AFI = EMO.
I wouldn't trust a group that sings about teenager's angst while pushing aside the hair that covers their left eyes.

I heart AFI. I didn't know about them until my girlfriend made me listen to Sing the Sorrow. I didn't like it on my first listen, but I enjoyed it the second time. I prefer Art of Drowning to Sing the Sorrow, though.
I am absolutely crazy about Decemberunderground. 'Love Like Winter' may be my favorite song ever written.

I'd have to say i like all their albums I've listened to so far, although my favs are Summer shudder, 37mm , rolling balls, and cereal wars...
no davey... you don't look like a f-ing squirrel to me. xd

I like the live version better for some reason though.
I like The Leaving Song 1 & 2, and Miseria Cantare alot too.
They're a good band.

my best friend says..."God he's sexy!!! and whom ever makes fun of his devil's lock dies a most horrible and painful death. him and Jade are frickin' sexy together and they are soo cute and after that shallow response...they have beautiful lyrics, i have so many favorite songs because each of them mean something different that mean a lot to me so anyone who doesnt like AFI can kiss my a** thank you very much"
now i say....okay davey is just too hot for words...he's not emo he just has a deeper and more meaningful thing to say than most bands...he has great way of looking out on life and puts it into a wonderful perspective for the people of the world to listen to...his lyrics are so wonderfully structured...they are beautiful and amazing....they can really help you through tough times and can make you happy when you are feeling down or have the opposite effect on you...heh heh....anyways...my favorite song off of the new album is "The Killing Lights" i love it when davey says, "am i beautiful? / am i usable?" and i also like siver and cold...the prayer position...and the day of the phoenix....hee hee...anyways...AFI is a really great band that has gone through a lot of change over the years...

AFI is definitely one of my favorite bands. Two songs that come to mind right now are The Leaving Song and 337.

HellMistress_Frizzy I hate when a band suddenly goes mainstream, then everyone claims to love them, yet they only know of the latest album/single stressed Hm. ^^ That would be me. But I've loved every song I've heard and I've like Silver and Cold since... I don't know when. O.O Just found out recently what it's called and who it's by. rofl
