Castle Garden

mithfae had taken her human form, and to any who wondered in the garden would simply see a little girl wondering around the flowers and paths. as sang softly.

mithfae was lost to awe at the grandness, and vastness of the garden and how well it had been taken care of, she sat down on one of the stolen benches under a willow tree and looked down into one of the many ponds in the garden.

she sat brushing her hair slightly with her hand as she thought about he actions, and wondered what would be he consequence of it.

faolan was struggling to keep steady though kris helped him and seemed never to loss his grip or strength for that matter. Cullen's small gesture of giving him his teddy to hold to help made him smile in side and glad he had a brother. He swore silently in his heart and mind to protect the little lad and guard him from evil.

faolan had started to steep and move forward with kris help, he looked up in time to see the man named Wind change shape before his eyes he started and stared. he had heard many thousands of stories of the shifters and were and most of them of evil his heart wetn out to his brother in a insistent to take him from danger. but this fear stopped at the sounds of cullens laughter as the lad got comfortable and went about petting the fur and keeping his balance by holding on to the soft fur.
Crisdean felt faoalns sudden change in emotions, he held faolan up as he staggered a bit and whispered to him. "SongWind, is a were but fear him not he is loyal and kinda an a honest man. he will never harm the lad. wind is much a father to cullen as you are his brother. he has been taking care of the lad when he came to this castle." he said softly, faolan nodded his understanding and now just watched in awe of the man wind.

pounce padded off ahead and disappeared out the kitchen door that lead into the garden, cullen giggled on wind as they went out side.

foalan gasped at the sudden light and glory of the garden. "such, great...its...amazing.." he said. crisdean nodded and said thanks as he helped faolan sit on the bench to catch his breath.

cullen was running around in the grass bear footed his shoes had disappeared sometime inbetween entering the garden and getting off wind.
the boy disappeared with pounce on his heel as he went wondering off into the trees.
faolan brought out the food from te kithcien and spread it out among wind,aten, faolan and set aside cullens for when he appeared again.
he began to help faolan strengthen his leg and arm to restore there strength.

pounce and cullen wondered among the gardens trees, eventual ended up near a pound and a few willow trees. he kneel down and piered into the water watching the fish swim about.

Wind shifted back to his human form after they arrived and Cullen ran off with Pounce, warning the boy not to be gone too long or he'd miss his meal. Then he joined the others for a small snack for himself and helped Cris with helping Faolan move around until Cris practically ordered him and Aten to take a bit of a walk alone.

Wind only agreed if Cris would give Faolan some more information on himself in the process and agreed to answer any questions when they returned.

Then he took Aten's hand and drew him off into the garden, promising not to be gone too long with a grin in Cris' direction as they moved off down one of the many trails that would eventually lead to a gazebo hidden deep in the garden's fragrant plants...

Aten just smiled at Cullen and would let Cris tell the boy what he was. He whistled as they got out to the garden and looked around. He had never seen one like this but hell he never stayed in a castle before. "Hey" he said as Wind grabbed him and pulled him away. Luckily he grabbed a apple to munch on as they walked. "Whats up handsome?" he asked wind.

Wind grinned at him as he continued along the trail, "Cris just gave us about thirty minutes, maybe an hour, to ourselves. That's 'what's up'...," he said softly and leaned in to nuzzle at Aten's neck, nipping at his ear teasingly before pulling away to move on down the trail, his fingers trailing along Aten's arm as he pulled on ahead and flashed a small smile over his shoulder, "Unless you'd rather just talk? Either way, there's a small gazebo just over there built with lovers in mind and covered in the most wonderfully-concealing ivy you've ever seen...," he offered a brief explanation of where they were going in the hopes that Aten would truly not mind getting away for just a little bit.

A few more steps, a turn around a tall hedge, and they were there with the ivy covered gazebo ahead of them. Wind lead Aten inside, looking a bit nervous now that they were actually here. Inside was nicely done with couches, cushions and low tables, visibility easy for those inside the gazebo but not so easy for those trying to look inside of it.

Wind stepped back to one side and watched Aten look at the place, wondering what he'd think now. Wind had really had no true plans when Cris had told him to go off with Aten for a bit and now that they were actually here, he was beyond nervous and had no idea what to do. In a way, his nervousness was rather cute....

Aten just chuckled and smiled as he let Wind led him and play. He eat his apple fast and tossed the core in to the garden. He was going to enjoy what time he got with Wind now that they where kids sitting permanently. As they got to the gazebo he checked it out licking it and thinking it was a good place to come to get away from it all. After he finished looking around he looked at wind and his smile grow.

"don't know what to do now that you got me here and to your self" He said going pressing up against wind, "I could think of a few fun things we can do in the hour we have alone here. whispering in winds ear he told him of his idea and how wind would have to be quiet.

Cris began helping Faoaln strength his arm and legs slowly, while cullen went off to play. Cris had told Wind and Aten to loss themselves in the rose maze. which was highly possible for the Maze it seemed had had magick placed on it to that it contentiously changed and sifted, also seemed to have a since of humor for it had been know to make shure lovers got lost and then "happened upon a cozey gazebo to sit and..."commune with nature"

cullen had gone off to play and had foudn a pound and he sat watching the fish.

a few hours had past and faolan was tired form the work crisdean had given him to do to help him. he was tired but he felt better.

as wind and aten where walking towards the maze, cullen came out of the growth soaked through and frowning, he went up to wind. pounce sat dry in a tree and seemed to be snickering.

Wind stopped with his arm around Aten's waist and froze when he saw Cullen, a bit nervous. He wasn't sure if he should pull away from Aten or not then decided to just go with it.

About that time, he noticed that Cullen was soaking wet and Pounce was sitting in the small tree next to the path snickering. He focused his emerald and gold eyes on the boy, fighting not to smile, "What happened to you, Cullen? Did pounce push you into the fish pond or the fountain? If he did, I'll have Cris turn him into a toad for a little while for you," he suggested, his voice tight to keep from laughing at the sight of the boy.

At this rate, Aten was going to have to be the adult or Wind was going to choke himself to keep from laughing, unable to help it and not wanting to hurt the boy's feelings at the same time.

Aten had on arm wrapped around wind and kissed his cheek before he saw Cullen and sighed. "wind go get some dry clothes for the boy" he said taking his shirt off to put over cullen to keep him warm. At lest this way wind could go laugh as he got the clothes and Aten could dry the boy off. "Cullen how did you get so wet?" he said before looking at pounce, "watch it or I will toss you in bath with him."

Cullen looked up to Wind outing slightly. "no pounce. I only wanted to pet the fishys.." he said and pouted more then made a gesture of him leaning over and falling into the pool. lucky for him he loved to swim. though he preferred it when he had a chose in the matter. Pounce who had heard Winds comment stood tall and his tail flicked with irateness and he gave a small hiss. "beware your speech catman...I would see never to harm this child nor any other ..." he said into winds mind speaking for the first time to him only though it seemed only cullen and wind heard his voice. though pounce seemed to stick his pink tongue out at Atan.

Wind gave a nod to Aten, "I'll be right back," he told them both, giving Cullen a sympathetic smile, ignoring the cat. He walked off, moving past Cris and Faolan, telling them what had happened and where he was going on his way past them.

crisdena hide a smile though foalan was less consoling about his.
"maybe i should have put more frogs in the garden for him to find and catch so that he does not go fishing.." he said though he had been watching cullen the entire time and knew no harm would befall him. he held out his arm and have a silent call. it was answered my a eagles cry and soon a golden eagle landed on his arm. "Uthar, was watching him and I can see through him. " cris seemed to stop speaking and seemed to be listing to the bird. "uthar says "man child would hunt better with talons of eagles then jumping into water scaring pray." he is a bit one sided when it comes to hunting...dont ask.." he said with a slight wink.

faolan had dozed off tired of his work, crisdean fallowed after wind for a moment "cullen is special. his heart is special....keep well a eye on him. though i do not need to say as much for i know you will. he seems to have a way with peopel cute kid..ill go to atan and him while faoaln sleeps. oh.. i will be making dinner to night if you would tell marget if you see her. ill "run" into town to get soem things but it will not take me long." he siad and thne turned and went off to find cullen and atan.

Aten jsut gave the pounce a look as he picked up Cullen. "I will and thanks for helping out" he said to cris. Nodding to him and headed to the gazbo that had a fire place in it. supirseingly it was clean and he put Cullen in front of the fire smiling. "You are a hand full but you are fun" he said, "Next time drag you brother or me and wind if you want go fishing all right." He liked Cris idea about getting frogs around for Cullen to chase and play.

cris started a fire in the place, and took off his cloak he always wore during the day and wrapped it around Cullen so that all that was seen was a small lump in a pile of dark fabric.

"do you have any umm "special" requirements for dinner Atan. so I know when I make dinner." he asked though skirting aorudn other words that may frighten Cullin.
He knew Wind would return in a few moments with dry cloths for cullin, crisdean stood in the shadows of the gazebo out of direct sunlight as best as he could though small rays of light still hit his skin though it did not seem to bother him.

he disappeared for a moment and returned in a flash with foalan and laid him in a corner. faolan looked stunned and a tad pale. though no words came to his mouth his mouth moved.

AS wind was making his way to his room to get dry cloths for cullin. a sudden boom and flash of white and blue was seen a bit off on the path and then a smell of burning.
in the circle of chard ruin was a circlet slightly smoking. or maybe it was jsut the area around it smoking. a slightl purple glow was coming off the circlet.
