To answer the question about age, I'm doing that the non-Droid Characters must be children, because I don't want everyone in the Vernable age by Campaign's end.
We could always play our characters sons or daughters or padawans or something.

It's a possibility.......... Let me see if this is something that would work like that.

Curse my limited knowledge of all things star wars... I have no idea what to play.

Anyone, know if there is other classes out side of the main book? Just want to look at different options
I'm pretty sure the Splatbooks only add PrCs, not core classes.
Star Wars saga edition was designed with the idea of there only being five core classes... period. However they instead focus those classes being able to go in a billion directions.
Yup. Splatbooks add new Talent Trees, which make each class feel different while not straying too far from the core class. Still, no extra core classes, just PrCs.

Splatbooks?

Oh, do we take licenses into account with starting equipment?

The modularity of the classes is great. I wish 4e had this. A Scoundrel can behave JUST like a typical D&D Rogue with Sneak Attack and all, or he can go a completely different route, or mix both. It's great.

Oh wow, this is a nostalgia bomb for me. I haven't even SEEN the Star Wars game mentioned for years. Let me see if I can dig up some books. If I can then I'll see about getting in on this.

Jedi sounds good to me, nobody has stepped up to that plate yet. Well, unless you're talking about a 2nd degree droid scoundrel.

Horray, I've got books!

Now to decide what to do XD

I had a Kushiban Jedi Healer I was fond of. I might try revisiting that.
I do love Noble and Tech Specialist as well though, maybe a Ruurian or a Tiss'shar...

Gah, so many choices x.x

I'm leaning more towards the droid cause around the time of the rp here it was actually level 3 scoundrel/scout, that my Jedi(a level 5 Sentinel using the previous sysetm) made to assist him as an investigator. it gained it's own mind and such. and instead of wiping it's memory, my Jedi actually hired it as an assistant. it was mainly a marksman, as I chose the scientific type for it as it was originally designed as an investigative assistant. it was made using the 'Custom Droid' character creation rules from the saga handbook.

I think that was the previous system dude, there is no tech specialist base class in saga...that I know of anyway.
