Enyo meandered into the coffee shop nearby and quietly ordered herself a coffee with chocolate and caramel flavorings. She noticed it was fairly empty, except for two men playing chess and a quiet couple in the corner. Listening to the game being played, she smiled peacefully and pulled a small book from a bag hanging around her body so she could sit and read it once again while enjoying coffee. The younger boy should be nicer to the old man. But maybe they were related, who was she to judge?
She collected her coffee and opened the book to her favorite part and went outside to enjoy the fresh air and semi-cloudy day.

Li's eyes drifted when a young girl came in. He smiled slightly and made another move after the old man. When she left, Lio tipped his king over, even though e was almost about to win, and handed the old man his winnings.
"You shouldn't spend all your money like that, not unless you know for sure you will win. Others depend on you." Lio walked away from the old man to the counter and ordered the same drink the girl had just bought. After receiving his drink, he walked outside and looked up into the sky with a sigh.

Enyo was looking at the book intently. She had these pages memorized, yes, so it was more like watching a movie in her head, replaying it to herself. Once in a while she'd mutter along with a favorite line of hers, but for the most part she was lost in her own world. She did not consciously notice when the man walked out, though she did turn towards the person so as not to be caught completely off guard. The cover of the book was almost completely destroyed, and it broke her heart that it was, but the book was almost 10 years old and had been read frequently. "And that, not because he's handsome, Nelly..." she muttered softly to herself.

Lewis looked over the new cards he had won. They would make decent additions to his current decks as well as his continuing sprees of heroism. Things have been pretty quiet lately, I wonder if it's me, the police or something else. Lewis thought to himself as he decided to grab himself some lunch before heading home for a little while.

"but because he is more myself than I am." Lio whispered the words gently, never looking away from the sky, and began to slowly walk across the street. There was an old card shop right there, it's the reason the coffee shop set itself up where it did. Card shops were rare these days, and this one was always full of business.

As she read the words, Enyo heard them. Not in her head, but as though someone had spoken aloud. Without showing the excitement inside, she quietly put the bookmark back in its place and looked around. Seeing only one person near enough to have heard her and visa-verse, she gathered her things and slowly followed him across the street, suddenly very interested. If he bored her, Enyo would leave it be and would go home or move on. The next line that came to mind was discussing how there ought to be an existence beyond the one that each person has, and Enyo knew that she was making things up, but hoped so badly that this odd feeling in the pit of her stomach meant that this was going to be important. And with that she found herself entering the card shop just a few moments behind the boy she had seen in the coffee shop.

On his way to get lunch, Lewis had been sidetracked by the card shop and was currently pouring through everything that looked interesting.

Shadix walks into town, stumbling from the night of drinking before. Not completely knowing where he was, he noticed a coffee shop an' entered it grabbing a prefered caramel-mocha. He walked out an' noticed two people enter a shop across the street. He thought nothing of it an' sat at a nearby table to have his coffee an' smoke a cigarette
Tempted to see what was in the shop across the street, Shadix put out his smoke, an' grabbed his coffee and went in an' started browsing. Noticing it was a card shop, he got further interested into this new concept of what these cards were for.

Lio walked into the shop and immediately walked over to the counter. He handed the owner a hundred dollar bill and the owner handed him a single card. Lio walked out of the shop then, picking up the owners copy of Hawthorne Heights.
"I'll be borrowing this Matt." Of course, his name wasn't Matt, Lio had no idea what his name was. But the owner simply laughed and waved a hand showing it was okay for Lio to take it.

Enyo quietly put headphones in her ears to make it seem like she truly was lost in her own world -which for the most part she was- and kept a silent eye on the boy from the coffee shop. When he left the store, taking with him a CD, she wanted to talk to him, find out who he was and what he was listening to and what card did the owner just know to give him?
Another boy entered the store, and she watched him for a few moments, distracted easily. Enyo smiled kindly at the boy who entered, counted to thirty, bought an adorable pokemon card she remembered from her childhood for 10 cents, and left the store. Looking around, she sat across the street at the tables again to finish her coffee and watch those around her.

Not understanding the point of the cards Shadix saw all around him. He grew bored of the card shop. He left only buying a horror comic he saw at the counter, an' a soft drink. As he left the shop, he started walking down the road reading his new book

"I didn't know notoriously drunk Russians could even make out words on a piece of paper." Lio had appeared next to Shadix and was walking calmly next to him as he opened up the Hawthorne Heights CD case, a small CD was inside and on it is said 'Wuthering Heights' Lio laughed as he put the CD inside of his CD player that was sitting in his back pocket. "Typical. I want music and he gives me a book on CD that he knows I don't want to own. Oh well." Lio thought to himself as he put his head buds in and began to listen to the story on a low volume.

"Unfortunately you caught this drunk Russian on a break day. Drinking so much Vodka can get to ya sometimes." Shadix said as he grinned at Lio, continuing to walk next to him, Shadix went back to his comic.

Enyo mentally shrugged to herself, thought 'quit snooping in others' lives' and found herself once again absorbed in another book she pulled from her bag. Contentedly sipping her coffee and reading, she became oblivious to everything around her.
