I think it depends on how much you want to emphasize the Star of David.

First one, I like the additional Magen David in the middle there.

Then I think you should should go with the first emblem. It is also more symmetrical, and thus more appealing, compared to the second. Also, the bolder lines speak louder and give it stronger but smoother feel. It captures more, I think. (I realized this upon a second examination). That's my opinion, anyhow.

KatyaChekov First one, I like the additional Magen David in the middle there. Yeah, if I tried put a cut-out one in the second pattern, it would be very large... but otherwise it's too small. So I had to do a hexagon. Thanks!
