Roxas walked into the pokemon center, though it wasn't so much of a center as it was a small pharmacy. The blonde frowned at this discovery, hoping they at least had some salve or something she could rub on her hand. " 'Scuse me," she addressed the man at the counter rather nonchalantly. "mind taking a look at my hand?" She held out her left hand for the pharmacist to inspect and he cried out in alarm. "Goodness! What in the world happened?!" He moved to grab a bottle of some weird smelling goop off the shelf, it had the brand name Natural Remedies and a picture of what looked like a Rawst Berry on it. Roxas wasn't very familiar with medicinals, but she figured she should probably pay attention so she could do this stuff herself sooner or later. "What, like I'm supposed to know?" Roxas grumbled, which earned her an odd look from the pharmacist. "Well... Yes...? With an injury like this one would expect you to remember how you got it. With the burns and the bite marks, it looks like your Fennekin just got a little feisty." Roxas narrowed her eyes. "Zelda is perfectly well behaved, and I don't remember when I got this injury. Maybe I was dealing with an overheated computer and didn't notice, I don't know."
It was a lie, but Roxas refused to allow anyone go badmouthing her little princess. The pharmacist decided to just drop the subject, carefully applying the salve to Roxas' hand before wrapping it up in medical tape. Roxas looked her hand over with a nod of satisfaction. "Alright, I'm out." Roxas said curtly, turning to leave. "Er, miss...? What about your other hand?" He asked, since they were both burnt, her left more than her right but still it should probably be treated. Roxas didn't really want to stay and get all doctored up though. "What about it?" She answered with a clear lack of interest, making no move to quit heading back towards the door. Cypher hovered over to block her path, beeping worriedly. "Master you probably should get your other hand looked at...." It insisted, in spite of Roxas not being able to fully understand. She would get the gestures well enough.
Roxas took a good long look at Cypher, but then finally seemed to concede, turning back to the counter to get her right hand rubbed with salve and wrapped up. She didn't say another word though, silently watching the poor pharmacist boy work with sharp, intimidating eyes. He squirmed under her gaze like a Durant under a magnifying glass, finishing the job efficiently under a minute or two but it had felt like an hour. He was practically sweating nervously after he'd finished, but Roxas retrieved her hand and head towards the door, pausing briefly to mutter "Thanks...." before she left.

Cypher bobbed up and down happily now that it's 'precious master' had been taken care of. Zelda couldn't help but roll her eyes at the Porygon, but she supposed she was glad Roxas' hands were wrapped and healing. The blonde walked across Aquacorde's bridge slowly, then stopped to admire the river of water beneath them. "Huh.... That's a pretty view." Roxas mused, tapping the third pokeball at her waist to release a fairly wildly colored Noibat. "Rave, check this out." She addressed her companion and jerked her chin out to the crystal clear water. The little noibat chirped happily and settled herself on Roxas' shoulder, but then noticed Zelda and turned her head to one side, ears buzzing with curiosity. "Oh right, Rave, this is Zelda, Zelda, Rave." Roxas introduced the two. "Heya~ Rave greeted the Fennekin, who eyed her lazily and gave a light nod of courtesy before nestling herself deeper into Roxas' arms.
Roxas carefully maneuvered her hands to type a few things into her Xtransciever without disturbing Zelda too much, pulling up a holographic map. "Viola is in Santalune City, just beyond this forest up ahead. We should get some training in and see if we're up to the challenge, what'dya think?" Roxas offered her little rag tag team. "Ew. You don't expect me to actually battle in that dinky little muddy forest...? I'll get dirty." Zelda complained. "Mm sucks for you~" Rave teased lightheartedly, and Zelda shot the Noibat a heated look. "Say that again to my face you sparkly little punk...!" She growled, and Cypher rushed over to the two, squirming worriedly as Rave laughed joyously, only further aggravating the Fennekin. "P-please miss Zelda, don't burn Master Roxas again...!" Roxas chuckled at the light quarrel going on with her pokemon, stroking Zelda's fur soothingly. Rave was typically pretty quiet, but she had a mischievous side to her at times, innocent and all in good fun, but still mischievous for a pokemon as oversensitive as Zelda was. Zelda eventually calmed down and resorted to grumbling in Roxas' arms after the bit of consoling and together the three made their way into Santalune Forest.

○ ○ ○ Maiku walked into Aquacorde with Furea, slumping in defeat. She wasn't responding to anything he said to try and start a conversation. Furea wasn't making any sort of attempt to get to know him. None at all. He'd just have to prove to her he was a worthy trainer. As he approached the Pokémon Center to sit and send a message to his parents, he was stopped by a dorky-looking delivery girl who was admittedly adorable to look at. "You must be Maiku. I have a delivery for you." She handed him the small box before skipping off to deliver her other packages. Maiku walked into the Pokémon Center and took a seat. Two PokéBalls. That was all the package had. Maiku threw the packaging away and sat back down before releasing the Pokémon inside. A Litwick and a Sylveon. Well, that was neat, but who sent them?

As they walked, they were challenged by a Weedle. Deciding not to use Furea, he sent out Soku instead. And, the Litwick seemed more than happy to fight for him.

Maybe he could get lucky and try catching it without actually fighting? He felt both Furea and Soku needed to be reprimanded for arguing so much. Taking out a ball, Maiku tossed it at the Lilligant. It sucked her in, and it shook....It failed. Lilligant escaped the ball and looked around curiously."Damn....I'm not going to take any chances. Soku, think you can take her on?""Wick!"

Taking a seat at the cafe, it didn't take long for a waitress to come along and ask Ace what he'd like. He flashed a smile and motioned towards the man from earlier. "I'll take a coffee; black. Can I get some fresh water and Pokemon food for my companions as well?" The woman nodded, holding up her pen and pad close to her chest. "Right away, monsieur." She replied, then quickly scuttled off. Ace watched the woman quickly head into the building, a hint of nervousness in her walk. He laughed mentally to himself, happy to see even in these commoner clothes he still held his natural charm.
Leaning back in his chair, the male pulled out the phone-like device from earlier and began flicking through it in search of something. After about a minute or so, he placed it down and glanced over towards the two starters he'd received from Sycamore. The fox seemed somewhat high and mighty, holding up her snout to any of the boys attempts to gain her affection. It was rather odd seeing them like that, but of course Derosa wasn't having any of that, she wanted all the attention to be on her, not on that fox.
It was then a Zigzagoon came out, and quickly began to give Derosa just what she'd been trying to get, affection and attention, but it was being more pushy than she'd of liked, and despite her attempts to push the Zigzagoon away, it wouldn't listen. Fia stepped in and quickly sent an Ember at the racoon, knocking it away. The fox joined up with Derosa giving her a confident grin. Derosa's jealousy didn't all together fad away, but she appreciated the fox's help.

Sharing the attention for the time being, Derosa and Fia joined each other up on top of the table when the food came, sharing it with Amarantha as well. Nova and Luce both rested by each other, not really to sure what the issue between the girls had been. besides the other Forakie, Fennekin and Chespin, Fia is the only Pokemon he really knew, so his attention was going to her because of this. Luce just seemed to like the heat she gave off, more then actually feeling anything for her. Derosa just seemed really... unapproachable, though she is quite pretty. Poor Sidra, to big to sit on the table, rested on the ground and nibbled ad the grass that grew between the stone, her soft white body moving every so often as she noticed another patch of grass to snatch up.
Ace in the meantime sipped at his coffee. It wasn't as good as the ship's coffee, but it wasn't undrinkable either. Watching his small collection of Pokemon hold conversations with one another as they ate, Ace had to ponder just where this path was going to take him. For the first time in his life he was.... free, sort of. He didn't have to appeal to anyone. Though, the did enjoy the attention, it was tiresome some of the time. He also didn't have to appear strong. Having this group of Pokemon he certainly looked like he knew how to use a Pokeball, but as far as power went, these were saplings compared to his Great Oak of a team. There was potential however.

Foregoing a refill, Ace simply sat at the table and contently watched his Pokemon eat and drink. In his mind he went over his mission several times debating just how he was going to go about this. The most they knew about Team Flare was they bore red suits and odd hairstyles, nothing more. Thus far they'd done nothing to suspicious or worthy of noting. As far as who their leader was, there were several candidates, but nothing to prove one over the other. What was more interesting to Ace however was the tales of the Legendary Pokemon that often circulated around Kalos. Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde and Diance were of the top four, Diance being the highest. To think a Legendary Pokemon that could create Diamonds, how perfectly suiting for a member of Team Royale, let along himself, the Ace of Diamonds. His lips curled as he thought about it some more, but then the grin vanished as he though about his majesties. They'd sooner have him give up the legend to one of them. While he didn't outwardly mind to much, it was still a bit disappointing.
Standing up, he motioned towards Derosa, who'd turned to look back at Ace. "Let's turn in for the night." He stated, quickly returning Sidra first, who'd wondered quite a bit away. Returning Nova and Luce next, he held down his hand for Derosa to rest on his shoulder along with Amarantha. Fia in the meantime hopped down from the table and took the lead. "Not a fan of Pokeballs are you?" Ace asked. The fox turned up her nose and continued to prance forward. Arching a brow he offered a grin. Well, seemed he another princess on his hands. Paying for meal, the man then left, heading for the Pokemon center. This was yet another adjustment he was forced to make. A Pokemon center..., the last time he was inside one was when they took over Phima and burnt it to the ground, back in Amarantha.
As they began down some stairs, another wild Pokemon popped it's head out. This time is was a Bunnelby. Ace's nose quickly scrunched up. He knew these rodents well, they were dirty creatures, and nothing he'd care to even give the time of day. "Fia, quickly deal with it." Ace ordered. Of course the fox happily obliged, liking the feeling she'd gotten earlier when knocking out that Zigzagoon. Shooting off an Ember, the poor rabbit-like Pokemon fainted in an instant. The wild ones around here were fairly weak, but the sensation of winning was starting to get to Fia's head. Regardless a nod and grin from Ace was all she needed.

Upon entering the Pokemon Center, Ace responded upon custom and quickly offered over his Pokemon to the person in charge of the establishment. While not an official Pokemon Center, their equipment appeared to be on the same scale as that used at the actual building. The rooms were also on less supply, but it appeared he was in luck with one room recently being opened up for occupation. Taking it, the male went up to his room after his Pokemon had been looked over.
Up in his room, the male pulled off his shirt and loosened the bandages around his neck. Releasing all his obtained Pokemon the male rested down upon the only bed in the room, propping up his head a bit with an arm under the pillow. He hadn't felt all that tired, but it seemingly didn't take much time before he'd passed out. Scattered around the room, Amarantha and Derosa sat down upon the bed-side table, while Fia curled up at Ace's side. Nova and Luce rested at the end of the bed, and finally Sidra, hopped into a large cushioned chair and settled down. The only one who didn't seem to fall asleep right away was Nova, who'd left Luce's side after the Axew had fallen asleep and hopped up onto a dresser that rested under an opened window. Things thus far had gone a bit slow, but for the most part he was enjoying himself. He wasn't to sure yet about Ace, none of his Pokemon besides Derosa were really. They'd only made it to the second town, which wasn't that hard of a feat, and already they had a full team.... What was to come of the future? What was his new trainer's likes and dislikes? Would he like it? All of these questions and more circled around the frog's head before he himself finally fell asleep on the dresser.

The first to rise with the sun, Fia hopped up onto the desk, careful not to disturb Nova as she watched the sun rise over the mountains in the distance. Something caught her attention down on the street below. Peering down from the window, she spotted a woman with red hair whispering to another female. The appearance of two humans talking really wasn't something she cared about, but what the woman was flaunting around made her sort of excited. Pressed between the red-haired woman's fingers was a small red ball, red and round things were the foxes favorite things. Thing was, she was down a story and there was no way for the fox to get down there without hurting herself. She really wanted that red ball, but it wasn't something she was going to risk her life for. Sadly, she wasn't really going to be given a choice, as Nova began to stir, he turned over onto his back, one of his legs kicking outward, bopping Fia in the behind. She lost her footing and fell head-first through the window.
The other woman the red-head was talking to noticed the falling Fennekin from the cry the little fox yelped, and instantly pushed the red-head out of the way and caught the fox, roughly, but she was safe at least. "Are you alright?" The woman asked. "Where'd she come from?" The red-head asked, looking up and spotting one of the open windows. " The better question is how she fell." The other woman replied. "But, it seems like fate that this happened. Why don't you give that to this one?" Fia noticed the red ball, still firmly held by the red-headed woman. Growing eager, Fia agreed that she should be given the ball. " You're right, Raine." Holding up the ball, the red let it slide into the palm of her hand. "Eat it dear, it's a special treat." Normally one wasn't suppose to eat things from strangers, but the smell of the ball and the look of it was just to enticing. Snatching it up, the fox chewed up the oddly powdery ball before finding she didn't feel any different, and it was pretty bland, but whatever the case she got a special treat. " Alright, now, let's get you back to where you came from. " The woman holding her stated. "Alakazam could you assist this darling Fennekin?" The woman asked. An Alakazam, who'd been resting around the corner appeared and with a hand held up, it sent Fia flying up and back into Ace's room. "Be good now you hear, no more falling out of windows." The two woman chuckled to themselves and quickly wondered off. Fia replied with a thanks before looking back to see everyone was still fast asleep.
