Personality: Tukutu is happy being a lackey of Mafa, though sometimes he gets frustrated and bites back at her. He's laid back, loves to sleep, and doesn't much give a damn what others think about him. He's got a little 'thing' for Mafa, but more of the 'old' Mafa that only he knows about. Of course, he would never tell her. Once Mafa disappeared, Tukutu was sort of forced to poll together the resources that the Mava'Bunda had to keep it going. He produced a new heir (with some spares) with the bone collector Baki, and from that the future of the pack was restored. He died when Mafa's son, Mbezi, attacked him in the midst of a war with the Pridelands.

Personality: Tawa'di is more or less a fatherly figure to all of the Ela'wadiyi. He is a kind soul, one that just wants life in his small pride. Though he isn't technically the leader of the pride, he does his best to help everyone that he comes across. He isn't without his mistakes, and sometimes tries to be a bit too helpful, which can be a bit smothering. All in all, he is an ancient, living history of the Ela'wadiyi.
He watched his pride grow into it's former glory, the strength returning to the point where he knew he wasn't going to be required around anymore. He knew better, too, that he couldn't live forever. Or could he?
Unbeknown to him, there was a God that lingered among their ranks, and not the Goddess of the Wind. Kimbilio, the God of Refugees, knew in his heart that it was the right thing to do. Kimbilio gave up his status as a god, passing it onto the soul of Tawa'di before it would disappear forever.
Tawa'di awoke within the god realm, unsure as to exactly what happened, but knowing that now, he really would live forever. Torn, he lingered within the Haven, unsure as to when, or if, he would return home.
Once he had gained more confidence in himself, he returned home, still unsure as to how his people would accept him, and what had happened to him.

Personality: Being ignored and shunned her life, Nyo doesn't really trust others very well. She's very brooding, holds onto grudges, and thinks the world is against her. Even with all of these bad habits, she still wishes to the stars that she'll find another that will love her and want to be with her. She does indeed want a family, but it's doubtful with her outtake on life. She has no self-esteem and is more of a lurker then anything else.
After many hardships in her life, she has somewhat achieved what she wanted. While she never found one that loved her, she was able to have a family. Only two of her children returned in the end, but having one last child, she offers her world to her daughter that looks just like her.

Personality: Very reserved, and quiet. She doesn't like to talk very much about her past, and where she's from. She does get bouts of shyness, and has been known to bolt when an uncomfortable situation arises. She has a small compassion for young cubs, especially ones in situations that they do not care for.
History: After quite a long run from her family's pride, Bara was able to convince her sister over to her side. Before the remainder of the pride's guard was sent to kill the both of them, Bara returned home and challenged her father. Winning the duel, she crippled her father so he could do no damage to anyone left alive, and dispersed the pride, most of all what was left an embarrassment to it's origin. The slaves disappeared, and Barafu was content. Dragging along her parents, sister, a few of her nieces, they wandered for a new home, not wanting to live on the tainted ground of the old Wind Walkers. In these travels, Barafu came across Ishida, a stirikng younger male that had all the vigor in life she had abandoned for so long. After a difficult courtship, he won her heart and they soon found themselves living within the Refilwe'Oluchi, a cause close to both of their hearts.
Recently, Barafu just had her first litter, and couldn't be more overjoyed.

Personality: Very shy. Fupa is scared to death of anyone that isn't a hyena, and is still very untrustworthly of hyenas. She is a very smart girl, but her fear of life overshadows everything about her.
History: Her story, how I won her in a story contest:
Heyna mothers are something of a different kind. While the females are rough, harsh towards one another, and very controlling, the mothers normally are much more patient with their children, enough so that they can raise their children, especially the girls, to one day become strong leaders for their packs. Commonly, the mothers would gather the girls around and tell them stories, stories to toughen then up against the real world, to learn that life wasn't as great as it seemed to be, and also that betraying your pack was deadly.
This story was one commonly told to the younglings, before their bedtime, to make them think twice about changing the lives that they were set to have...
"Once, there was a young female hyena pup that was born with such an odd colour for a coat. Her coat was of the purest white, of a sun-dried bone. All the adults whispered amonst themselves, wondering if she was one send from the gods, or if she was even something pure at all. The hyena girl, called Fupa'jinigutua (or "the Bone Setter Spirit") by her mother, was viewed in her pup-hood as something of a seer for the hyena, from their god of Death. Thinking her too young to actually assist them in their daily life, the adults left the girl grow, hoping to see some sort of gifts from her. Fupa's mother was an odd one, not anything seer-like, but a few of the fanatic ones in the pack viewed this as a chance for Fupa to gain the seer-abilities that they believed her mother lacked.
Fupa did her best to grow up like any of the other hyena pups, but her white pelt made things harder for her. The moonlight stuck her out of the dark graveyard like a beacon, so she couldn't make any sort of moves at night with the pack. She reverted to rolling around in the dirt to change her pelt, but the adults viewed this as an insult to her believed calling, and chided her for doing so. In that hyena are normally out at night, Fupa was confined to staying behind with the older hyena, the ones that were too crazy or old to be of any help. Here Fupa learned of stories of the outside world, of hunters, living elephants, and of lions that didn't always hate hyena. These stories snuck into Fupa's head, and corrupted her into thinking that the way of the hyena wasn't the true one.
She quickly grew into a lanky juvenile, her believed abilities to be of help to the pack still undeveloped. Most of the sneering adults believed her to be fake, like her mother, and left her to stay with the crazed hyenas. Her mother, indifferent to what the rest of the pack said, stroked her daughter into thoughts of being a seer, of deciet and lies that normally were filled within each of the hyena. The clashing ideas of her mother, to help the pack and gain them strenth, and of the crazed, older hyena, of life outside, where she might even feel a bit more useful, made Fupa's head ache. The more fanatical adults believe her to be seeing things, as Fupa constantly started muttering to herself about what she should do with her life.
Reaching her adolescence, Fupa was brought before the Alpha and her mate to show what she had learned, and if she did truly contain these abilities that she claimed to have. Fupa, having no abilities of the sort, tried to lie her way out of it, claiming that she indeed did have the seer-abilities, of speakings from the god of Death, and was told to prove of it. Fupa, not knowing anything of the outside world, again spread her lies and told the Hyena to move closer to the Pirdelands, to where there would be a great herd of gazelle to pick off of, for many were sick with a disease that only they were prone to. Taking this account as truth, the Alpha lead her hunters off to inspect, and see if it was of the truth. Fupa, exhausted from her lies and coy nature, went back to where her mother lay, waiting to see if in any way her lies were close to the truth.
The Alpha and her hunters discovered that there indeed was a herd of sick gazelle, and killed plenty enough for a feast. A feast to attest to the new seer that was in their pack. A Seer to help them raid the lands of other packs, to bring strength to them, and to discover that indeed their was a Seer, and the god of Death was in their favor.
The early morning passed, the day passing over also. As the hyena's wakened to meet their dusk, they discovered that the sickness was not something that would only affect the gazelle, but infected all of the Hyena that had eaten off of the flesh from the sick gazelle. The Alpha, furious that she had been decieved, claimed the death of the false-Seer, of Fupa. Scared for her life, Fupa tried to fight off her attackers, but was unsuccessful. Her back legs had been torn off, her pure white body slowly being stained by the blood that was always found on pure white bone. She was thrown into the land, barely alive, and unable to live. She survived just long enough to find a hunter, a human, shoot her in the heart. She had learned in the hard way that life outside the graveyard, outside of the pack is an evil one. One full of lies, of temptation to lead others astray, to kill your brethren.
It is said that she haunts the lands outside of the graveyard, crying with blood filled eyes, bloody-formed hind legs that never stop bleeding, and a heart with a hole the size of a star.
My children, THAT is what happens to one that betrays their trust. I pray that you will never think about leaving us, for your destiny was predetermined, for why else would you be born unto us? Such a strong pack with a strong history...I bid you sleep, and make sure to watch your back when out for a hunt... for the bone setter shall surely try to drag you into her misery."

Personality: Latifu is definately a tomboy. She always wants to win, always wants to be tough. Abandoned at a small age, Latifu never worried about being alone or without a family. She instead took charge of her life, and toughened up when she realized just how hard life can be on your own.
History: After being abandoned at a young age, Latifu explored as much of the land as her little paws could carry her. There was one area, where she found another cub by the name of Bakari, that she really liked. She would visit every once in a while, to see if Bakari was there. Most of the time, he wasn't, but when he was, Latifu was filled with joy to see her only real friend. Now being an adult, she has decided to try and live in the pride that Bakari resides in, hoping to have a home that she can call her own.

Personality: Halili is a free-loving soul that loves everything and everyone she comes across. She remembers nothing of her past, and only looks to the future. She is very enthusiastic in learning, even if it takes her a while to really remember anything. She speaks in third-person, more in habit then anything else. Slowly, she's starting to talk in first-person, but it seems more like a slip-up then anything.
History: Halili had ran across the ambitious Majani when they were just cubs. They stuck together, Halili clueless as to Majani's future plans for them together. As they grew, and moved into the jungle, the two of them slowly grew a love very pure. Halili had loveed where she liveed, and never wanted to leave. Sadly, things didn't stay perfect for her. The two of them grew apart, and then disappeared. Halili still looked for him, but she couldn't find him. She left, staying in the jungle was too painful for her. She wandered the rogue lands, Kenna still faithfully by her side as she tried to find another place to fit in. She stumbled across the Aka'mleli lands, lions that were bonded to avians of all kinds. Instantly feeling like she fit, she befriended the pride's sole healer and became her assistant, happy to have a new place to start her life over.
She ended up having a fling with a handsome, older lion, and though he left (which was hard on her), she was overjoyed to have another source of love in her life; children.
