Now for a bit larger stone again, still wanting to keep up her streak, she tossed it yelped just a bit that she'd thrown it far too lightly. I've got it! I won't miss! Jibasth claimed with a trumpet as he snapped a motion that he rarely made even in threadfall. Nearly jolted out of her straps, Onasta gave a warning shout and held on only to witness him somehow, some way, catch the rock on the end of his nose before leveling back out.

"Let's try to keep from doing that sort of thing anymore!" that was more jarring than she'd expected from the smooth flying brown.

Another few rough starts as the stones that E'nd threw either went wide but close enough that Fadeth was able to correct, or so wide that they ended up hitting another rider completely. Giving the rider the most sincerest of apologies E'nd was beginning to curse the fact that he had avoided any sort of throwing games as a kid. There were of course snowball fights which were only harmless if you had more than one person on your team but it had been the mud fights he had detested but was no regretting at least not training more in it.

Picking up the next stone he tossed it, it arched perfectly before tapping Fadeth’s nose earning a snort of approval from the small bronze.

The next toss however, was not as perfect as E’nd had hoped. It was too large as he pulled it out of the bag and with a gust a wind of wind pulling to his left it slipped from his gasp.

”Shardding” He hissed between his teeth as Fadeth shifted again to glance at him.

There was concern considering this practice for the most part harmless.

”I’m fine, it is nothing.”

Another large stone as E’nd quickly tossed it to the side this time avoiding his knee, foot and smacking Fadeth in the snout with something too heavy. Why was there too large of stones in the bag anyways? Was the other point of this was to not throw something too large in the end? Or not to hurt one another?

The next two were a bit smoother in terms of tossing, nothing too large or too wide that Fadeth wasn’t able to reach them. The next stone E’nd pulled was a little larger than he wanted but he tossed it as the smaller bronze twisted with ease letting it bop off his snout. They were getting a better hang of it now.

The next stone was larger, and before E’nd realized it the stone slipped through his fingers into the sky. Fadeth swerved as it went wide, almost arching to the ground before he bumped it with his nose giving an impression of a wince.

”Sorry.”

He tossed another large stone in the air, letting it brush against the edge of his fingers as it flew from his grasp. It wasn't enough as E'nd gave a dismayed look before Fadeth jerked in order to get the stone. He hissed as the straps jolted him forward as he gritted his teeth to avoid cursing under his breath.

Drills existed for a reason, and ones the two didn't have to hold lengthy conversations with other riders during were even better as far as Lezia was concerned. Her green rumbled as they listened to their instructions, leaning down to accept her beloved up onto her shoulders, waiting as the woman counted over the contents of their bag of stone and picked one out.

Then she gave it a toss.

Erinyeth easily leaned back to allow the stone to land on her snout without a sound, though the bond between the two flushed with affection and praise. She hadn't really expected anything else.

Lezia selected another stone and gave it a toss. Once again, Erinyeth just had to shift her stance to catch it on her snout. As long as the pair didn't get cocky - and neither was particularly inclined to do so - they'd handle this rather well.

Try a harder throw, Lezia. We will not have the luxury of this careful aiming.

Not that they'd had much issue in the past, but it was a fairly good idea.

As requested, Lezia was a bit less careful with her stone choice as well as how carefully she aimed for her green's snout when she tossed it. She watched the stone's trajectory carefully, sending her sight to Erinyeth who carefully turned her head to land it on her snout. Lezia thumped the green's neck affectionately.

Lezia grabbed another stone and gave it a toss. The stone was perhaps heavier than she'd planned on when she threw it, and it didn't go quite as high as she'd planned in her head. Erinyeth twisted sharply, sending her rider jerking to one side as she tucked her head to catch the stone on her nose.

At least you got it and I'm still in my straps. Let's not try that when flying. Lezia didn't particularly want to risk snapping their straps and sending them both to their death. Erinyeth agreed.
