I’m Gunna be... Username: In Good Faith Name: Zahra Bint Rabia (meaning: brilliant, bright) Personality:
Zahra is an alpha female, or at least when it comes to her sisters and most especially with her brother--or any male cubs, for that matter. As a cub, it wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination to call her a bully. OOCly, the degree she is a "bully" to any of her siblings would largely depend on conversations with their owners and Syrius Lionwing, as their mother.
As a teen and young adult, and subject to how relationships developed in cubhood, she would be full of angst and very dedicated to impressing her mother. She wants to be the best in her eyes, and knows to accomplish that would be to develop her skills as a fighter and a hunter. At some point, though, I want a life event to occur that tempers her attitude towards others. This could come from any number of people but something would occur that brings her to realize that the animosity that she has is both exhausting and not liable to make her any friends. Possible life events would include a sick or mortally injured sibling she helps nurse back to full health, an experienced lioness beats her in a fight (badly) and offers advise, or she somehow disappoints her father. All of these would result in a more thoughtful, less selfish Zahra after a long talk with someone she respects.
As a mature adult, Zahra would like to think she is very much like her mother. She would value her ability to fight and hunt as her greatest skills and would have attempted to mend any hardships with her siblings that she may have developed in their youth. Because she was never taught how, Zahra would also not be the maternal type. Imagine, OOCly, when you hand a baby to someone that strongly dislikes kids... that would be Zahra if she was ever stuck on nanny duty. She would make sure it/they didn't die but she would much prefer to be out in the grass, hunting down dinner.
Another life event to play around with includes some injury before adulthood that causes her to have to refrain from her hunting or working on physical skills and she is forced to develop "people skills" (yuck). Also, I'd like to discuss with Syrius Lionwing which subgroup the mother would consider herself and would likely model Zahra's behavior a lot from their core beliefs.
