Reavers worked as bands after all, and if she couldn't function in a group, then she would have no value... Well she wouldn't have value to a smart Captain, some did have standards after all!
"It can be depending on the task," Nirrti shrugged. She was used to the very opinionated and arrogant daughter of the very Captain who now led them and while some battles weren't worth finding, peace keeper sounded like a good idea now. "If we have to chase down a target for example, some are particularly nibble and a lumbering beast of pure strength would be at a disadvantage," she pointed out.
"Fair," Lofn agreed. "But I suppose it's only relevant when we've put what we've practiced in to action, right?" she smiled at Dreki encouragingly. Clearly she was one of the more pleasant of the individuals present today, or at the very least a lot more sociable and with greater capacity to converse!
"Mmm...Regardless," C'ieth had smartly declined to involve herself in Naberius's tirade. She'd heard her earlier and knew that she certainly had her views, but it wasn't for her to decide how things went for them. "Hjalmar has the right of it, I'm curious as to what's going to happen," she motioned towards the lion Dreki clearly had no love for.

"I'd imagine that once Uncle Tethys has stopped snarling at Lakshmi, we'll probably gain some insight," Nidus mused as he regarded the scene from a distance. To say that Lakshmi looked like she was sulking was an understatement, the lioness was positively sullen and it was abundantly clear she had been chastised. What that meant for them though seemed to be irrelevant; now that his cousin had been put back in her box, Tethys seemed to have turned his attention towards the groups.
Hakon and Simbi were reliablle as always in the sense that they had refrained from offering their opinions for the most part, they knew better than to gossip despite what others might have decided to do when this 'viking' had begun. For them, there was supposed to be a fair amount riding on this given their age, but neither would openly admit that for the longest time...they had never really been sure of what they wanted to do in life.
...This was an opportunity to explore a position they had been considering and if they liked it (and passed) then even better.
Nevertheless the two adults had come to attention as Tethys strode towards them and gazed towards them with a wry smile.
"Are you ready?" he asked as he observed the overall group, grateful that at least his son had carried himself with a measure of dignity (his actions around Dreki excluded).
"I'd say so," Nidus agreed with a wave of his paw, he would have been inclined to get on with it where possible.
"Excellent, then for you, the challenge is simple," he motioned towards the water and the rather murky depths. Here on the shores of the Stormborn and it's surrounding lands, the water was far from calm and most assuredly not welcome. Nevertheless it held treasures beneath it and for the sake of argument, he was going to pretend that he wanted them.
"In those dark depths there lie special shells, they're alive of course so you will need to find the right ones. It's the thing inside that's the important bit..." he glanced at the water and shrugged. "I need 50, then I'll tell you what to do next," he instructed and strode away.
"He wants clams...?" Hakon murmured as he glanced at Simbi.
"I guess so?" Simbi seemed perplexed. "That's not exactly difficult though," he confessed.
"Mmm..."
***********
"As for you," He smirked towards the more feminine group, some of which were extremely opinionated. "I need rocks," he lifted a brow. "Sharp and elongated, not round and heavy," he gave a wave of his paw. "Do be darlings and go and get them for me," he ordered.
His briefing had been much shorter towards the girls and seemingly riddled with disrespect. More importantly, their task didn't even seem that challenging, truth be told, it was even easier than the boys had received. After all, rocks weren't exactly difficult to get hold of around here, were they?
Unsurprisingly, Lofn and Nirrti seemed a touch perplexed.
Naberius though? Well she seemed incensed.
...Maybe that was the point.
