Personality: Kind-hearted and gentle, despite her more rugged appearance. She can be skittish sometimes too, due to being a magnet for bad luck.
History: Xing is the daughter of the goddess of crocodiles (though she doesn't ever broadcast it to others). Born and raised in the rogue lands, and with a long string of bad luck following her, Xing has become wary of others. The only person she really keeps close is her bird companion, Yu.
Why do they wish to join? Xing is ready to settle somewhere in the relative safety of a pride. The Ela is neither too hot nor too cold, and the people are friendly enough while still being guarded towards outsiders that she feels like she’d be comfortable living here.

Personality: Confident, some would say cocky, single minded fellow, who loves to run and jump
History: Born in the rogue lands to a perfectly normal family it wasn’t long before Lee decided he wanted to run through life at full tilt. Of course when you’re done running what do you come home to? The answer is nothing. Having left his parents as an adolescent he soon found himself lonely and missing a place to call home.
Why do they wish to join? Looking to have a home to settle down in. Would greatly enjoy running through the plains!

Personality: Asha is determined to find a new home, she is still healing from the loss of her homeland and her own people. She wants a new chapter in her life. She is strong, confident. A little awkward in some situations.
History: Asha was born into a pride that was ravaged by fire, the survivors scattered through the rogue lands. She made an attempt to rebuild her home but was unable to do so. So she had been searching for a new place to call home ever since.
Why do they wish to join? Asha likes the ways of the Ela a place to call home a place to build a family but moving around never clinging to something for too long. She wants a place where she can feel safe again.

Personality: While headstrong and stubborn, Cera cares deeply for those around her, even if her pride stops her from admitting it. Her pride stops her from admitting a lot, including when she's wrong - At least, at first. She does eventually admit to it, but she remains stubborn in her conviction in the mean time.
History: Born to a small traveling group seeking a better life, Cera grew up on the proverbial road. While her 'pride' found a home in a lush valley, the wandering bug had been planted and Cera went seeking something... Else. She found and joined two different prides, one of them heavily nomadic as they traveled endlessly around a mountain, but both disbanded, leaving her once again a rogue and too proud to go back to her family and say "I failed."
Why do they wish to join? Cera seeks a permanent home more to her choosing(As in, the overall pride, she doesn't mind leaving the Clan she goes to up to fate) and liking, while also allowing her to satisfy the need to roam - She quite liked the one pride that circled their mountain, because even though they followed the same general path, it was constant movement and the period between visits to a place meant time for that location to change and look new while still being familiar - Something she can see in the Ela'wadiyi.

Name of Lion/ess: Ekuweme

Personality: Eku use to be brave and protectie of those around him but these days the male seems to mostly just..exist. His world shattered many years ago and he is still learning to rebuild himself.
History: Son of one of the old Jini-msemi bloodlines, Eku's life had always been a happy one. His mother, step-father and many, many siblings lived easily in the swamps. One his adolescent journey he even found and fell in love with the stunning Lioness Eshe who would later be known as Kipenzi. They started a family and life seemed good when the fire the razed their ancestral swamplands destroyed everything. His mother died of her wounds leaving Eku prostrate with grief. His step-father, unable to handle losing the love of his life left them. Kipenzi couldn't handle the changes in Eku and so she too left. His children were all grown and gone so Eku has taken to wandering.
Why do they wish to join? He wants more than anything to be part of a family again, to have those he can rely on and be relied on. A new start.

Clan: For ease of certing, I'd prefer Shadow (since Xing is there and I do plan on them eventually marrying)
Personality: A fairly gentle, patient soul who likes to take things at a slow pace. His voice is as soft as his mannerisms, but it has a strength to it that commands attention when he speaks. As a son of the God of the Cursed, he knows his way around a bad situation, and just desires some stability in his life.
History: Qi is a wanderer who doesn't talk much of his past. As an adult, he mostly just traveled the rogue lands, learning what he could of the world and trying to find somewhere to call home.
Why do they wish to join? He has desired a home for a while, and has chosen to try and make one here.

Personality: She's a little shy and anxious, but she's working on it.
History: in her previous pride she was judged for losing her children. She feels guilt easily, and it drove her away from her previous mate quite a bit. When the pride disbanded, she wallowed around the lands for a bit but moved on when she couldn't reconcile with her mate.
Why do they wish to join? A change of scenery, a new start, and hopefully a new future.

Personality: Young and a little fool hardy. Current favorite thing in the world is food. Any kind, anywhere. Second favorite thing is nap comas.
History: Sahar was born to a single mother in a litter of four daughters. They share a close bond, but one day Sahar met two adolescent lions who allowed her to play hide and seek with her. Well, evidently Sahar is really good because the teens never would find her. In her efforts, however, Sahar became lost and wandering further and further from her family.
Why do they wish to join? Sahar is now completely lost and slowly losing strength from dehydration and hunger. If permitted, she will wander into the Ela and be discovered by seasoned mother Ta’la’la who will take her in to be raised with her current litter.

Personality: A very gentle giant Dooley was born in the firekin but has always been a soft touch. He is always smiling and very rarely raises his voice., The only time he truly gets angry if cubs are hurt or threatened or if his mate is wronged in some way
History: Born as a huria in the firekin Dooley never really fit in with the fighter lifestyle. He was given a jackal puppy as a cub and has looked after her his whole life, she is his best friend. He left without much of a fuss and a few years later he met Kaelyn. He looked after her when she was injured and soon fell head over paws for her. He followed her doggedly to the stormborn where he happily settled in to being a ‘house husband’ though he used his firekin training to teach youngsters how to look after themselves and how to survive in harsh terrain. When the new laws of the stormborn came to pass he felt betrayed by their home, especially since they had been born in a place that discriminated against their fur colour. He and Kaelyn have struck out on their own encouraging their cubs to follow if they wished.
Why do they wish to join? Always the pacifist Dooley suggested a few places to Kaelyn for them to settle down in, having heard much of the ela he and Kae decided this was a place they could settle and not be discriminated against.

Personality: A sweet bouncy little lioness who loves life. She is tiny compared to the rest of her massive family. She remembers nothing of her life before kaelyn and Dooley took her in and considers them her only family.
History: Born in the Bonelands Waphupha was taken by a hyena to be ‘lunch’. Dooley and Kaelyn found the tiny cub with the hyena and once they dispatched the creature they claimed the cub as their own she was their first daughter and after the family discussion she followed after her mother and father.

Personality: Gentle and naive Aurelia is a noice bouncy lioness, very large like her parents she is very much her fathers daughter.
History: Born in the stormborn to Dooley & Kaelyn she is the youngest daughter of their only litter. Very much like her father personality wise she is a gentle giant finding no pleasure in hurting anyone. She has a jackal of her own who is her best friend and companion, he is also like her nanny watching over the sweet and silly lioness.
