If anyone remembers that Wild Wild West movie with Will Smith from the 90s, it's like that. XD The Victorian era is the most common time period though.

Yes it is very much steampunk. Technology of all sorts operated by steam rather than by electricity as we have in the modern time.
FF9 has steampunk. If you don't know what that is YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. Cough.

Three and four sounds awesome and so does two.
Two I would vote for thanks to how hilariously fun it will be
Three sounds fun too and very promising with its story twists
But four I like the most because there's demons and I love my demons
I would vote for one but I like the other three more

Anniria - I find it irritating, cliche, and over-rated. It's kind of neat the first time around, I admit, but I'm sick and tired of it being forced down my throat every time I try to make an even mildly sci-fi or (semi-accurate) historical roleplay. Steampunk in itself isn't bad - nor is it good - I just personally dislike it. (To be fair, though, I kind of hate anything I'm overexposed to against my will - like how I came to dislike Naruto or Twilight.) Again, with enough effort put into the setting and characters, it can actually be interesting. I just haven't found one yet that I'm satisfied with yet, excluding Bioshock.

Everyone - Okai, next post I'll discuss what I've decided to and what not to make. I'll make 1 and 4 tomorrow. If everyone who is interested in 3 can tell me which roles they want and why, I'll make that one as well, since 1x1s and 2x2s are easy to make and are not nearly as much hassle as full on roleplays.
