When she pressed her head into his chest he felt such relief flood through him. "Me either. I hope we find some sign soon." He commented and looked over towards the cheetah that was in their midst. Yes, perhaps they had heard or seen something.
"Even if they didn't the more eyes we have the better, though at this point we don't know if any of these rogues are trustworthy." He said the last part quietly to her.

Aza looked around at all the new faces joining the search. This was good, the more they had the better the chance they would find the culprit or culprits.
Burny decided to just trail for a few moments, there seemed to be a lot of lions about and he wasn’t really sure who would welcome him in to their midst. He did want to help but he knew he wasn’t;t must good at fighting, he really just wanted to make sure that the Bahari was safe for Anya, and also, to make sure that the trouble maker was caught before Anya decided to join the chase.
The last thing he wanted was for her to get caught up in anything dangerous.

PART ONE IS NOW OVER!
No sooner had the grey male decided to walk along one chosen trail, than he was joined by another more recent member of the pride. Or rather, one who had merely made his presence known. heralding from the exterior islands of the pride, he had never really made an effort to come into the more central regions... or he hadn't until today when it had been made abundantly clear that every able bodied individual was required. He hadn't entirely understood why this was the case either, one might have even said this Bumani had lived under a rock as he'd had no real recollection of the meeting between the Vikings and the mainland.
...As a consequence, that which lay in wait had remained all but a mystery to him.
The sandy male had barely been able to give the scarcest of nods towards Burny when he came to a halt, a mere glimpse of movement caught in his eye. At first he'd thought it a hare of some description, nondescript and without importance, but then his mind had acknowledged that perhaps it might well be too big to make any sense.
"That was no hare," he said at last, deeming it unnecessary to provide an introduction as he turned his gaze towards where he'd seen the shape run. Whatever it was and whoever it was was making a quick exit and it seemed rather important to prevent that gap from widening.
"Over here!" he yelled, granted, taking the wind out of Burny's sails but he would make certain the grey male was thanked and recognised in the moment the creature was caught. After all, Burny had chosen the path first and he'd been here first...it had been coincidental that he had followed after him a short while later...
Part Two - The Chase Something has been sighted, though at this time we're not entirely sure what that 'thing' is, or even who it might be. The only information that we have is that it's running and it's going as quickly as it can. The only hope there is of catching it in this ruckus is to put our huntsmen on show.
All beings are born to hunt and while some do it better than others, those within these lands are renowned for their capacity to work as a team. It's time to put any differences aside in pursuit of the only lead we currently have...
How to Play:
The counter starts at 0. The team must hit 500 points to catch the target. Each participant must roll 1 10-sided dice (or generate a random number between 1-10) The rolls are cumulative meaning you are working as a group, if the person above you rolls a 9, and you roll a 3, that means the current total is 12! You cannot chain post, please wait for someone to post after you have done so. I will ensure there is a post between each participant if I notice that there's a delay and you need some help, but my posts will not help towards the total! When the total has been reached, quote me if I'm not present so I can finish this event up for you! The participants will be entered in to a raffle for the lioness.

The silver male raised both eyebrows at the soft brown male, he managed, just to stop himself from jumping. The larger male had appeared so quietly from behind. He didn’t recognise him but from the curl in his mane and the way he seemed to know where he was he decided that he must belong here.
Burny smiled, the shadow of, something, that Ramiel had caught on his radar made him follow after the taller male. He was starting to feel a little scared but he remembered why he was doing this. He was here to make sure that Anya wasn’t.
Flattening his ears in to his coral coloured mane the short chubby male decided it would be a good idea to follow the other closely, his tail twitching in a nervous manner. “What do you think it was?” He queried his deep green eyes peering in to the shadows, searching for what the other male had seen and what they were all probably chasing.
Aza Listened as something had been spotted, so now everyone was on high alert. She looked over at her mother and the other pride members that were in their small hunting party. Listening as one of the males shouted for everyone to come over in their direction she moved that way.

Lit looked over at his mate. "It looks like they have something." This was nerve wrecking to say the least but the fact he had eyes on his mate was very reassuring. At least he didn't have to worry about something happening to her.

"...A Hare," he answered honestly, his accent so thick that it was clear that he might have been from here but he was from a part that didn't have a great deal of access to the mainland, either that, or he simply hadn't made the effort! His facial expression however, seemed to indicate that he was aware of how absurd that statement was.
"Except it was far too big to be that sort of thing, it just... moved that way," he shook his head as he made an attempt to move towards it, setting off at a brisk pace. At the moment he had no intention of running at full tilt as that would service no one. He'd wait until more were in position and then they could move in much the same fashion as casting a net, in order to encircle and ensnare their target.
...Whatever it was.
"It was fast no matter what it was, and sure as hell didn't want to be anywhere near us," he murmured. He'd seen preybeasts in these parts and even though they knew hunger could be a danger, the sea lions were more inclined towards their scaled friends than red meat more often than not. Consequently, they weren't liable to spook in quite so dramatic a fashion. "Which is pretty weird if they're from around these parts," he pointed out.
Burny tilted his head watching as the others seemed to become alert to the thought that something was indeed near by. He still felt worried and his heart definitely jumped a breath when the other lion spoke to him. He felt like he was on high alert.
“I Suppose we should follow it?” He wrinkled his nose distastefully his brow forming a deep V between his eyes. “Right?”

The four big males heard a shout and turned to make a beeline towards the ruckus. They were here for one reason and that’s as to capture the culprit.
"Litanu, hush," Kawai said with her ears back, her voice soft. "They wouldn't be so bold as to walk among us after having killed one of our own. We must trust those that have come to help us."
She barely got her words out before someone sounded the alarm for movement and she froze in place, her eyes wide as they darted around, looking for whatever had moved. Those gathered seemed to be giving chase and she didn't want to be left behind, so with a nudge to Litanu's shoulder she began to follow the other lions.
"Come, we mustn't be left behind," she said softly, her voice shaking and betraying her faux courage.

Before the goddess could speak to her daughter and perhaps encourage her away to where her other siblings might be she was brought to a verbal halt. Her ears twitched and turned towards some shouting. "Something has been spotted?" Her heart raced as her red-orange gaze fell to Aza, and the situation only became worse when a pale pelted sbling of her daughters showed up. "Aur`iel." Krisis greeted her daughter in mild annoyance to which she received a sarcastic smile.
"You two, stay safe." Unfortunately the mother knew she couldn't chase away her daughters. The litter had minds of their own, which she encouraged, but in times like these she found herself frustrated, couldn't they see she was trying to help? In most cases they didn't and the hard lessons were learned. She wouldn't leave, but instead, hunt like the mortals often did - which seemed to be necessary to find the 'thing' that had immerged from the shadows so to speak.
Aur`iel was late to the show, as always, and she made no attempts at apologizing for her tardiness. In fact it almost seemed as though her mother had wished she didn't make an appearance. "What are we looking for?" She hadn't quite grasped that they weren't sure and the look she got from Krisis made her second guess her question. Pursing her lips she grew quiet and peered around for signals from the group. Fortunately for her she spied her sister begin to move towards the shouting in what was quickly becoming a small hunting party and her mother shortly followed. A shrug of her shoulders made an alrighty statement seen, but unsaid and she too started towards the shouting.
The cheetah glanced over at the lioness, looking up due to some combination of height differences and the hunch she kept in her frame in the event she needed flee. "If a rogue does not consider all suspicious, she may lead a very short life." She gave a little bow of her head. "But I did not see anyone I might suspect of this."
She raised her head as the alarm was given, and felt her ears flay back as the chase began. Whether it was fear of being left behind, or trampled, the cheetah put speed to her paws, and bounded among the herd, doing her best to keep out from under much larger paws and at the same time gain a glimpse of their target. Perhaps she could be of help... earn a favor or two.
Burny looked around, a lot of lions and, apparently a cheetah? Out looking. He very rarely saw other creatures here, but the bahari had always been a welcoming place so he supposed it wasn’t that unusual.
Still taking his mind off the cheetah he looked for guidance from the larger lion.
One of her sisters joined and she was pleased that she looked unharmed and well. "Nice of you to join us Auri." She commented as she turned her gaze back to the surrounding area. "Apparently someone caught sight of something not too far ahead, so now we're on the trail." She commented to her in a somewhat hushed tone. Why were they whispering?

Maybe his mate was right, but maybe she was also being naive. While he liked to think well of those around them in times such as these one could never be too sure. His father had been in the rogue lands for quite a time and he had told him stories that would make your skin crawl. Not that he had really done it to scare him or anything, just to tell him the truth of the world around them. "I'm right beside you my darling." He said as he followed along with her.
Kawai shuddered at the thought of living life as a rogue. It really didn't suit her and she wondered how anyone could live on their own out there when things were dangerous even here, among friends and family. She bumped against Lit's side as she trotted along, secure in the knowledge that there were many of them and likely just one murderer.
"What do we do if we find them?" she asked softly, worry making her voice tremble just as much as the adrenaline pumping through her.
