From what I understand it has a Dan Brown feel to it but add the Cthulhu mythos to it.

I'll have to have a look at it.

Do you have "Mansions of madness"? That one is exxcelllenttttt. One of them in particular is amazing.
That was one of my original ideas actually. But I have been really penny pinching for my next trip and never pick it up. Now after running this mod I realize I need something more than a free mod i got online. I just wont go see Zombieland or Panderum for awhile.

Well, MoM is just a little more than the price of admission razz

One day....I want to buy beyond the Mountains of Madness. So epic.
Beyond the Mountains of Madness is truly epic from what little I just read on Chaosium.com. biggrin

I know, innit? It's like 400 pages long. Any adventure longer than the Core Rulebook gets my seal of approval

The adventures I really want:
-Masks of Nyarlathotep
-Shadows of Yog-sothhoth
-The Orient Express (despite being lethality incarnate)
-BtMoM

With it being in Antartica you got other things to worry about other than monsters. The cold being a major factor.

If you ever decided to run it and have room for another PC i wouldn't mind playing in it.

I'm thinking of running Shadows of Yog-Sothoth a 1920's adventure that seems to have promise. Heres a little about it:

The Silver Twilight is a secretive, international order dedicated to the destruction of the human race. As brave investigators, you must piece together passages from esoteric books, shards of strange artifacts, and puzzling letters to discover the Silver Twilight’s loathsome goals.

Or if you want to stick with your current characters Unseen Masters. Heres a little about it:

Three mini-campaigns set in modern New York State lead investigators through serial murder investigations, madness, and into the middle of an ancient conflict between bitter rivals. Along the way investigators will be aided by mysterious allies, face the Cult of the Sacred Light and the Black Brotherhood, and confront immortal horrors beyond time and space.

I'm up to run ether but before I buy one I want to see which one you guys would rather play in. biggrin

I think it'd be cool to have a multi-campaign game going, but I'm up for whatever. 1920's sounds cool, too. *shrugs*

...Although, in '20's, I might have to say "shee?" after everything I say... rofl

Mythos Inc roll a "Spot Hidden".

Which brings me to a question I've been meaning to ask, but haven't gotten around to yet: Do you want us to roll 1d100 for simplicity sake, or 2d10, like the rules state?

Oshi the Killer rolled 1 100-sided dice: 21 Total: 21 (1-100)

I'm down for either. Checking reviews over on Yog-Sothoth however, while SoYS is a well-known adventure and something of a classic, Unseen Masters boasts nearly straight 5's across the board (a 4.5 and two 5 stars), compared to SoYS's 3.5's.

Job hunting sucks.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 06, 2009 11:38 am
I still need to look for a new job too. Thing is, I want to look in the Virginia/North Carolina area, and I live in Connecticut. sad

I gotta really just sit down and dedicate an hour every night to doing it, or something.

I have a friend who just moved to Connecticut who is doing some volunteer work for Yale. Him and his girlfriend are living out of a tent until they can find jobs and a house. FYI they both are hippies with bachelor degrees. He has one in Linguistics and she has one in Psychology. He is one of the best gamers and storytellers that I have played with. I miss the hippie. My dad was a Marine and I had the pleasure living in North Carolina. It was a really nice state. I hope you the best on the job hunt. The economy sucks.

I have a bachelors in Mathematics. 4 years work experience working a physical labor job, and almost 5 years work experience as a casino banker. I hope it's enough to find something with substance. I need to get out of this state sweatdrop

It's that bad? gonk Missouri sucks too but I stay here for my dad. Since my sister moved to Kansas to work on her English/Secondary Education degree I'm the only person my dad has. He hates that I moved out but dude I'm 29. I only live fifteen minutes away at most. But it sounds like you shouldn't have any problem finding a job. I wouldn't go to Vegas my friend digital pancake moved out there and it's pretty bad there. I went there last spring and it is bad.
