Homecoming Name: Gesture If not an Elven name, why did it change?: She changed her name from Willow Dark. She felt that it did not suit her. Desired Rank: Hunter Personality: Gesture is very peculiar and tricky, she is efinitely a wolf who knows how to track down the shiny and to slight-of-paw it to be her own. Gesture's nickname with her adoptive father Snow was "Magpie" but it didn't stick to her as a name either. Gesture is very good at being stealthy and she is happy to sneak about. Her devil may care personality hides a lot of anxiety and fear, and due to this she isn't very good at combat. However, because of her past slander she is very good up against gossip. She really could care less.
She is very good at learning, and she learns quick. However if she didn't like how something was done at first she'll change it to suit herself. Perhaps this is her only way she is able to be her own self. She doesn't like to be a wolf who works with traditions. She herself broke a tradition. History: Gesture was born to a singular litter to her parents who were the Chroniclers: Bluebell and Willow Bark. She had many older siblings, but all were much like their parents; Bluebell being light blue in tones and Willow Bark being mostly a soft brown. When she came out black the rumour going around was Bluebell had been with a Troll as she was born at the beginning of the Troll's oppression.
Willow Bark did not believe the rumour and fought in the name of his long time mate. When she was an adolescent wolf many kept slandering her and calling her a Troll or Cursed. When the Trolls finally attacked and began to slaughter, Gesture was told to flee as a Chroniclers' pup and she fled. During her flight mode, she was attacked by a Troll and injured. In shock, she was separated from her group so she hid in a small area until a white and soft blue wolf named Snow found her and took her in under his wing. During the attack, why were they separated from the escaping group?: She got lost as she was sheltered in how to navigate, and was attacked by a Troll, she moved to hide away until the raid settled down. Where did they go after the attack and what did they do?: Gesture was found by Snow who took her in and raised her and taught her what he could to make sure she didn't get lost again. She also renamed herself Gesture instead of Willow Dark, and removed her previous dye that masked her as a lighter wolf. She glowed up and embraced her unique fur with her new dye and name.

Homecoming Name: Blackacre (and familiar Fiscal) If not an Elven name, why did it change?: N/A Desired Rank: Insists on Warden though he is happy to hunt when he is off duty. Personality: Serious, responsible, quiet. He feels he should protect those that need his protection, has a firm belief in what is right and wrong, and generally a good soul despite how others may view him as being mysterious or short. History: Still under development but I would love assistance from the pack in fleshing this out! During the attack, why were they separated from the escaping group?: Blackacre had been focused on getting the young to safety when he was cut off from them--a troll had spotted them, and as he barked for the young to flee, Blackacre fended the beast off. He was seriously wounded and unable to seek the pack out for some time. He still has an ache in his shoulder and left arm from the attack--causing him to be slower in cold weather. Where did they go after the attack and what did they do?: Everywhere. He wandered seeking out his pack to little avail (until recently with the help of a fellow lost elf, Autumn Leaf).

Homecoming Name: Midnight Madness If not an Elven name, why did it change?: N/A Desired Rank: Hunter Personality: A tad bit... out there. Spacey, unfocused, constantly inside his own head. M's brain works too quickly for it to totally process everything, and he's constantly jumping from subject to subject. Sociable, just awkward. His interests include gossip (golly, he loves information), but his memory isn't always the best, which can sometimes lead to some sticky situations. History: The only child born to a Warden father (Midnight Howler) and a Healer mother (Snowy Peak), native elves of the Court. It was immediately clear that Midnight Madness was not like other wolves his age: he never quite settled in socially; it took him much longer to adapt to social situations than other pups. He was constantly overanalyzing things, overstepping bounds when suggesting he derived something from a comment that the other insists wasn't there. His father was aloof, disappointed that his only son wasn't what he had been hoping for, but his mother loved him dearly. They were very close, all throughout his life. During the attack, why were they separated from the escaping group?: Midnight Madness attempted to return in search of his parents, accomplishing nothing but falling far behind the escaping group, losing sight and scent of them altogether. Where did they go after the attack and what did they do?: M found a cave at the base of a nearby mountain after days of searching for a suitable home base for what he hoped would be a brief time. Many, many moons passed before he ran into a small, nomadic pack of wolves and they invited him to joint up with them. Unfortunately, it seems that they did not like him, as he woke up one morning to find them gone, their scent nearly stale by the time he realized. That was his breaking point — it led to him seeking out other elves, as he needed to be back in a familiar environment with his own kind.

From the beginning...
Familiar Name: Earthsea Is this familiar bonded to an pack member?: No Personality Blurb: An intelligent and morally sound creature. Driven, passionate, and honest. He still has a lot to learn but he is a willing pupil... History: He and his family/herd have called this valley home for many years, wielding an intimate knowledge of the lands secrets and migrating frequently in and out of its keep. Throughout winter months they would spend time in the 'Forest of Eternal Life', keeping warm in the hollowed out trees and feasting on patches visible forest floor.
When the group found a pack of wolves occupying it's favored territory, they made themselves scarce enough to observe from afar. And after a few weeks with no foreseeable change/movement, several decided to permanently move on.
Those who opted to stay behind were either too sick to travel, too nostalgic to leave, or stupid. Earthsea happened to be two of those.
The herd had watched the pack long enough to A) notice their reverence for the earth and B) pick up on their many patterns, and Earthsea, being a bright and opportunistic stag but also one suffering from a respiratory infection, jumped on the chance for asylum. He had grown up here. Played and slept within the strange fields of purple bells. Climbed to the top of a bleeding mountain. He would have made this his permanent home a long time ago if he had been given the chance to... So now, as an young adult with the freedom to choose, ('his own funeral' as some within the herd might have jested) he would gladly offer whatever it is he must in return for protection, even if by wolves, so long as he can remain here in the valley. He would fight to stay... a fight for the territory itself.
