Trafalgar was stunned that this Pokemon could speak human speech. He was glad..it didn't seem volatile at the moment. Trafalgar didn't know if he would be able to handle normal types. This Pokemon, Chatot, sure was interesting, however he supposed, for now he would just have to try to cause no conflict with this Pokemon.
"Hi, my name is Trafalgar Vince Olympius X. My quest is to save one lost and abandoned worker, and catch at least one new Pokemon. The air speed velocity of a Swellow is...24 miles per hour of course.." Trafalgar answered. It would seem this Chatot had been watching too many movies or something along that sort. He hoped he had answered right.
Onyxia jumped a little as a Pokemon emerged from the snow. It was a massive Cryogonal, she hadn't seen one so large before. Part of her wanted to leave but the option of retreat was gone. "Okay Ordo... let's dodge it." Her hand reaching down for one of her Pokeballs. She had three and could waste a single one. She kept it in her hand at the ready. >I'm not going down so easily.< Ordo ran to the side to try to avoid the attack.
The Chatot would squawk with surprise. That was not one of the more expected answers...though it did happen. With a sharp motion it would thrust outit's wing, signalling the boy to pass. As it did a brightly colored feather would fall to the path. [TRAFALGAR OBTAINED PRETTY WING!]
Trafalgar took in a breathe of relief as he was allowed past the Chatot. He even received an item! It wasn't so bad...at all. "Thank you, Chatot. Take care of yourself." Trafalgar told the bird, as he jogged past. "That went alright, huh, Trust?" Trafalgar asked his partner.
Trust nodded. /I certainly am glad to avoid that battle. Onward, we go, let us see what awaits us./ She nodded again in approval.
Trafalgar and Trust would travel farther down upon this tree, in hopes of adventure, in hopes of success.
Dodging and 'not going down easily' were probably off the table at this point. Within seconds the chains would snake around the Litleo, wrapping around his limbs and throat before slowly squeezing down on it's body. It would hurt only a little at first, but the longer this kept up the worse Ordo would be. It would not relent until one of them fell, or with luck the Fire-type escaped. Sadly that was easier said than done!
Up in the air, Sol would be provided with a perfect bird's eye-view of the island...and more importantly...the resort! It glittered like gold. He wondered if there would be gold. Gold was good. People liked gold or anything they thought was gold and would pay through the nose for it. He could also except silver, ivory, or marble carvings. Pretty much anything he could pawn or sell.
Umbra meanwhile was a bit...uncomfortable. He wasn't the floating apparition sort of ghost. Bigging this far from the ground made him....uncomfortable...and yet it also gave him the most curious yearning. Like he was meant to rise here under his own power. Strange.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 3 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.

Trafalgar could spot the resort...from way up here. That means that he truly would have to find his way down this giant tree first, it seemed. He was kind of confused with the whole thing, but decided it best to figure it out...later. Trafalgar scanned the areas for any Pokemon in the area...trying to stay as alert as he could.
And with a swift pair of kicks, the Dodrio would knock the pair out of the helicopter, sending them falling... into a surprisingly soft snowbank. They'd landed on one of the three highest points on the island-- the top of a mountain. Hopefully, the boy and his ghost were bundled up.
[[Sol has arrived at Everlast Summit! 10 posts to enter the next area, you start at 1/10.]]

The next Pokemon Trafalgar would have the privileged of encountering was a Seedot. It's 'cap' attached firmly to an adjacent branch, the Pokemon would make no move nor sound towards them. It merely stared....a tad unnervingly to be honest. The Grass-type didn't even seem to blink!
Sol would make a less than graceful landing, and soon following it would the a large yellow rubber raft. In his haste during the fall he'd pulled the wrong cord in the bag. Now this thing was useless! Money well spent indeed.
Umbra for his part would face-plant magnificently into a snowdune. Yet as he rose it was clear the ball was now in his court. After all, a ghost had no fear of the cold! Or dying from exposure for that matter.
Sol meanwhile would zip up his jacket, and be glad for his tendency to wear a sweater. As he got up rose, the boy would gesture to his Golett "You're out in front Mr Plow". Yup, he wasn't going to risking in this...this....dang inconvenience powder!
So it was, after thousands of years, Umbra was not only a packbray, but a snowplow to boot.

Trafalgar thought that Seedot was a very interesting Pokemon. The Pokemon definitely had appeal, but Trafalgar was trying to avoid things that were unnecessary at this point. "Maybe if I happen to see another one..." He muttered silently. He could avoid a battle with this Pokemon for now, and he would. There were more Pokemon to be seen and definitely more battles to save their energy for.
Trafalgar hated to admit it...but he was a believer in fate. Twice now, he had encountered this same Seedot. That meant...fate was calling for a battle! Trafalgar didn't know yet if he wanted to just battle it or perhaps catch it, but he figured, it could be a fun experience. "Here goes nothing, Trust, give it a Shadow Sneak and bring it down from the tree!" Trafalgar pointed at the Seedot, unsure.
Trust didn't think it was necessarily wise, but at the moment, they had no idea of telling how long this would all take. Trust started to concentrate on a Shadow Sneak attack and sent the shadow up the tree in hopes it would hit Seedot and bring the Pokemon into the battle.
">Tch<" The Seedot clicked whatever functioned as it's tongue ">Yeeeaaaah think yer tough eh kid? EH?<" The Seedot called out, wiggling it's feet ">Think ya're stronger 'an me!? Well bring it creampuff! Just try it!<" The Seedot cried, wiggling all over yet not letting go of the tree branch. Seemed this one has a little sassafras in his genes!
