omgIisonfiyah ((So when are we gonna be ready to start?)) [Now! I'm terribly sorry for the delay, along with any lack of response in the PMs, but I have only just recieved actual computer access. Opening the roleplay is something best done over the computer instead of an iPad, trust me. s**t can get hella complex, especially if you leave the tab once and the browser decides to RESET THE ******** PAGE AND MAKE YOU LOSE ALL YOUR PROGRESS. URGH. My woes aside, I'm here now and I'm hella looking forward to seeing how things go.
So, without further ado, I now declare this roleplay to be OPEN TO THE MASSES! My introductory post will be coming along shortly.]

Day: January 17th, 3036 Time: Approximately 1800 Hours Military Time Galactic Location: Mining Colony, Gamma Planetary Location: Sloppy Joe's - Skeevy Dive Bar It was only six o'clock and, not even an hour after opening, there were already several desperate sods drowning themselves in whatever alcohol they could afford. Among them was Billie Baines, criminal and alcoholic extraordinaire. She was a scruffy looking woman, with a shaggy brown mohawk adorning her head and spots of dirt staining both her face and camouflage armor. On what little skin was showing, there seemed to be many small cuts and scars. In short, she looked like a mercenary. A good match, all in all, for the scummy company she kept as she downed mug after mug of cheap beer.

Further down the bar sat a girl--she barely looked 20--with tan skin, short, scruffy white hair, and a red patterned tattoo running down her left arm. With how much skin her clothes showed, she might've looked like a thrill seeker in bed, had it not been for the rather large hand guns that hung from either hip. Suddenly a startled yelp rose up over the ambiant murmurings, and Angie spun around on her still, bringing a leg up to eye level as she slammed it into the scum that just groped her a**.
"What the hell, b***h?!" The perpetrator held his sore cheek as he protested from the floor, a trickle of blood streaming from his nose. "You look like you're dressed for a good time; worst I should get is a slap on the wrist!"
"Too many clothes limit my movements. Makes kicking asses like yours harder in the long run." There was a click as she now stood over the man, one of her guns in her hand and pointed at the matter of his forehead. "I'd tell you to find someone's a** to grope, but I don't want to be indirectly responsible for murder. Go back to pick up lines." she told him as holstered her gun. "Equal chance of failure, but better for your health." she said as she returned to her bar stool and her drink, ignoring any further comments from the man as he crawled away.

"Ha!" Billie, who had been watching the whole event go down, let out a bark of laughter at the man's humiliation. "Better luck next time, limp d**k!" she jeered, earning a glare from the now bloodied nosed drunk. She payed no mind to the fool, for as far as she was concerned, he was no longer important. No, Billie's interest layed squarely on the unusual blonde - and not just because she had a glorious a**. No, this woman was obviously capable of kicking a**. But, was she the sort of person that Billie was looking for...?

Angie's eyes met Billie's as she took a swig from her bottle (always from the bottle, unless it was something that required mixing) and she raised an eyebrow. "You're staring at my face rather than my tits or a**." she said as she stood up and sauntered over the woman dressed like a soldier. "In my experience, that usually means you want something, and I'd like to believe that's not sex. Get me a refill and I'm willing to hear your business pitch." she said as she knocked back the last of her beer and plopping down on a stool beside her interested party.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys Thru a scope nearly a mile away a figure lay in the dirt covered by a tattered cloak that let him blend into the area around him. He had been watching the commotion in the bar and had picked up on the conversation that was going on within it reading the lips of the patrons. Switching thru optical sights the rifle he was using moved just slightly as he adjusted to see more of the bar. He was looking for a single mark thru ultraviolet that would mark the target he had been tailing for nearly a year now. A man that had been linked with the death's of millions but had gone dark as he himself had nearly a year prior.
"Found you" he muttered to himself as he saw the mark clear as day. A man three seats down from Angie and Billie who had a dusty hat pulled down low. On the back of his neck hidden from all but ultraviolet light was a tattoo mark showing he was the man Jacob had been hunting. Taking in a deep breath and exhaling Jacob bowed his head slightly. "Kalahira, mistress of inscrutable depths, I ask forgiveness. Kalahira, wash the sins from this one and set him on the distant shore of the infinite spirit. Kalahira, this one’s heart is pure but beset by wickedness and contention.Guide this one to where the traveller never tires, the lover never leaves, the hungry never starve. Guide this one, Kalahira, and he will be a companion to you as he was to me."
Lifting his head from his prayer Jacob's eyes shifted back to normal vision as they turned from purple back to the normal deep green they usually were. Readjusting his sight he exhaled slowly before pausing. A single pull of the trigger was the only noise that issued from him as the round fired out from his rifle. Traveling the distance it was meant to the round pierced thru the window before striking and killing the man a few seats down from Angie just as she plopped on the ground. The man's body slumping forwards suddenly before falling to the ground. The round having gone thru the back of his skull and traveled into the wall infront of him not hitting anyone else in it's course.
"One less" Jacob muttered pulling his rifle in close before starting to break it down. His job now completed would need to be reported to the proprietor of the bounty. Now that his job was done a drink he felt was in order from the bar. By the time he got there traveling at his usually leisurely pace he hopped that any commotion would have calmed down from the man's death.

"Hey! Another drink for the lady over here!" Billie called out to the bartender, pointing her thumb at her new drinking companion. Thankfully, the poor man got right on it without a moment's hesitation. The masculine woman payed outright for the drink, not seeming to care much in regards for price. "You look like you can handle yourself in a fight. Much better than the low time pussies I've been seein' around here." she pointed out, a confident grin settled upon her lips. "You ever thought about taking a flag?" In other words, had this woman ever thought about going pirate? Before she could get her answer, however, the sound of glass breaking resonated through the air - leaving a patron's corpse slumping onto the ground nearby. Billie let out a loud whistle as the sight.

A gunshot rang out and some poor sod slumped dead behind her. Gamma was a hive of scum and villainy, so this didn't take her by surprise too much. "Never really crossed my mind." Angie said with a shrug as she took her new drink. "I'm used to flying solo and hunting down the scum of the universe, but I can see the appeal of back up and spontaneity." she drew one of her guns, hitting the top of the bottle with the butt of her gun to crack it off. "The bounty chase can be tedious at times, I will admit." she mulled the idea over with a nod as she took a sip.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys After about twenty minutes Jacob had wandered finally into the town. His weapon now broken down was unseen under his cloak. The hood was down as he simply swayed from side to side heading towards the bar. There had been no real commotion about the man who had been killed since he had walked in just adding to the reason he didn't like Gamma. 'Death isn't something to take as an every day thing and shrug it off'. His gaze slowly drifted around the area as he took in all that he could both vantage and escape routes as he seemed to just fade into the people on the streets.
Arriving at the bar he looked at the window for a moment noticing the damage done to it. "Jeez" he muttered before walking in. The man's body had been atleast removed but the blood was still semi pooled on the ground. Sighing Jacob walked to the bar and sat in the seat the man he had killed had been at before. "Let me get a hard cider and a triple shot of whiskey mixed" Jacob said leaning forwards on the stool as the barkeep went about getting his drink together.

Frankly, Nathaniel had been surprised no one was sent to pursue him after the escape. Then again, he had orchestrated a couple of more pressing "incidents", effectively throwing his trail cold. It hadn't taken him long to procure some of his belongings, most notably a bag full of electronics and his favorite pair of glasses, beauty they were, with them, Nate could analyze and hack just about anything. Finding himself at a local bar in one of the more seedier parts of town, Nathaniel walked in, hoping to find someone who could get him offworld before the proper authorities came after him. Almost as soon as he had entered, he felt several pairs of eyes on him, for good reason, he didn't look like one of them, he looked to prim and proper, too cultured, too soft. Nate was anything but, sitting down at the bar Nate ordered a drink and spun around, he'd wait and see what sort of conversations he heard while he checked the net for any departures, who knows, he might have a shot at one of them. Unfortunately, as soon as his drink came, one of the more surly patrons came, took it, drank it quickly, smashed the glass and burped in his face. "My oh my, it seems no one taught you any manners. Why don't I rectify what your mother should have years ago?" Nathaniel said with a smirk, swiftly kicking the man in the family jewels, grabbing his arms and holding them behind his back. "Say Uncle and I promise only to break one arm." Nate taunted, putting his foot on the man's back, creating a little strain.

[Just a heads up, I don't have my own computer and I haven't had one in a while. I might peek in now and again from a mobile device, but there's no guarantee that I will be capable of posting daily for a while yet until my laptop's hard drive is replaced. So, just in case anyone wonders why my pace might be so slow, that is why.]
Billie gave a contented grin, pleasantly surprised at the sheer amount of violence that seemed to be playing out so early in the evening here at Sloppy Joe's. Then again, this is Gamma. All things considered, this probably should have been her expectation from the getgo. "Flagging up, I'm willin' to bet, will probably pay more too. You get to do whatever the ******** you want, access to some of the best weaponry the black market has to offer, not to mention booze and bitches - if that's your thing - from all over the galaxy. I've already got a ship, just need a crew to fill it." After saying her piece, Billie took a rather large gulp of her beer. It was nice to know that even if miss a**-buster said no, there were other interesting prospects at the bar already. Like mister fancy pants who was brawling with some drunks, or maybe mister quiet and angsty sitting a few seats down from the two women.

"Good steady pay is all I need; only weapons I need never leave my sight." Angie turned to lean back against the bar, tipping her bottle back to get a good swig. "Just one request:" she said as she held up one finger. "I finish my current job first. I'm not even on contract here, this a*****e's just been giving me the slip for the past five months and I'm too damn stubborn to let him slide at this point. More to say I took him down than it is for the paycheck at this point." she glanced to the side in annoyance.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys As his drink was brought to him Jacob tipped the man as he looked down into it for a time, swirling it as he seemed deep in thought. Now that he had finished his mission he could return back to his home planet and return to working to stop the war that had been ravaging it for as long as he could remember. Sitting there he listened to the conversations around him. Somewhat behind him and to his right he could hear the scuffle going on between Nathaniel and another bar patrons. To his left one of the two women were speaking of a ship and a job that the more bruiser of the two was trying to finish on this planet. 'Nothing of any interest at the moment. Should probably just stick to the plan before something else happens'. Pulling his drink to his lips he downed the glass in a single gulp before slamming the glass on the table firm enough to make a noise but not enough to break it.

Nate didn't know if it was pride or if the man actually thought he would escape unscathed, but it didn't matter, a sickening cracking sound echoed through the bar followed by the man screaming bloody murder. "I warned you." Nathaniel stated calmly, kicking the man away and ordering another drink, pulling out his Tablet and beginning to search for ways to get off Gamma.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys The striking of a match filled the area fore a moment before the sound of the man who Nate had just snapped his arm started screaming bloody murder. What a brutal area this place was. 'I should hurry up and work on getting off this planet. This isn't war this is just mindless pointless violence that serves no great purpose.' Pulling the match up his his cigarette Jacob inhaled slowly lighting the end as he swung the match out before flicking it behind him. Exhaling a thick plume of smoke filled the area infront of him as he lifted his eyes to look over towards Nate for a moment then back towards Angie and Billie.
