History:Zana is an old soul in a young body. From the day she was born, Zana found her greatest joy came from helping others when they can not help themselves. She, like her father, is musical by nature. She is often found singing about everything, from the sun in the sky, to the way lives are led.
As she has grown, so too has Zana's taste grown from a childish needs to a young woman's desires. Music still rules the young lady's heart, she has begin to feel the urge to change her way of life. Unlike her family, Zana's wanderlust has faded. What was fun as a child, is now a chore as an adult. She longs for a safe home where she can be accepted for who she is and the gifts she brings.
Now an adult, Zana has broken away from her family and is seeking out her aunt that lives in the desert. Her mother told her that her aunt was a seer and might have the answers to the curse that plagues her family. Joining her in the journey is her best friend Kimya. The two have become fast friends, Zana knows she would be lost without him.
Friendship blossomed into love without either realizing it till they almost lost each other. They settled for a time among the Tuait'tekem tribe where they started a family with five headstrong boys. When the tribe parted, Zana and her family traveled on with only Zhak of their son remaining with his parents. Not long after they left, Zana found herself with cub again this time adding darling daughters to the mix.

History:Kahdma thinks the world revolves around him and his needs. He is the gods gift to females everywhere and they had best realize that. Oh not that he is an abusive jerk, he just ignores anyone that doesn't realize how important he is.
Rude and blunt, Kahd doesn't really think about how his words affect others. Surprisingly enough the male -does- have a big heart...it is just very hard to get to that heart and have him notice the things he does.
He may come off as a chauvinist, and he is, though he does not think females are worth less than a male. In fact he adores females. With that said, it should also be noted he has a very old world view on females. They are delicate, precious treasures that should be protected at all cost. No female should ever know pain or fear, a male should be so privileged to give his life in protecting his female.

History:Ebere is as gentle a lady as one could hope to ever meet. She has a kind word for everyone that she meets. While she is a bit timid, she is always happy to make a new friend.
Ebe had a major trauma in her life when she was an adol, warping her slightly. She is unable to handle violence or anger when it is directed at her. She is deathly afraid of hyenas, really all canines, going into a catatonic state if confronted with them.
She always has a kind word for everyone, and can be trusted to make sound judgments.
Since the minty lioness has thrown herself into aiding the deposed queen Hippy, a new side has emerged to the quiet female. A core of steel that she didn't even know she had has emerged. While still terrorized of all things canine, Ebere will stand up for herself now, refusing to be a victim any longer.
Ebere chose to side with the amazon queen and help her regain her homeland. A strong bond grew between the two of them that both tried to ignore. Ebere was heavy with cub when they returned to drive the usurpers from the amazon lands. Deciding to stay long enough to birth her cubs in safety, Ebe grew closer and closer to the re-throned queen.
Unable to stand the thought of leaving her behind, Ebe pledged her life and loyalty to the dark female. Theirs is a rare love match, and they are each others strongest supporters.

History: Kupa was born one of two boys in a large litter that valued girls. Despite being a boy, Kupa was well loved and doted on by his sisters, mother, and grandmother due to his bright coloring. Of course he wasn't aware of the reason, just knew that the females he loved best loved him in return.
As he grew, Kupa began to notice he was not like the others of his litter....or like the other males. For one thing...he was much much larger. As a cub he was twice the size of his sisters and promised to grow into a truly massive lion but luckily for all his heart is just as massive. He loved to follow the girls around being the brawn to their brains.
But fate would soon turn against the happy little cub, as he entered adulthood and reached his full growth of nearly 600 pounds, the top of his shoulders hitting 5ft in height,and stretching a full 8ft long from tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. Kupa would be ripped away from the loving shelter of his mother and sisters to be placed with the other pride males. This cruel separation has devastated the once friendly male, cause him to withdraw into himself.
The once outgoing and friendly cub, no longer speaks to anyone, usually found trying to curl up into as tiny a ball as he can get, whimpering for his mother or sisters. He grew to an immense giant but nothing could put a spark back into the male. He had to be held down to be force fed or he would have died of starvation.
He was stolen by the serial killer Angra as a pet/toy/companion for his daughter, Kupa's life has undergone a drastic change. Bullied by the bright young female, Kupa has began to regain his former weight and attitude, doting on the small girl with all his being. Yet once again, his world was torn apart as his 'mistress' left him to fend for himself. Lost and alone, he wanders now searching for a home and someone to take care of him.
Recently Kupa ran across his sire Vestip. After some very angry and bitter words, Kupa found that his mother and closest sister Kim'acha were both living in the Mwezi'Johari as well as Vestip. His heart leapt to be allowed to be with them once more.

History: Khith was born to a single mom in a truly massive sized litter. Sad to say, Khith is was not the brightest puppy around. Somehow in his young brain, some wires got crossed. He doesn't like other canines...he likes felines. As a puppy, Khith could be found trotting after whatever cat crossed his path. Luck for the little pup, most of the lions were amused by him and let him hang out rather than running the hyper youngster off.
Things didn't change much as the youngster grew from the hyper puppy, into and equally hyper adult. Prone to speaking of himself in third person, Khith is eager to please anyone and everyone that crosses his path. To him all females are Pretty and will be refereed to as such!

History: Small in height, she was rather heavy set but that doesn't seem to phase her in the least. She shared a very close bond with her brother Unuspuniceus and tends to follow where he leads. After the horrible death of his mate, Bekile and Unus joined the Jini-mesmi to find their father. It was there in the swamps that Bekile began to blossom, opening up to more than just her family and making a real home for herself. After a brief and unsuccessful relationship with the rouge Vestip, Bekile found herself pregnant by another male and facing a frighting new chapter in her life...that of a mother.
After the birth of her wild crew of cubs, Bekile's life changed completely. First came the gift of her new name, changing her from who she was into Kabusha, a member of Jini-msemi and a mother of the swamps. She found a new friend and sister in Ukosa, mate to her brother. In the older lioness, Kabusha found a hidden strength inside herself and finally, at long last, found peace.
The peace that Kabu though she had found didn't last long as her world was rocked again. First by the murder of a pride member, while she didn't know him well the murder had set her teeth on edge. Soon, too soon, after came another murder one that would tear Kabu's heart to pieces. Uko, he beloved sister was found slain in her den leaving her three newborn cubs with only one parent. Unable to stand the though of another tending them, Kabu quickly claimed her nieces and nephew, struggling to protect her brood of ,now, eight cubs.
Life once again beginning to settle in the swamps, Kabu finding a new sense of strength in the return of her love, Vestip, now called Ila. Forging ahead, the two tried to come to grip with their past, seeking to form a new, even more unbreakable bond. Though her heart still ached for her sister and with fear for her brother, who has yet to reappear...life struggled on and with it the dark lioness grasp for strength from the loves in her life, Ila and her 8 cublings.
Kabu's life underwent another transformation as her first cubs went out into the world to find themselves, though this one has brought great joy to her life. Just as Kabu was coming to grips with the idea of being a grandmother, she and her beloved mate Ila experienced a second miracle in the form of 6 more beautiful cubs. It was more than a little shocking as she had believed herself too old to have more children. Never the less, her children were her whole world.
Then disaster struck the swamps. When the wildfire swept the drought stricken land destroying their home, Kabu was fatally injured. Rather than try to move her, her beloved mate, cubs and extended family gathered around to spend her last hours with her. It was a time of great sorrow but love as Kabusha left the world knowing her family would survive and flourish.

History: Tana's birth was a mistake,but Kabu loved her little miracles all the same. A doting mother that always spoiled her cubs, quickly turned into a frazzled mother when she adopted her slain sibling's 3 cubs as well bringing the total to eight. One of the smaller cub, Tana quickly found out that size didn't buy you any breaks when it came to your siblings. He became a bit of a conman for awhile cuddling up to any female that would pay the little male attention.
As he grew though, Tana saw the strain that was put on his mother and gave up his cons in favor of becoming a devoted son. He didn't bond closely with the members of his own litter,instead he took up with little Wahadi the smallest of his cousins. The two runts quickly learned they could get into as much mischief as they wanted long as they gave their mother the big baby eyes and she would soften every time.
Life wouldn't always be so serene for little Tana though. Not long before he would have to leave the swamps on his name quest, a new figure entered his life in the form of Ila, his mother's mate. He resented the big male at first but the hate soon turned to affection when he found a strong alli in the big male.
So with a lighter heart knowing his mother and Wahadi were protected, Tana set forth from the swamps to find his true name. In his travels, Tana met many strange lions and other creatures including a half-deaf spazztastic, brightly colored lioness. She drove him up the walls and around the bend till he couldn't fathom life without her. Taking her home got him in trouble as his mother immediately pounced on the idea they were mates!
Tana warmed to the idea quickly and pledged his life, love and family to Eshe taking the name Ekuweme to show her he would honor his promises for all time. Not long after their cubs started to go on their pilgrimages, disaster struck the pride. With the loss of their home and the devastating death of his mother, Eku has become a bit overly cautious of the world and insanely protective of his family.
