Meta Time!
(April 12th, 2016)

First of all I would like to remind everyone that the Virtues Auctions are still ongoing and it's been so exciting! As that winds down I would also like to take the time to let everyone know that our summer meta is getting closer!

Meta sign ups will start on May 1st!
The meta Chapter will officially start on Monday, May 16th!

As always, when the meta chapter starts growths and new RPs will be closed. So everyone should start thinking about whether they need to or would like to get growths in before they are suspended until the end of the meta.

Please note that growth timers are not waived, so no exceptions will be made. If a character or owner has not met their timer they will not be able to put in for growth.


Growing to Legendary!

The more stage 4 characters we get the closer we get to having our first Legendary growths. This is super exciting but I wanted to clear up a very important part of growing to Legendary.

Legendary growth quests are done with staff! They will be RP format, so growth solos are not required for growth before applying.

If you have any questions about metas or growing to Legendary, feel free to ask Suhuba or ask in the FAQ or main thread.

Breeding Updates!

Hey everyone! heart I hope everyone had a blast with our Virtues event!

Now that it's over, I would like to let everyone know that the breeding system has been adjusted. The rules have remained the same, but the requirements have been altered. Please see our breeding threads for more information. (All types of breeding have been adjusted except for Baby Adoption.)

New Staff!
(April 30th, 2016)

As most of you heard earlier this week in the AIM blast chat, we have a new staff member on board!

Please welcome Saint Sergio as Base Artist/Colorist! Saint will be able to offer customs, work on breedings, and help with youngling growths as well as collab with other artists.

Saint Sergio has already been added to the growth request thread and is open for requests!

(Also note that if you would like to join the AIM chat, all you have to do is send Suhuba a PM with your screen name and we can add you to the fun heart )

META SIGN-UPS HAVE OPENED!
(May 1st, 2016)

The people of Tendaji were clamoring to get onto the grounds. It had been such a long time since the last tournament, and now that the wars had ended and lives had gone back to normal, everyone was ready for some fun and play!

The announcement had gone out: there would be a new Tournament in Tendaji! And this time it was to be hosted in Oba. The King had opened up his home lands for everyone who was interested. There would be prizes, there would be goods and food and vendors from all over ready to strike up a deal with whoever willing.

Who would join in the competitions this time?

That's right! The long-awaited Meta is a tournament! This meta will include tournament tiers based on stage, but it also will include a Non-Battle ORP for those who wish to watch the festivities or take a break between rounds!

Sign-ups last until May 16th, so head on over to the sign-up thread to make sure you get spot. And remember, no new RPs, growths, or battles can be made when the Meta begins, so make sure to start them before the 16th!

Battle and System Updates
(May 9th, 2016)

Hey everyone, those little updates that we've been talking about for a couple days now are finally ready to be released!

Dodging
Dodging has been revamped and has new equations and ranges! Please make sure to see the new way to attempt dodging in the Battle Basics thread.

Beast Battle and Crafting
Both of these systems have been edited in how EXP is earned. Please see this post in beast battling and this post in the item crafting guide to see how much easier it is to figure out the EXP gain.

Boosters!
Boosters have been given a price change! Please make sure to note what their new prices are and to use the right cost when buying them.


All of these changes go into effect as of right now! If you are currently mid battle, feel free to use the new system, or to wrap up with the old version of dodging.

Fauna Added!

We have finally been able to get around to making more fauna for Yael! Hop on over to the Flora and Fauna page for more cool critters!

And all fauna listed in the post are also battle-able so their stats can be found in the Beast Stats thread heart

Staff!
(May 15th, 2016)

A lot of rearranging has gone on in the last few weeks and we're happy to announce some new positions!

jayoku is now the official Battle Manager!
She will be the head of updating stats, overseeing battles, beast battles, and crafting with help from her lowly assistant Kana.

Smerdle is now a Base Artist / Colorist!
Smerdle will be able to take on youngling growths, customs, and the part of colorists for regular growths/customs/events.

Meta!

The meta starts tomorrow! This chapter as you might have read is a Mini-Chapter. What this means is that it is definitely not as heavy as a normal chapter might be, and typically shorter.

Sign ups officially close as soon as the meta chapter starts up, so tomorrow until about early evening will be the last chance to sign up.

Growths will close tomorrow at 9 pm EST regardless of whether the meta has opened or not by that time. (Kana can't guarantee when she will be on to open meta, but at least owners know exactly when growths will be down.)

Updates!

After much discussion between Kana and Jay, we've decided that Meta mini-chapters have some distinct differences from normal metas.

While the majority of things such as growths will remain closed, owners will still be able to RP!

Main meta chapters will still be closed to regular RPing unless otherwise stated.

It's always tough to see someone go, but robot kitten will be stepping down as growth manager. As always RL comes first, and while we're sad to see her go, we're happy that she'll be able to spend her free time with us as an owner.

Battle System
(May 26th, 2016)

As the Tournament has unfolded staff have been working doubly hard to correct certain aspects of the battle system. Once the tournament is over, we will be suspending all battles and beast battles until the updates are in place. If you have any open battles currently, please either work on finishing them or mark them for deletion. We will be moving all battles once the updates are ready to be released. heart

Until then, all stat related items are going to be suspended from purchase. This includes stat boosters, weapon accessories, and fairground battle items. Those who have purchased them already, please know that these items are only temporarily suspended and will be available for use after the updates. Those who haven't had a chance yet, also know that the fairgrounds will open back up after the updates for a short period to compensate for the inconvenience.

Battle Update!
(June 14th, 2016)

The battle update is here! There are a lot of changes, way more than can be included in this little announcement box so an entire thread has been dedicated to the update.

Update Thread

Please make sure you head on over and read about all the changes to how stats and battles are run. This change effects everyone, though only those currently with stats will have to take action.

Those with stats will be asked to please redistribute their points according to the new system, so keep your eyes on which characters need updating!

Growths will open once the dust settles and stats are finished. This will be announced when they officially open. This will also open up the battle system again as well as purchasing battle items.
