So much of her life laid shattered in pieces. Her heart had left her while her cubs had grown up and wandered into their own paths. Her son had been with her for the last few leagues to make certain that she had arrived safely, but she doubted that he would change his mind to join this pride with her. They had relatives here, but it seemed he was not yet ready to settle.

Still, the mountains had offered her a bit of hope. Here she could find a new path, a new life. She just prayed that the gods would be more merciful this time. Anything dear to her she would hold onto and not let go of. Her previously adventurous demeanor was gentler, much more mature now. Perhaps the rockslide was a way of fate shoving her out of her sorrows and into a brighter future.

One could only hope, right?

Approaching Ukahada the lioness bowed her head. "Thank you for your hospitality. My name is Suzume, a pleasure to meet you." She would take the feather and from that moment on look towards the new path that she so desperately needed.

Ukahada offered more reassuring smiles, words of welcome and feathers to the newcomers. More sad faces, more nervous words.. he wasn't sure how the wanidatsi handled this every festival, though the festival was a much happier time and those who joined then were not in such a sorry state. Still, he gained some appreciation for the task of meeting new members in bulk like this.

When the last of the Jini-misemi had introduced themselves and accepted a feather, Ukahada got back up to his feet to address the crowd.

"On behalf of the Wolf Clan, Tsine'rehsa Waya and I would like to welcome you all to the Ela'wadiyi," he said, searching for what he hoped were the right words, "I know many of you have family in other clans that you would join and we will take care of getting word out to them as soon as we can. In the meantime, make yourselves at home here, with us."

OOC: Welcome to the Ela'wadiyi! All of the characters who joined during this mini-event are nearly full members of the pride. In approximately one month, the former Jini-misemi will be sorted out into their proper clans. In the meantime, you live with the Wolf Clan and we don't recommend breeding just yet (though good luck getting a slot that fast with Ela, so whatevs).
