never to come out of the water.
I would recommend scuba diving to EVERYONE! IEditYourWorld

I'd love to go there, it looks gorgeous... also I like Lilo and Stitch. The original, not the craptastic sequels...
