Outwardly out-going and sociable. Nkosazana is like a butterfly flitting from flower to flower as their attention draws her. Unfortunately there’s not much variety in a small group. She loves to be the center of her group or any group for that matter. Want to make a quick friendship? Simply fawn all over her. She'll love you. ^_^ She's the talkative one and perfectly willing to let her brother stand in the background.
While not cruel to slaves, she feels they have their place. Worshiping at her feet. Oh, she might share her spiritual bounty but only if they kiss the ground she walks on enough. Nko wants one or two slaves, but really desires many. Who better to pamper and care for her?
To any lion who’s higher than she? Well she can kiss a** fairly well herself. The higher the rank the more suck-up goes into it. She does her best to be seen with as high ranking as possible. Feeling that maybe something will rub off onto her.
Nkosazana is certainly the type to 'look around' for a mate. If she does finally choose to pick one, he will most certainly be higher ranked than herself. Not to say that a lion lower wouldn't have a chance, he'd simply have to work harder to prove himself. She feels her brother made a mistake in picking a mate so soon. When he sees all the pretty lionesses here he's bound to regret it. In regards to his mate she is friendly with the lioness and gets along with her for the most part. Quickly becoming bored with her always business attitude.
History:
The tragic death of her mother left the little lioness and her brother in the care of the slave Irja. The cream lioness, under the care of another couple, took in the two cubs and raised them as her own. Nkosazana has mostly blocked the event and death of her birth mother. As a result all she can remember of her is a fuzzy image. Nko almost never speaks of her mother and generally doesn't feel too much of a loss over her death. She is hesitant to flaunt being raised by a slave, as kind as she had been. Only bringing it up if greatly pressed.
Having rejoined the pride, Nko has settled in well enough. She had a private talk with Queen Alcmene and believes the other enjoyed her company. While she has had one interaction with a slave, the others seem to be scarce. She's had no luck in finding slaves willing to do tasks for her and it rankles her fur. Nko had her first litter with a rogue. Unfortunately, in her mind at least, they were born to the low middle class. Her dreams of a proud line of guards has been dashed this time. She finds it difficult to look upon them without disappointment, though no fault of their own.

A lioness that was once nothing but honey and butterflies. Parvaneh never looses her temper, but she can make it known. She is better prepared now for putting her paw down and being obeyed.
History:
The pride has disbanded! Leaving the mild female on her own for the first time in her life. Her promised mate never returned. Now Parvaneh has set off from the only pride, family, and home she's ever known. Decision making was difficult on her own at first. Then came learning to stand up to others, including males. That was the hardest thing she'd had to learn. Now she is content with her place as a brewer.

Zenobia gives off the aura of a slightly older lioness, just past her giddy adult stage. She is quite friendly with anyone and extremely fair-minded. There isn't any point in trying to double cross anyone. She, however, does not like the rain when she's hungry. It makes her grumpy.
History:
Her early history is unknown. Valuing her freedom of choice, Zenobia has never settled down. She roamed the roguelands as she pleased. On her travels, she met a fluffy lion named Athena. Confused by her reaction to him, she fled. The pale lioness encountered a lion looking for those to help him repopulate his pride. She agreed to have cubs with Sliabh. Zenobia had a healthy litter of cubs; six of which returned with their father, and Zenoba remained with her.
She re-met up with Athena. For the safety of Zenoba, Zeno decided to travel with him. Going so far as to allow the fluffy lion to help with Zenoba. Now her remaining cub is an adult. The white lioness as turned to the affections of Athena; for many moons the pair hoped for a litter. Finally the happy day came when Zenobia found she was pregnant. Three cubs were born. Time passed and the three young lions grew into young adults. Despite her efforts, Pallas and Aphrodite left to lead their own lives.
In her grief over the loss of her cubs, Zenobia ran across a cheetah. The pair had a dalliance and the lioness found herself expecting once again. She found the cheetah again to let him know that he was to be a father. Five healthy cubs were born with some going with the male and some staying with Zeno.

Ilarion is a happy, go-lucky kinda guy. He does his best to avoid and stay out of fights, but he'll give it a go for a good reason. At heart this wild dog is a wanderer. He'll go where his feet lead without hesitation. That wild wind will always call to him.
When it comes to lady dogs, Ilarion can be a gentleman and smooth talker if he tries. That is to say he doesn't try very often. He'd much rather go with that wild and dangerously mysterious rogue. Don't expect him to stick around for a family either. That just isn't his style.
History:
Most of his history is unknown, but the male met the easy-going maned wolf Haruki'Ryuu. The two cheerful boys teamed up and now roam the rogue lands. Unexpectedly his friend got lucky, and three of the resulting pups were dumped upon the permanent bachelors. Taking everything in stride, Ilarion has helped Haruki raise all three to adulthood.

His main past is unknown. The maned wolf encountered the pleasurable wild dog on his own travels. Hitting it off almost immediately, he decided to join up and they travel together. More recently he came across the company of a female maned wolf, named Luhta. Together they produced an adorable litter of six. She likes to travel and explore. Always ready to have a showdown. She can be sharped tongue when her ire is aroused. Etain has a big pride in her training team and wont back down from an insult. She'll show them not to mess with fire! On her travels she met hyenas and has developed a nearly all consuming hate of them.
Etain enjoys spending her time out looking for rogues who will join her pride. She prides herself on being able to tell if someone is friendly or intends her harm.
History:
When she was younger she was simply a trainer. She grew up with a male cub Erufu. They often practiced sparring together and were nearly inseparable. He was her closest and most trusted friend in the whole pride. When it was time to choose their ranks, she picked Trainer with Erufu. It was exciting at first, and she had lots of fun sparring with her best friend.
Etain soon became bored with the whole routine. She didn't want to tell Erufu she was tired of being a Trainer unless she hurt his feelings. So when the pride took a down turn during the famine she took to her paws and bolted. She tried to convince herself it was for the best, and the pride wouldn't survive. What it really was that drove her to flee was the thought of watching her pride die one by one.
During her traveling, the orange lioness discovered she enjoyed making new acquaintances. There were so many out there to meet and each one was different. The other aspect was traveling through new territories. The variety of the landscape enchanted her. Etain made it her goal to see as much as she possibly could.
However, not all was as pleasant as the lioness could have wished. She ran afoul a group of hyenas. Passing through hyena territory she encountered a group of rogues. They tormented and harassed her for days until she eventually left the area. Ever since then, Etain has been wary, suspicious, and jaded towards them; preferring to run them off at first sight.
Eventually her blood called her back home. In seeing all she could see, she realized that she did indeed miss home. So she turned her paws back to the place of her birth. The pride stuggled to hold itself together. Etain did all she could as days turned to weeks, and weeks to months, and months to seasons. Eventually the leaders decided that the pride could no longer sustain itself. It was disbanded and the members scattered to the four winds.

Growing up ‘Riyya was a spunky cub full of curiosity and vigor. She matured into a young lioness with boundless energy. Determined to get her way, she was bold and independent.
After the accident, she has become dependent and clingy most of the time even though she detests the necessity of it. Because she wasn’t born blind, ‘Riyya resents the fact she must now depend upon others to get around. She wonders why the accident happened to her at least once a day. Was it her fault, or perhaps a greater reason? Occasionally Shukriyya will dig her mental and physical feet in. She’ll try to do things for herself, but by day’s end give in to the inevitable.
History:
Shukriyya was born to a family of roving rogues. They moved from place to place as they saw fit. She was just learning to hunt with the other lionesses. In her eagerness, ‘Riyya got ahead of the rest of the group. Instead of waiting for the more experienced members to catch up she went ahead and tried on her own. She tried to take down a wildebeest and managed to get a fairly secure neck hold. In the thrashing, both she and the wildebeest fell down a small hidden ravine.
The wildebeest protected her mostly on the landing but she hit her head on the way down. She awoke several hours and found the wildebeest had broken its neck. For an hour ‘Riyya called and called for her family. She was sure her fellow huntresses were looking for her. They never came. After feasting on the wildebeest the long climb to freedom began. There was plenty of boulders for her to scramble up to reach the hole in the ground where she could get out.
She started walking home once she was out. At first she thought it was the sun’s glare affecting her eyes, but by sun’s set she still hadn’t gotten home. She could no longer see and her pride had moved on without her; they believed she’d died. So she started to slowly wander, feeling with each paw before she placed it.

L’envoi is a chilling lion with a cool personality; cool not in the ‘cold’ sense, but in that ‘awesome’ feel. He gets along with just about everyone and any specie. For him, it is all about friends rather than enemies. L’envoi is always ready for a good time.
He enjoys his work of gathering food and animals for the pride. An apt learner makes him the ideal student. L’envoi has, he found out, a knack for herding live animals to the pride. His hunting skills aren’t that bad either. Learning the plants has taken him slightly longer. He likes to be sent out for items; meat, live animals, or plants he does his job cheerfully and willingly.
History:
L’envoi ran across the Pepo'porojo, quite by accident, when he was a juvenile, almost young adult. At first he was intrigued by the beliefs of the lions. He stayed to learn more. Picking to become a gatherer he felt as the safest route. Anyone could hunt right? Initially he was surprised to learn that gatherers did more than just hunt. They brought back live sacrifices.
Much to his delight, L’envoi found himself fitting right in and learning the ways of the pride. They have become very thoroughly a part of him. He feels very comfortable in the pride now.

Personality:
Shenu has finally grown out of his arrogant and stuck up ways. He realizes that the merit of a lion is what he or she can do; not who his or her parents where. Learning these hard lessons of life has made him a bit quieter and contemplative. He now works diligently for the pride in his position as an Artisan.
History:
As a cub, Shenu-Hotep felt everyone should look up to him because of his parentage; except maybe the Pharaoh. His airs got him into troubles countless times. Getting older did not make things better. In fact, it got worse. Shenu would pick fights and boss others around. Trusting in his parent's names to keep him safe. This ended up working for a time. As an adol though he met his match. The adult male had had enough of his back mouth and let him know it.
That became the turning point for Shenu. He realized that he didn't provide anything important for the pride, and was a serious drain on it. Taking a sudden and serious interest in his apprenticeship, the young lion put his heart into becoming something he could be proud of.
Being the son of a god, Shenu-Hotep has visions. Due to his arrogance in his youth the lion may only see if something is about to happen that will cause another lion social embarrassment. It never works for himself.

History:
Malaya and her six siblings were born from an agreement between Sliabh and the rogue Zenobia. Most of them would return with their father to his pride, the K'A, but one cub stayed with their mother. When the cubs were big enough, the six set off with their father to return to the pride. Malaya settled in well, but was shy around the sicker lions. Shortly into her juvenile-hood, the female contracted the plague. She was very sick for several weeks; being one of the few lucky ones she recovered to become a carrier.
Reaching adolescence, Malaya spent time with each profession. Finally she decided upon being a Scout.

She does have a brighter side, even though it rarely shows. Slausale will need a staunch friend to show her the rainbow through the clouds. Her one sticking point is her limp. She believes no cheetah boy will want her because she isn't fast enough.
History:
She was born in the Rogue Lands. Her mother did the best she could to care for her daughter, but life was tough. Slausale often remembers going hungry as a cub. When she was a juvenile, she broke her right back leg running. Her mother worked feverishly to save her. Time passed and her leg did heal; she has had a semi-severe limped ever since.
Slausale did her best to learn hunting. In the end, however, she had to focus on catching slower moving prey. During her adolescence she had a chance encounter with a 'seer'. They predicted that her life would be difficult and full of trouble. Ever since she has carried that prediction around like a curse.

Personality:
Desher is a relaxed lion; secure in his semi-old age. Being sympathetic, he tries to do good things for others. Sometimes things don’t always turn out that way or isn’t accepted as good help. He means well, but can get carried away.
To Desher, family is a sense of duty. A charge he will carry through even if it doesn’t sit well with him. He thinks a proper female is one who is respectful of her mate and listens to his will.
History:
He was chosen by former queen Aset-nusu to leave the pride with the group lead by the Elder Tanafriti when plague and vultures decended upon the pride. Included in the group was his brother and his brother's mate.
Desher-bik and his only brother had a serious rivalry when they were cubs. By the time they reached adulthood, it bordered on hate. When his brother and mate died tragically, he felt that it was his duty to take on their daughter as his own. Her spirited ways have left the lion resigned to his position.
Now his niece is a young adult and the group has returned to their homelands. He had first thought to gaze upon the familiar temple and remember. Much to his delight, they have found the pride intact and in celebration.
Life went on, and Desher resumed his duties. Patrolling the pride's lands and searching for those in trouble. He rescued several lost souls from the clutches of the desert. One of them, a blind lioness by the name Hokulani. He was facinated by her stubborn resistance and independence. The two grew close and mated. Eventually a litter of seven girls was born.

Damien is a lion that takes everything seriously and in deadly earnest. The horrors he's witnessed have shown him what a deadly game life is. As such, he never goofs off or plays around. He is always on alert for things that could go wrong.
For abandoning his family in their time of greatest need, Damien blames himself. He believes there is a darkness that lurks within him. One that caused him to go watch the jackels instead of his family. Now he is always on guard for that part of himself; fearing that it lurks, waiting for him to let down his defenses.
History:
His past is a subject that he never speaks of. He had everything he could ever have wanted. A loving mate, and playful cubs. Yet still it felt as though something was missing. A group of jackels living in a section of his territory caught his attention; they were building a den. Damien found himself spending more and more time observing the jackels instead of with his family.
One morning he returned from watching the family of stripe-sided jackels, only to find horror. His mate and cubs were slaughtered. Devastated by the lost he lost his mind. Damien returned to the jackel home; blaming them for the lost of his family he killed the parents and two kits. To never forget the lost, he took the pelts of all four and now wears them.
He wandered the rogue lands, often scorned by those disgusted by his pelts. The event also triggered his Seer abilities. By touching someone, he is able to 'See' and pinpoint the nearest, live specimen of whatever animal they are thinking of.
Damien is trying to move on past his tragedy. Looking for something completely different, he came across the Likno tis Zois. He is looking for form a harem based upon remembrance. As long as they have something they want to remember, they would be acceptable to the harem.
While out roaming Damien stumbled across a lone cub. After talking to her a little bit, he discovered she was alone. Unable to leave the young cub alone to probably die he offered to take her back and adopt her until they could find her mother.

Gazini is grateful to the pack that took in a stray, injured pup. Somewhat of a serious dog around adults, he does his best to repay them. He likes to hunt, but his favorite activity is pupsitting. Gazini will play endlessly with energetic pups until nap time, then cuddle with them in a giant ball of heads, legs, and tails. He looks forward to someday finding a mate of his own and having a litter of pups.
History:
Ingwe'Gazini was rescued from the mouth of a leopard that had strayed into pack territory when he was just a tiny pup. He was taken in by a young couple who had just had a small litter of their own. His wounds were tended, and he was raised in the ways of the pack.
He's not completely blind in his left eye, but there is significant vision loss.
