Claire was completely out, there was no communicating with her. Though Cera would discover one thing, she was actually asleep and it wasn't a natural sleep. Someone had put her to sleep via Hypnosis, all the mental signs were there to come to this conclusion. By the looks of it this induced sleep was pretty strong too, either came from a well trained Pokemon or a powerful hybrid.

The sudden appearance of Reno would catch the trio off guard but the sudden Hyper Voice really would. "Agh! Shut up. Shut up. SHUT UP!" Roared a Druddigon hybrid as an aura of visible draconic chi exploded into existence around it, the hybrid launching its self off the ground with a thud of its mighty tail, the beast flying towards RC as it aimed to strike him down as the monster spun around and flung its thick tail at the Rayquaza hybrid. Dragon Tail.

Another member of the trio, a Xatu hybrid, didn't seem to enjoy the Hyper Voice either but seemed to be enduring it well, just staring down Reno as it attempted to lull him to sleep with Hypnosis.

And the third of the trio, a Houndoom hybrid, just sat back and smiled, arms folded. "Right on cue."

Lykas heard the trio in the cave gloating in their overconfidence. Rather than waiting for the others, he held a glimmering blue gemstone in his hand for a moment before the hybrids and Channlers in the room would sense a massive swell of water chi coming from his general area, the energy too intense to pinpoint him in the middle of it, before an utterly immense Water Spout ripped through the air, aiming to not only wash the three of them off the pier leading to the shrine but blast them clean across the cave and, possibly into the water where the Dragons could have at them freely.

Once the attack was over, he'd vanish into the water via Acid Armor, vanishing from sight as he simply merged with the water within the den.

RC saw the Druddgion Hybrid coming his way.

"Quite the beast, but seems to lack brains" Martha would quip.

"Let's use that to our advantage." RC would quietly say back before he would use Extremespeed to evade the attack and relocate him self below the Hybrid, as close to the water as he could. "I've seen Trapinch with better aim! If your going to shut me up, come and shut me up!" RC would taunt. He was going to toy with this brute.

Reno felt himself feeling very confident as he swung his kick out towards the Xatu hybrid, feeling he would have a great advantage against the staring hybrid. After all, who needed to put all their effort into such an easy swing. Would barely have to move in fact. Oh hell. The kick, following this spiraling thought process, went from a powerful swing into a lazy drop onto the floor that sent Reno sprawling from his own momentum and the leg he was now tripping over.

Looking up from his collapsed position on the floor as he fought against total unconsciousness, Reno did his best to keep talking. "Fine then. No kicking. Can I get a name to match the creepy visage or do I just call you two furry feathered freaks?" He cracked from his position on the floor, sluggishly lifting his left arm to gesture before it fell numb on top of him.

The answer to one of those questions would be slowly drifting to the bottom of the pool of water. The Hypnosis had completely consumed Reno by this point, rendering him completely unable to protect himself. Which was unfortunate, as one of the local Gyarados was beginning to poke at the comatose body slowly descending into the pool as it decided on precisely whether or not to eat the morsel in its environment.

However, for Reno, he had no idea that his body was being put through the choice of whether to drown or to be eaten for his death. Instead, he found himself somewhere else that laid outside of the bounds of Johto. Glancing around in a panic at the snow-covered stonework and the ice sheets that coated the ground around him, he took off as quickly as his short legs could carry him. Scraping his left arm against a fallen rock in his fear-induced rush, he winced at the pain of skinning his elbow on the debris. But he couldn't stop. Wouldn't dare stop right now. Something was chasing him. Something he couldn't see. But he knew. It wanted him dead. "Help! Fer the love of Arceus, somebody bloody help me! It's tryin' ta kill me!" The higher pitched voice screamed, the accent coating it like a thick coat of paint.

Dan rubbed the back of his neck nervously, not sure what could be done. If she was just asleep, she would be okay, right? In any case, there was nothing more he could do here, so he would leave with Cera. Besides, she should be fine her Charizard protecting her. He entered the Den, making his way to the shrine where the others were.

"Reee..." A screech like cry called out from the darkness. "Reeen..." It called out again. There was something else watching Reno outside of his pursuer, however this one at least spoke. "-ooo..." It continued. Each time this disembodied voice spoke the darkness seemed to become...darker? No, that wasn't right. Thicker? Heavy? It was hard to describe, the darkness just felt wrong and it became more wrong as the thing spoke to him. Was this the same thing chasing him? No, he was certain it wasn't, it came from somewhere else, or at least, nowhere it felt like. Was this what it felt like to go insane?

Reno would be saved, of course, by Lykas. "You had to get in the way, didn't you?" He asked the unconscious channeler as his head became solid, the rest of his body forming in the water as Acid Armor wore off. The Hybrid carried Reno out of the water before turning back tot he shrine. He sensed something there he couldn't see but what was it?
