[ORP] .: Schnee Bunny Hide and Seek :.

The white lion tilted his head at the sight of large, oddly shaped snow mounds ahead. It looked as though someone had been playing with the snow - cubs, perhaps? Some of the mounds looked like they were meant to mimic an actual lion and various hares.

He gave a chuckle at that, and then paused, before frowning and making his way over to it. Best to investigate it as well. This could also be a good place to hide, or could have been made by the hares themselves.

... Or was simply a distraction. Oh well, he was already going over there anyway.

Asha had finally made her choice to stay in the Schnee lands, after chatting with a very sweet hare who had suggested she go and play this game of hide and seek. She wondered if she would be able to find a bunny. She started her search looking in a pile of snow by a large tree. She walked slowly behind the tree and started her search.

Vegliantino walked around the snow lions with an amused chuckle. They were clearly made by cubs, the little rock faces haphazardly placed, and the tiny hare ones were missing a few ears as they'd fallen off in the sunlight.

He was getting distracted though. Shaking his head, he swished his cape as he turned to make his way back to the lake. Following along the side of his, he sniffed the ground for any traces of hare.

This was getting to be quite the search, he thought as he walked. Wherever these hares were hiding, they were very good at it. He supposed that he shouldn't be surprised -- they were in their natural habitat and obviously had to be good at evading predators.

Making his way to the other side of the lake, Lian veered off into the trees. Clearly, there were no hares anywhere around the water, so it was best to venture deeper.

Asha made her way around the trees and through the snow, she watched as another lion moved towards a lake so that area was already being searched for she decided to go and look in some low bushes with bright berries on them. She stuck her head under one of the bushes and started to search each of the bushes to see if there was a hare there. She was curious what these hares were like that had chosen to play this game. Clever she thought since they were all so good at hiding. "Hello anyone under there?" She called softly.

The trees quickly became thick as he walked, darkening his surroundings and draping him in shadows. Lian kept walking though, unconcerned with walking in darkness. His family specialized in it, after all, and he knew how to navigate it.

He flicked his tail good-naturedly as he walked, as if he were waving to a tune, and then paused as he noticed a tree with outstretched roots. A good enough spot to get if any.

Walking over, he squeezed his head inside to peer at whatever could be in it.

Asha finished looking under the bush with no luck so she turned to the lake that the other lion had since left she figured she would look again and see if there was anything that the other lion had missed. Perhaps there was a burrow hidden somewhere in the snow. She took in a deep breath trying to see if she could catch the scent of the hares in the snow feeling the chilly air in her lungs as she breathed deeply.

The initial movement at the corner of his eye made him hopeful, and then he yelped as whatever it was started flailing about. Pulling himself out of the roots, Lian stumbled backwards and stared with wide eyes as the jackal zoomed out from under the tree and tore off into the forest. Well, that was a bust as well.

With a sigh, the white lion turned and continued walking.

Bopa was very surprised that the hare hopped out in front of him. He was taken aback at first. Clearly this was his lucky day. For as long heart beat he was lost for words but he soon found his tongue. “Hi! I’m so glad I found you!”


The gray hare chuckled. She had clearly been found by someone very happy go lucky. It wasn’t a bad thing, being a hare here meant you had a lot of responsibilities, taking care of lions was just one of them. “It’s very nice to meet you.” She smiled wriggling her nose, taking in the scent of the mint coloured lion. “I’m Kali.” She smiled hopping over to him and placing her fore paws on one of his large fluffy paws.

Asha sighed she wasn't sure what she was doing wrong in this hunt, perhaps this just wasn't how she was meant to find a hare partner. She flopped down in the snow watching again as the other lion continued his hunt for a hare as well, they seemed to be the only two searching at the moment. Perhaps others would join sometime later or maybe the others were searching in a spot that she hadn't thought of yet. Which was possible since she was new to this land and many others new this land like the back of their paws.

Right when the lioness was losing hope, a very bright blue bunny pops out and surprises her!

Asha was nose to nose with the little blue bunny, she wasn't sure if this counted since it felt like the bunny found her, rather then her finding the bunny. She smiled they were like ice to her fire and that just made her so happy inside. She couldn't help but smiled. "Hi I'm Asha." She said

Izotz grinned at her and then said "I'm Izotz, nice to meet you." He had seen the lions for a long time now but hadn't felt a connection to any of the other lions so he had kept to himself until now. Now it was time to join the snow pride and do his part with the other hares.

As he walked further and further in, the once dark forest began to lighten back up, and as he made his way down a slope, Lian's eyes widened at the massive frozen waterfall in front of him. Now this was an interesting sight, indeed! Just the type of thing he was hoping to see.

With a soft grin, the white lion made his way closer to observe the solid ice.

It was fascinating to look at, this falling ice. It looked like a bunch of falling crystals, which, he supposed, wasn't far off from the truth. Making his way closer, the lion peered around the back, and then paused as he noticed the hidden cave behind it.

What a good hiding place! Perhaps he would find a hare hidden away in here.

It was a bit of a squeeze to get into, but Lian managed it after breaking off a few chunks of ice. Padding into the darkness, he blinked to try and get his eyes to adjust to the lack of light.
