RP With Tal and Foalen
Talencia
Jaden soared high on the currents, hovering over the meadow, while Delphia lazed below him, basking in the afternoon sun. The river chattered nearby, with the splash of a leaping fish occasionally breaking the watery rhythm. The mare's eyes were mostly closed, her breathing slow and steady. She didn't even bother to flick her tail to shoo th fly that buzzed curiously nearby.

Twiddle
(Ooooh, unicorn babies would be SO awesome! <333)

Kaga shook off as he left the lake, dripping wet he wandered back over towards his tree. As he passed by the river on his way, he spotted Delphia and got a horribley brilliant idea. He kreapt over to her, and when he was beside her he shook off the rest of the water, soaking the sleeping mare.

Talencia
Delphia heard the hoofbeats coming and lazily pried one eyelid open just in time to see someone leap over her. She wasn't especially concerned and was letting her lid drift shut again when she got a cold shock of a sudden shower of spattering drops.

With a surprsied grunt, she heaved to her hooves just as fast as she could go and spun to see who had done such a dirty deed. When she saw Kaga she couldn't help but fall into laughter. "YOU!" she neighed in mock ire.

Jaden, still floating high above, saw the trick and screeched a laugh. Then he got a highly mischevious twinkle in his eye. Without another sound he folded his wings and dove soundlessly for the ground. At the very last moment he threw his wings open and braked to a very loud stop just above and behind Kaga's head.

For the moment he was suspended, neither landing nor flying, he reached with his beak and tweaked the jade necklace around Kaga's neck. The tweak didn't remove the necklace, but made it shift as if it might have slipped off. Then with a last cackle of mirth he dove into the thick grass under Delphia's belly.

Twiddle
Kaga laughed, though it came out as a whinny mixed with a wuffle. As he felt the gust of wind behind him he blinked, and went to turn around. He then felt his jade necklace get tapped, and he looked down, ready to see it sprawled out on the ground in a million peices. He realized it was still around his neck, and he spotted Jaden under Delphia, hiding in the grass. He snorted, though smiled and chuckled at the hawk. "Good to see you two, too." He said grinning.

Talencia
Delphia trotted over to nuzzle Kaga in affectionate greetings. She certainly was coming out of her shell, particularly with those she felt safe with. She might always be a bit 'yellow' in certain circumstances, but her heart of gold proved true every time. "So how are you today? Any more adventures lately?" She then glanced back at the hawk hopping after her like an animate shadow. "Life with Jaden is almost always an adventure of one sort or another!"

(XDD So cute! *makes faces for him* mrgreen 4laugh )

Kaga smiled and nuzzled her back, swishing his tail back and forth. "Haha, yeah it seems so!" He said nodding, smiling down at the hawk. "I'm trying to find Tasunke, actualy. I found a really pretty rock for him, I figured he could make something nice with it. It's the least I can do for him after he gave me the bracelet and necklace."

Talencia
((Hehe, I told him you did those faces for him, and he grinned, then leaned forward and said towards the puter, "Thank you!" ::giggling:: He is entierly too cute.))

Delphia perked up her ears at the mention of a rock. "Perhaps we can go back where you found it and find more! Surely there must be others... perhaps he could make a whole necklace of beads careved from these rocks!" She was feeling rather optimistic, but hey, why not?

Jaden drove himself into the air and circled the two closely. "Show us the rock, Kaga?" he asked slyly. He scree'd his laughter, knowing the two soquili would know full well that he wouldn't steal it, despite his insinuation otherwise. But they did have to see it to be able to find others like it, didn't they?

(XD!! Awww, that is so cute!)

Kaga whinnied a laugh and nodded. "Alright, let's go! Follow me!" He called nodding, rearing up he pawed the air for a moment, then took off at a run towards his favorite tree, which he had come to know as 'his' tree.

Talencia
Jaden was the first to react. He dove after Kaga, swooping up behind his pumping neck, using the larger creature's mass to break the resistance of the wind, cruising just behind him where he wouldn't get whipped by the stallion's tossing mane.

Delphia was a heartbeat behind, leaping forward on powerful haunches. She lengthened her stride, attempting to catch and pass Kaga, even though she hadn't a clue where they were heading. Her hooves flashed back and forth and her gallop rolled like thunder across the meadow's green carpet. Her neck stretched out like a racehorses, seeking to get ahead by even a nose.

Twiddle
Kaga felt Jaden above him, as he ran he noticed Delphia coming up close to him. He spread his legs out longer and held his head further out. He spotted the tree near them, and he skidded to a stop, they had almost passed it! He stopped and shook off, watching as Delphia ran by him. "Hey!" He caleld in a loud whinny, laughing along with with it. "We're here!"

Talencia
Delphia charged past Kaga, a momentary thrill racing through her before she realized she hadn't won... she'd simply not stopped when he did! With a wild neigh she threw up her head and slammed on the brakes, twisting around as she did so. The result was a stunning and partially unintentional spinning stop. Before the dust could settle, she bolted back towards Kaga and his... tree? She slowed to a stop beside him and blew hard, purposely spraying him with snot. She whickered a laugh and danced sideways, tossing her head and making her beads in her braids click crazily.

Jaden, meanwhile, had had a tiny bit more warning of their sudden stop, since he was behind Kaga. Still, it was sudden enough that he flipped his wings so that he shot straight up, dodging branches as he went. He emerged with an irate caw above the tree, then flapped back around the tree, gazing curiously at it. He then dove under the tree's canopy and did a few twisting, looping circuits inside the tree, dodging branches and foliage. He came to rest on a medium branch above the horses as Delphia finally stopped dancing about like a filly.

Twiddle
Kaga bent his head and rubbed his nose with his front leg. "That was gross!" He said, though laughed as well. He watched as Jaden went flying around the tree, and then bent down and picked up the rock Ayita had found earlier that day. He held it out towards Delohia, letting Jaden see as well. It was beautiful, a light rose color and a darker rose swirling inside it.

Talencia
Delphia bent to look and exclaimed delightedly, "Oh, it is beautiful! Where did it come from? Here?" She glanced expectantly around, hoping to be able to tell from which exact spot it had some so she could start looking for more. She turned and trotted around the tree, eyes scanning the ground, tail swishing rhythmically behind her. Where WERE those rocks?!

Jaden meanwhile eyed the rock from above hungrily. He tended to have an almost uncontrollable urge to steal shinies. He kept himself under strict control, however, ever since that close brush with the hunter who wanted his feathers... ALL of them! Jaden gave an indignant trill and fluffed up all his feathers, hunkering down defensively at the very thought. Nope, no more stealing for him! He'd rather keep his plumage attatched, thankyouverymuch.

Twiddle
Kaga chuckled a little, and set the rock back down in the grass, eying the hawks wandering eye. "I think Ayita foudn it over there." He said, nodding his head towards a patch of grasses not far from them. He trotted over, prancing really, excited about finding another stone for Tasunke.

Talencia
((::hopes for Jaden to join Delphia on her cert soon?:: ))

Delphia capered over with Kaga to the designated spot, rearing and shouldering him playfully with a n** before coming back down on all fours and beginning to search the ground. She would pace a few steps, stopping every so once in a while to paw at a likely looking spot, clearing the concealing grass from the ground. She finally stopped at a spot where she thought she saw the glitter of shining stone, mostly buried under loose soil. Her tail arched in thrill as she peered closer and pawed carefully, trying to gently uncover what she hoped was another rose rock.

Jaden meanwhile decided to stay out of the hunt, for his own best interests. Instead, he began sidestepping along the branches, peering here and there. He had frightened the resident birds into silence with his presence, but he was used to that. He wasn't particularly hungry at the moment, as Talencia had thoughtfully fed him bit of meat before she had set a stew to simmer this morning. His belly was full, so he wasn't interested in hunting. Instead, he peeked into a hollow spot where his branch met the trunk. Could anything be in here of interest? Uncautiously he stuck his featherbrained head in.

Twiddle
Kaga walked around as well, smiling at Delphia. He saw her stop and look at a spot, and he trotted over happily. "Did you find one?!" He asked excitedly, his small tail swishing back and forth in a futile attempt to rid himself of flies. He prodded the ground slightly, trying to uncover the rock. Yes! It was another rose stone! He smiled and gently picked it up. "Thonks Dephia!" He said, it was difficult to talk with a rock in his mouth, and trotted over to the tree and setting the stone by the first.

(Hey Foalen, you wanna join? :3)

Talencia
Delphia positively glowed at having successfully found another one. She spied a plain rock nearby, about twice as large as Jaden. She cantered over and turned her back to it. She set a searching hoof on it and gave it a tentative shove. It shifted just slightly in the soft soil. She turned back around and pawed the soil away from the edged of the rock. She then turned back around and set her hind hoof against it again.

((Am working on what Jaden discovers in his foolish action... gimme a few, lol. And yes, by all means, Foalen, bring in Ayita, since she found the first rose rock! We needs da help!))

Twiddle
Kaga looked over to her as she started to kick at the rock, and he trotted over to help. He sent his hoof against it as well, in unison with hers, hoping to knock it from the ground. After a few more tries, the stone came loose and Kaga whinnied in triumph.

Foalen
((Sorry I was called out of the room for a moment. I don't mind bringing Ayita in. smile ))

Ayita was trotting along when she noticed Delphia and Kaga. With a neigh she wandered over to the other two soquili.

Talencia
Delphia nosed Kaga in celebration of their collaberation, then turned to see their handiwork. She gasped a deep breath and stared slack jawed. The underside of the rock was studded with pieces of the same rose stone, showing the rock itself was actually hollow. The entire inner hollow was filled with protrusions of the rose rock. She tossed her head to look at Kaga and leapt straight up in the air. "JACKPOT!" She leapt in the air again, this time kicking at the apex of her leap. "There are plenty here!"

Jaden, meanwhile, had a rather unpleasant surprise. With his head stuck in the hole, all light was banished from the small hollow in the tree. However, a distinct sound came to him from within the cavity... a strange sound, like the wind rushing siblantly through the grass. "Hissssss.....," He thought nothing of it at first and tried to poke himself further in, nudging the inner walls with his beak. "Hisssssssss!" it came again. It soundef faintly familiar.... almost like a....

With a startled squawk, Jaden tried to jerk his head out of the hole. Only he couldn't because his head was in at a strange angle and could not be jerked out swiftly by any means. He struggled for a moment, the hissing growing louder and closer to his face, and he flailed his wings and pushed with his talons. With a last screech he fell backwards, black feathers scattering.

The hiss took shape, forming into an equally black snake, sliterhing forward out of the dark hole in the trunk. It slithered forward towards the startled hawk, rising up to face the bird. It's black tongue flickered in and out and a hood unfurled from around the snake's head. As Jaden stared, it wove it's head back and forth hypnotically, while still slithering towards the now semi-stunned bird of prey.

Foalen
Ayita was about to respond to Kaga's neigh when she saw the snake, eyes narrowing she lunged forward, half rearing as she lashed out at the snake with a dark hoof. She had nothing against other creatures but she would not let this legless one harm a friend.

Twiddle
Kaga looked down at the uncovered rock, and his eyes widened. He leapt as Delphia had done, and smiled brightly. "Wow!! Look at all of those! This is GREAT!" He said, trotting around happily and throwing his mane around. His excited high suddenly vanished when he spotted Jaden in the tree with the large snake slowly making it's way towards him. "JADEN!" The striped stallion called out, running over to the bird. He looked up at them, realizing they were too high up to get to manually. He looked around, and then bucked the tree, hoping to have Jaden or the snake fall, he knew he needed to spereate the two somehow.

Talencia
((Sorry y'all, had to put my son down to bed))

Delphia turned also a tthe commotion and saw Jaden, staring at a large black hooded snake. Her joy turned to fear and fury in an instant. With a scream, she charged the tree, ramming it with her heavy shoulder, trying to aid Kaga in his attempt to shake one of them loose.

Jaden felt the tree shiver, then shake, though not especially hard. It broke his concentration on the snake just enough to break into his circling thoughts. It was only a snake! He ate these things for breakfast! He mantled his wings and snaked his own head forward. Of course... this snake was a lot bigger than what he normally ate... and a lot angrier as well.

"Oooutttsssss!" the snake cried. "Oooouttssss of treeesssss!" And with that, the snake struck at him. Now back in balance, though, he hopped backwards out of reach just in time.

Foalen
Ayita was lifting her head to respond to the chipmonk soquili when he turned drawing her attention to a tree and Delphia's new familiar. High up he was being meniced by a dark serpent. As the painted mare watched in horor Kaga reared at the tree and she held her breath hoping his attempt would work and the snake or hawk would be disloged from the tree.

Glancing around to see if there was anything she could use to help in rescuing the hawk she clenched her jaw finding nothing but brush and rocks. Looking back she waited to see what would happen next.

Twiddle
Kaga continued to buck and kick at the tree, hoping to shake one of them loose. "Jaden! Fly away!" He called to the hawk, hoping that now that he was out of the trance he seemed to be in moments before, he'd be wise enoguh to fly away and leave the snake be.

Foalen
Heaving a sigh of relief Ayita trotted over to Kaga and Delphia giving them both a quick nuzzle as she joined them.

Talencia
Jaden wasn't exactly thinking clearly. He SHOULD have just flown away. But he felt challenged, and was rather irritated as well by his lapse in dignity. And who knows what treasures this snake might have in the tree! He arched his wings threateningly. "Leave this tree, snake brother, or face the penalty!" His neck feathers were all puffed out, as well as his chest feathers, making him look slightly bigger than he really was.

The snake didn't appeared to be daunted, however. "Sssssssnake sssssissssster, fffeatherhhhhhhead," the snake hissed angrily. "Sssssssstay ahhhnd become a ssssssssnack!" With this she struck at him repeatedly, one after another, forcing Jaden to hop backwards... unable to fly, of course, since hawks are unable to fly backwards. And the branch he was traversing was getting ever slimmer and more unsteady.

Delphia screamed wordlessly at both the hawk and the snake. She shook her mane and snapped the air with her teeth. Out of desperation, she grabbed a random large pebble with her teeth. She planted both front feet wide, lowered her head, then flung it upwards and to the side, sending the rock sailing through the air. Unfortunately, it of course clobbered Jaden, giving him a glancing blow to one wing. Fantastic... she had just made it even harder for him to fly away!

Twiddle
Kaga looked over at Delphia, and cringed as he saw the rock hit the hawk. He bucked at teh tree again, but found it futile. He then grabbed a spare branch, and tried to knock the snakedown from the branch, He really didn't want to hurt the creature but he aslo didn't want Jaden to be a meal!

Foalen
Ayita's relief turning into irritation and exasperation as she watched Jaden react to the snake. "Preditors," She grumbled under her breath. There was a time to stand and fight and a time to flee. This was not the time to take a stand. Whirling her head about once more she tried to think of something anything she could do to help.

Talencia
((ROFL... ::absolutely rolling at Ayita's comment:: ))

"I want your treasure!" Jaden cried. "I know it is there! You are protecting it!" His wing that had been hit was drooping a bit, and it stung like mad. However unlikely it may seem, he was actually quite oblivious to the three soquili below them. Ah well, no one can be perfect, eh?

"Trrrrreassssssurrrrre... yessssss....... trrrrreasssssure!" The snake hissed fiercely. "Myyyyyy trrrreasssssurrrr!" At this, several small black heads poked out of the hole in the trunk, tongues flickering in and out as they attempted to discern what it was their mother was confronting. "Foooooolissssssshhhh sssssssquuuaaaawwwkerrrrrr make ssssssssnack for trrrrreasssssurrrre!" She lunged nearly her entire length now, well within range of Jaden.

Jaden, however, had finally realized where he had made his mistake... or at least, to his mind. There was no shinies! Only... babies! Disgusted with himself, he was almost too late to react to this last lunge on the mother snake's part. With a last squawk, giving irony to the mother's statement, he slipped gracelessly off the branch and fell in a heap in the midst of hooves.

Twiddle
Kaga dropped the stick, and shook his head at Jadan as he saw the hawk hit the ground. "Crazy bird." He said shaking his head. "Are you alright?" He asked, snigffing at the hawks wing with concern. "I told you to fly away, ya nut." He said, though smiled, just glad everything was alright.

Foalen
Stepping back quickly to avoid flattening the Hawk Ayita glanced down at Jaden. "I have to agree with you Kaga. He's crazy. But then most meat eaters are. I mean they'd have to be wouldn't they? To want to eat meat in the first place."

Then as if reailzing her words might be offensive she bobbed her head at the hawk. "Sorry, I don't mean to offend. I just don't understand the appeal to eating meat."

Talencia
Delphia rushed over, shouldering the other two aside gently, and knelt beside her friend. "Jaden! Jaden! You goofy, ridiculous crow! What were you thinking?" She prodded him gently with her muzzle, whuffing warm breath over him and ruffling his feathers.

Jaden flapped his wings a bit wildly, trying to right himself. He succeeded in slapping Kaga's muzzle with a feathery wingtip and in clubbing Delphia smack on the muzzle with his wing joint. This only made him wince, since it was the same wing the mare had managed to bruise. Upright again, he snapped his beak at them grumpily. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I was fine!" He stressed this with another squawk, this one indignant rather than startled. "We were just having a.... discussion. Yes, a discussion."

He looked upwards just in time to see the dark tip of the mother snake's tail disappear into the shadow above the branch. He clacked his beak in irritation and wobbled over to Delphia. Without another word he snagged a bit of her mane in his beak and tugged, pulling himself up to rest on her withers, talons balled so as not to hurt her. Once there, he continued to hold onto her mane in his beak, looking like a ridiculous parody of a rider with reins. And there he sat, silent, ignoring any other words they might have for him.

Delphia snorted and lunged to her feet, taking the hawk on her back with her. Once standing, she shook her head hard, as if to clear the awful worry from her mind. "Well... that certainly WAS an adventure." She heaved a heavy, patient sigh as only an equine can, and gazed at her friends.

"How about those rocks now?"

Twiddle
Kaga chuckled a little and nodded. "I agree, Ayita. It is rather odd. Oh well, to each thier own. We're all part of the balance of life." He said with a nod. He watched as Jaden mounted Delphia, and cuckled a bit at the sight. He looked over towards the rocks, and smiled. "I wonder how we can get them to Tasunke?" He pondered aloud as he trotted over to the rock filled with rosey crystals.

(Edit: Bye bye Foalen! <3)

Talencia
Delphia followed Kaga to the rock. "I think either we need to enlist human helpers, or we need to bring Tasunke here to the rock." She leaned down to snuffle of the rosy inner parts of the rock. "Which do you think is better?" She slanted a look at Kaga that was unreadable and apparently unrelated to her suggestion or question. It was just as if she was studying him thoughtfully. "And thank you... for trying to help Jaden. It means a lot to me." She then dropped her gaze self-conciously back to the rock and it's glittering trove of rose rock.

Jaden, of course, kept his beak clamped on Delphia's mane, though faint and muffled muttering could be heard from the poor, mistreated hawk. His bruised wing DID hurt quite a bit. He worriedly hoped it wouldn't interfere in his flying for very long. It would be a bit embarassing to have to ride his chosen friend around for any longer than it took to get to the village.

Twiddle
Kaga looked at Delphia, and smiled, nuzzling her slightly. "No problem at all, I lvoe to help friends." He said with a nod. "As for this rock, I think it might be better to get Tasunke to come here." He said, ignoring the hawks mutters. "Wanna come with me to the village and see if we can find him?" He asked, smiling at her.

RP With Wooga and Foalen][quote="Twiddle
(XDD! Alrighty, I will! <33)

Kaga laid in the grass, underneath a large willow tree. He felt a bit bad about how many nice things Tasunke had given him, all in one day too! He tried to figure out a way to repay the kind mn, and he didn't notice the other two horses venturing towards him, as he was lost in thought.

wooga Paes
Just as he started folloing Ayita, Palla noticed a faint form of a horse-- another one! This was his lucky day! Without really thinking, the palominostarted a gallop towards the other stallion."Hello? " He beamed, slowing down as he got closer.

Foalen
Seeing Kaga, Ayita whinnied a greeting to the chipmonk colored soquili. "Hello there Kaga! Do you feel like running with us? This is my new friend Pallaton." The mare motioned to the other stallion with her head.

Twiddle
Kaga snapped out of his thoughts as he heard the whinnys. He looked up at the blonde stallion before him and raised a brow, never seeing him before. "Ah, hello. Sorry, I was lost in thought. Hey Ayita! I'd love to run with you guys." He said as he stood up, shaking off and smiling at the two.

wooga Paes
Palla seemed quite happy. "What she said its Palla or Pallatonor Ton no one called me Ton before but I find it ok! " Really, the stallion was just exited, he felt lucky on seeing two new Soquili inthe same day!

Foalen
"I hope it wasn't too serious. I'm sorry if we desturbed you." Ayita wuffled appologeticly.

Twiddle
Kaga looked at Palla with a confused expression, but shook it off at Ayita's comment. "Not at all, I was just trying to figure out how to repay Tasunke for his kindness, about the bracelet and necklace." He said, showing each as he said them. "And I think I'll call you Palla." He said, smiling t the palamino stallion.

Foalen
"Palla is a beautiful name." Ayita agreed nodding. "And Tasunke is very generous, he is worthy of a gift. Though I am not sure what he would like. Though I remember Foalen really enjoying the ride Spirit sprite was kind enough to give him. Maybe you could give Tasunke a ride when you see him next?"

Twiddle
Kaga nodded a little with a smile. "That's a great idea! Thanks Ayita!" He said happilly, glad he ahd at leastone thing he could do for the nice man. "So you guys up for run?" He said smiling. "I'll race you to that tree!" He said with grin, nodding to a large oak in the distance.

wooga Paes
"Shiny rock. " Palla said, starting to snoop around. "You culd give shiny rock! " The palomino was indeed confusing, but he too had seen his own amount of things, and one of his favorites were shiny colorfull rocks.

Twiddle
Kaga chuckled and nodded. "That's actually a good idea, too, Palla!" He said nodding. "Tasunkecould use a nice rock for one of his many beautiful necklaces." He started to serch the ground alongside the blonde stallion.

Foalen
"I'm always ready for a run." Ayita replied gleefully. She loved the way the wind played with her mane as she dashed oer the earth. "And I am glad to help."

Foalen
Seeing the others searching for a stone Ayita decided to help out and began looking around herself. A bright light caught her attention and she picked it up. It was a pale pink stone with a darker rose color swirled through it. ((It's rose quartz. )) Do you think he'd like this one?"

wooga Paes
Palla tiltedhis head and looked at the stone with Ayita. "Prettypinkprettyrock! " He said quite mixed up, but shiny pretty stuff did brin out hyperness in the stallion.

Foalen
Ayita smiled at Palla's reaction. "I like the way the color swirls around in the rock like pink clouds." She said.

Twiddle
Kaga chuckled at Palla's reaction, and nodded to Ayita. "That ones beautiful!" He said, gently picking it up in his mouth. "I'll fund a sofe ploce fo' it'." He said, his words muffled from the rock. He walked over to his favorite tree, the large willow he had been under, and laid the rock down at the base. "There, it should be sfe until I see Tasunke again." He said with a nod.

wooga Paes
Palla folloed Kaga, but nudged the rock to a small patch of grass at the base, where the grass was a bit biger and culd hide the glimmer. "Crow like shiney. They go get shiney. So Palla hide shiney! " He nodded, he knew about the waycrows seemed t go for shiney objects.

Foalen
"I think he's really going to like it. I can't wait to see what he makes of it. I'm sure whatever it is, it will be beautiful. He's very tallented." Ayita wickered looking out at the tree before them. "Now then we were about to race to that tree as I remember. she said with a wink and whirled towards the tree bounding away with a cheerful neigh. "Ladies first."

Twiddle
Kaga smiled at Palla and nodded. "How very right you are." He glanced to Ayita to see her running away, with a faint sound of 'ladies first'. "Hey! No fair!" He whinnied to her jokingly, and started to run after her, his powerfullegs sending him into a gallop.

wooga Paes
Palla neighed and dashed forward in a quick gallop, and yet for more speed, there were moments when the horse lunged forward in a leap, gaining more ground and caching up to Ayita.

Foalen
Ayita laughed in delight looking back over her shoulder as she wached the powerful young stallion race towards her. He was strong, but she wasn't going to make it easy on him or Palla for that matter. Lowering her neck she increased her speed this was fun!

wooga Paes
Well, now was time for a strategy change, Palla started to bound in zigzags, pushing him forward ateach movement petty much like a desert snake. Palla was older then both of them, but boy they were a chalange! Though, zig-zag had to stop as he remembered getting dizzy with it once, then continuing a gallop, streching his neck forward and in a neat line with his body, snout first to piearce through the air.

Twiddle
Kaga watched as Palla shot forwarf and ahead of him, and he forced his legs to move faster, catching up to the blonde horse. He whinnied loduly, tossing his mane, loving the feeling of the wind against him. He leapt over a fallen log with ease and started to gain more speed, trying to catch up to Ayita, though the thrill of the race was what he loved, winning wasn't important to the chipmunk stallion.

(Sorry if my replies are slow. >< And bye Foalen!)

wooga Paes
Well, after Ayita went backto 'Foalen', Palla had found himself quite confused, never having seen the place before. "Uhh.. Where are we? " He shnuffed(Made up! XD ), stopping his now trot to look at Kaga.

(Mountains? >3 )

Twiddle
(XDDD Okies)

Kaga looked over at Palla, then around his suroundings. "Um.. I'm not sure, actually." He said shrugging, or at least, the best a horse could shrug. "Let's just walk around, we'll find our way abck sooner or later."

wooga Paes
Palla blinked and nodded. "Uhh.. Yeah. " He managed, starting to walk, looking around. "Do you think we might find any food 'round here? " He asked, while walking.

((Dunno. n.n; ))

Twiddle
Kaga shrugged and looked around. "Maybe." He said as he walked. He saw a few patches of grass, but nothing more really. He could see the valley below them, and wondered how they ahd anaged to get so high up. He noticed he could see his beath as it left his nose. Hmm, it was freezing up here.

wooga Paes
"Grr! This thing won't stay up! " A young girl's voice culd be heard squealing.

Though not understainding human speak too well, Palla culd understand 'stay', but whosaid he was obedient? "Wanna see what it is? " He neighed, shaking his shoulder skin to scare the cold away.. a bit.

Twiddle
(Sorry if I'm slow to reply. xP I'm making a CD.)

Kaga chuckled and nodded a little. "Alright!" He said trotting over to where they'd heard the voice come from.

wooga Paes
"Finally! " A happy chirp was now there, and an indian girl came in sight-- about only twelve years old wearing some large tan 't'-shirt and pants, with some shoes of the same sort. Her hair was black with a ponytail, and a headband with a feather on her forhead.

This was odd! Never had Palla seen such a young girl out alone! Or.. trying to make a teepee? Though, she seemed to be having trouble with reaching the top where she had totie it up-- or joy.

((I'll be right back, just gonna go get some copies for my dad. :0 ))

Twiddle
(Kays. x3)

Kaga blinked as he watche the young girl raising a brow. "Seems like she's having a bit of trouble." He said, and trotted over. He found he was taller than the makeshift house, and he held up the top for her, then motioned her to tie it.

Tayia almost fell back when the stallion came from nowhere, where had he come from! Yet, still, she culden't reach the place where she needed to tie.

"Yup. " Palla nodded, trotting over then 'ducking' infront of the girl, as if to help her reach the place. "I havn't seen this one before. " He neighed.

Cihiru
Winter was quickly becoming something she wasn't fond of. The cool breeze was nice at first, sure. But the way the biting wind crept under her fur and chilled her to the bone mid-run really took a lot of the fun out of it. She found herself shivering; not wanting to move at times. She'd noticed other forest creatures growing longer, thicker coats, but hers was as short and sleek as ever. And horribly insufficient in blocking the chilled wind. Gusts were reminding her now; teasing her and poking her skin, causing her to shift her weight uncomfortably as she attempted to drink from an equally icy river. Kourin hated to think of herself as negative, but this wasn't enjoyable. At all. As she sighed to herself, she lifted her head to look around, hoping for something more productive to stroll along.
Twiddle
Kaga walked along the rivers edge, the winter chill making his skin twitch more often than ever. He shook his head, blowing breath out as he snorted. He sighwed inwardly when he actully saw the hot breath in the air. With a shake of his head again he continued walking, hoping the slight excersize may get him warmer. He spotted Kourin near the water and immediately brightened up. He let out a loud whinny, bobbing his head in the air and trotting over to her.
Cihiru
Kaga's whinny made it easy to spot him, particularly against the browning grass. She smiled inwardly, grateful for a distraction. Well, not a distraction so much. Maybe company was a more appropriate word. Yes, she was grateful for company. "Hi Kaga," she neighed in greeting. "How are you today?" Smalltalk never struck her much, but what else was one to do when there was nothing else to say? That's what smalltalk was for, she supposed. A necessary evil, in a way. "Too cold, if you ask me... And I know you aren't."
Twiddle
Kaga nodded a little. "I'm alright, but I agree, it's too cold." He said, blowing his breath out as if making his point more valid. He walked closer to her and stood beside her, hoping his body warmth may help a little.

Aiyana walked along the rivers edge, a heavy deerskin coat on her slim body. A bundle was wrapped in her arms and she walked along, looking for Kaga. "There you are!" She said smiling. She spread out the blanket she ahd made for the stallion, and laid it on his back, tieing it in the front. "There you are." She said petting his nose. She smiled to Kourin and walked away again, going off to get more supplies to make trinkets and things with.

Kaga watched as his friend walked away, and he pulled the blanket off himself. He took it in his jaw and flung it over Kourin, letting it nestle on her back. "That should be better." He said, smiling.
Cihiru
"That wasn't necessary." She snorted in response to Kaga's emphasis, though more jokingly than anything. The diffference in standing side-by-side was actually noticable; she could feel tensed muscles relax, though only slight, and it was still almost unbearably cold.

Kourin watched the human approach with a neutral expression; they'd never really had any interaction, and she hadn't a chance to form any sort of opinion. She recognized the girl as Kaga's companion, nothing more. And it was with an equally removed look she watched her leave. It was nice of her to bring him a blanket, though...

And too nice of him to give it to her. "Kaga." Her tone was chiding, perhaps. Not that she didn't appreciate the notion. "Don't try to tell me you're not cold." The mare turned slightly, to look at him more directly as she spoke.
Twiddle
Kaga smiled at her and shook his head. "I'm fine, really." He said with a nod. "And don't try to give it back to me, I'm very stubborn." He said grinning. "As long as you're alright I'm fine." He smiled and walked over to the river, lowering his neck to get a sip of the icey water.
Takakun
The young hunter sat in the shadows, his fur blankets draped over a small wriggling basket as the chilly air freezes his breathe. He watches the two grown soquilis gather by the river and gazes warmly at the basket, thinking one day, the little equine within would grow just as proud and strong. But for now he sat here, rubbing his arms furiously and wondering where was Ahiga was with the firewood...the boy had insisted on gathering them tonight, and was taking his own sweet time as Tahatan guarded their basket.
Cihiru
"So am I," she commented earnestly. "This could be problematic." And she grinned, laughing as much as a horse could.

Kourin followed him to the river with her gaze, only approaching once she saw him dip his nose for a drink. If he were to look at her then, he might have noticed a hint of rare mischief in her eyes... but he might not have had a chance to. The mare bumped him deliberately; leaning into her weight and attempting to push him into the chilled river.
Twiddle
Kaga laughed a little at her comment, glancing up to her. He suddenly felt himself being pushed slightly. The next thing he knew he was on his back, covered in icey water and with a dumbfounded look on his face. He looked up at Kourin and snorted at her, though he smiled at the same time. He stood up and shook off, purposely making sure to get close to her as he did.
Cihiru
Success! She leaned her neck away from the river to shield her face from the brunt of the splash, though Kaga's very intentional shaking still splattered her with droplets. "Are you cold yet?" Kourin straightened herself and peered over, her ears perked forward and her equine face wearing an impish expression.
Takakun
As the stallion was pushed into the river by the soliquous mare, Tahatan laughed silently from where he was half hidden. The plays of the soqulis often amuses him and he could spend hours watching them.........although the cold of the night when the big sleep comes is not making it that enjoyable...he squinted and pulled his rather threadbare shirt tighter around him
Twiddle
Kaga looked at her and smirked. "Oh I am so gonna get you for that." He said smiling. He walked out of the river and shook off again, shivering. He tried to hide it, but now he really WAS cold. "Hmm, now, what to do..." He pondered aloud, smirking at her.
Cihiru
Ah, the sweet smell of victory. Part of her wanted to gloat; to walk a circle around him and pause a short distance off, trying to goad him into asking for the blanket. But no, she was too kind for that, though she couldn't deny it might have been amusing. "Oh?" The mare grinned further still, almost daring him to 'get her back.' "How about..." she paused to pull the cloak off her back with her teeth and throw it over Kaga. "you keep that."
Takakun
Exasperated, Tahatan decided to get firewood himself. He grumbled...where did that boy go! But he didnt want to leave the basket alone, so he just went a little into the edge of the forest and began picking up good branches of drw wood. Stacking a solid amount, he returned to his place and began to expertly kindle a fire going, putting the smaller, softer woods at the bottom so they burned easily. Soon a crackling fire emerged, giving out much wanted heat and light. He grinned and shifted his precious silver basket closer to the heat and settled back happily.
Twiddle
Kaga watched as she gave him the blanket, and he shook his head. "No way." He said, slinging it back over her. "I'm fine." He said, trying to keep himself from shivering. He was very stubborn. "I think I have an idea." He said with a grin. He walked a bit closer to her, and circled her, ending up on her left side. "I think I'll just have to.." He trailed off, and suddenly shoved her hard with his head, hoping to knock her into the water as well.
Cihiru
Kourin had expected this. She even braced herself in advance, hoping to be able to hold her balance once he'd pushed her.

And failed miserably. The mare felt her light form topple at the force, and the river envelop her in what she considered to be an extremely uncomfortable embrace. "Now the blanket's wet too." Kourin rose to her hooves and pulled herself out of the water, droplets streaming off her pelt. "Some idea that was." Once again, she tossed the blanket over him (the task made far more difficult when waterlogged), and took to shaking off beside him, much as he'd done before. "Well then. Now what, wise one?" she teased, her tone hopefully carefree enough to be unoffensive.
Twiddle
Kaga chuckled and shook the blanket off. He laid it on a nearby rock, and looked over at her. "Well, I got you back, didn't I?" He said with a grin. He shook off again, shivering. "Well let's go find a warmer place, maybe one of the humans has a fire going?" He asked walking over to her again.
Takakun
the two soquilis were snorting at each other and kicking about, enjoying the winter air. Tahatan wondered what they were talking about, amidst the whinnying and snorts. It does seem that the mare was a little cleverer than the stallion and was attempting to throw the blanket over him... the hunter smiled...and patted his basket...."soon little one", he murmured.
Cihiru
"At least I had good intentions," she defended, still joking. Kourin really had been cold before. She was freezing now; she could have sworn her fur was nearly standing on end from the way her muscles kept twitching.

"Can't say no to that." The mare bobbed her head in agreement and set to finding this 'warmer place'; she started by taking in immediate surroundings and testing the wind for the tell-tale signs of campfires.
Twiddle
Kaga smiled at her and stood close to ehr, hoping maybe thier body heat together would be helpful. He looked around for the smoke of a fire, hoping someone near had one going since now they were both freezing, and the blanket was soaked as well. He ahd to admit, he didn't think hisplan through fully.
Takakun
He poked at the fire a little, and added one of the branches. Slowly he wondered if he should go looking for Ahiga...he has been gone some time...what if he is lost, he is just a boy even though Tahatan had already started hunting for himself at that age...his face grew serious as Tahatan stared in to the flickering flames.
Cihiru
She smelled the smoke before she spotted it, but it wasn't all that difficult to trace. The scent was strong, and the wind was calm enough now to be true, despite her earlier disdain. Kourin walked along its path almost absently, neglecting to call out to Kaga as she followed. Instead, she sniffed the air curiously, testing it once again as she neared what she thought to be her destination.
Twiddle
Kaga blinked as Kourin suddenly started walking away, and he raised a brow at first. He then smelled, and saw, the smoke ahead and followed after her, trotting to catch up. He walked beside her and was glad they found a fire, he was still shivering badly, and he was also worried about Kourin. He could tell she was more prone to the cold than himself, and he walked closer to her, hoping to warm her slightly, even though they were already heading to a fire.
Cihiru
The sound of hooves behind her pulled her attention from the potiental fire; she tossed Kaga a glance as he closed the distance between them before fixing on the smoke. "So, what happens when we get there?" She could imagine the scene at the end of the trail... A human or two huddled near a meager fire, as cold as or colder than they were. "Just walk up and say 'hi, can I have your fire'?" The mare still wasn't overly fond of humans.
Twiddle
Kaga chuckled at her comment and shrugged, in a horsey way. "I'm sure they'll let us stay with them for a little while." He said with a nod as they walked clsoer.
Cihiru
"That's not overly helpful." She snorted disapprovingly, though the smile never really left her expression. It remained even as the fire itself pulled into sight, with a human sitting at its side. "How about you greet him? Since you like people so much, and all..." Kourin paused a fair distance off; close enough to be seen but far enough to feel comfortable.
Twiddle
Kaga glanced over at her and raised a brow, the shrugged. "Alright." He really didn't understand her weariness of people, but he knew it wasn'y his business and he pproached the human with a friendly nicker.
Takakun
Tahatan shivered, his breathe forming misty clouds in front of his face, so much so he didn't see the two soquilis approaching, one a beautiful dark roan mare, and the other a frisky stallion, but he heard the clip clops of their hooves over the sandy grass and looked up.
Twiddle
Kaga looked down at the human, who looked as cold as he and Kourin were. He stood by the fire, then laid down, gauging the mans reaction to this. He hoped it was alright for them to share the fire's warmth.
Cihiru
She never really thought about it. Why she tried to keep contact with humans minimal, that is; it just was. If she had to explain it though, she probably would have blamed it on an encounter with a young child as a filly, and an over sensitivity to the emotions of others. Humans were so irrational and shameless; it drove her crazy. She hated the way emotions other than her own would push her to act or feel a particular way.

But that wasn't an issue now. Kourin watched the stallion's approach with only mild curiosity; it almost felt as though the cold was numbing her mind as well. She didn't really care what was going on, as long as there was some warmth involved somewhere.
Takakun
Tahatan stared awhile at the hulking soquili which pushed his head into his chest for a moment and then folded down by the fire. He was a beautifully scuplted dark oaken stallion with large curious eyes, while his companion standing a little off had blue midnight skin and gentle liquid blue eyes.
The hunter paused for a moment, then smiled shyly, glad to be in the presence of such majestic creatures of the land. Continuing to stroke the fire, he waited for the other soquili to approach, all the while listening to the bumps heard from the basket
Twiddle
Kaga watched the human for a while, and when he found this man to be no threat and he obviously didn't mind company, he looked over to Kourin and bobbed his chestnut head at her, telling her it was okay to come over.

His deep brown eyes then looked over at the basket near the man, and his ears perked forward curiously. He hadn't yet seen that basket, though he knew of many others around that would soon let out little foals to join them.
Takakun
His sharp blue eyes watch the male soquili sniff curiously at the basket, and he smiled... patting the lid a little, he pushes it slightly towards the bigger bethren. "when the little one comes out, he'll either be a Sora, or she'll be a Bri..." he spoke quietly, with much affection...Tahatan wasn't sure if the soquili would understand him, but it didnt matter as all were equal around the fire, and he would enjoy atleast someone listening to him on this lonely night.
Cihiru
The way the man gave a calm sort of acknowledgement reassured her, but in the end it was the fire's glow that drew her forward. She approached slowly, her hooves just brushing the tips of the brittle grasses. When finally she was near enough to feel the heat radiating from the flames, she stopped, and gratefully soaked up the warmth.

Kourin took the opportunity to observe the small camp then; the man and the basket both. This was the first basket she'd seen, actually, and her curiosity tempted her to lean forward and inspect it. It smelled of soquili, she could tell, but she declined further investigation, as the human was moving the basket then. "He has names chosen already?" She tilted her ears forward as she looked toward Kaga.

xd heart
Sure! <3

Kaga trotted around, he seemed happy. Very happy. He knew this was because he and Kourin were now mates, and he couldn't have been more obvious about it. He loved telling anyone about her, and he took any chance he got to talk. This was definately not normal behavior for this stallion, as he was normally level headed and calm. He trotted around 'his' tree, wipping his mane in the wind.

Draculas Babe
Cyrus stumbled around boredly, quite opposite of thou Kaga. (lol) He walked as if nothing bothered him. He had just battled a wolf, protecting Zephi. His chest was still a little bloodied from it. He shook his mane and looked up. He heard a crunching noise. He walked for a bit and seen Kaga trotting around a tree. He walked up to him slowly. "What are you doing?" he asked softly.

Twiddle
(XD Get ready for hyper-weird-love-struck Kaga. xDD)

Kaga skidded to a halt, and looked over at Cyrus with the most goofy grin ever plastered to his face. "Hey Cyrus! Kourin and I are mates now! Isn't that great?! I know it's so cool! I can't believe she said yes, it was soooo cool! Now we're together and it's fun and she's pretty and yay!" He had started to trot around the black stallion, prancing like a foal in a circle.

Draculas Babe
Cyrus watched Kaga immensly. "Are you okay? Or excited. Maybe mental?" he asked sarcastically. He laughed at Kaga. "Thats great, but I'm afraid I have no idea who Kourin is." He tried to swish around his tail but he didn't feel anything. He turned around and his tail was in a bun! He rolled his eyes and looked back at Kaga.

Talencia
Delphia pranced up and nickered a happy greeting to Kaga. It was soooo good to see him so happy! It made her want to grin. Then Kaga kept moving, and she saw who he was crowing to... CYRUS!

The mare stopped dead in her tracks and her eyes got round... and promptly had a blonde moment. Was her mane braided nice today? Was her tail brushed? Did she have grass stuck to her mouth again? Her thoughts entirely scattered to the winds. Pretty much literally struck dumb by a rush of shyness, she sidled up to Kaga and peeked around him at Cyrus, clearly shy and self concious and just as clearly drawn to him.

((Hehe... hi guys! Poor Delphia.))

Twiddle
Kaga laughed at Cyrus's comment, too happy to be insulted. He spotted Delphia and whinnied a greeting, tough raised a brow at her as she hid behind him. He wondered why she was acting that way, and then looked to Cyrus. Ahhh. He realized what was going on, and he smirked. "Hey Cyrus, you've met Delphia right?" He asked, sidestepping and pushing Delphia forward.

Talencia
Delphia gave a startled squeal and nipped Kaga hard on his rump for the undignified and embarassing position he'd shoved her into, face to face with Cyrus. Then she straightened and stared at Cyrus wide eyed for a moment before dropping her eyes and her head, whuffling at the grass.

"Yes, Kaga, Cyrus and I have met," she murmured, casting a scolding look at Kaga.

Draculas Babe
"Yes, I have." he smiled. "Hello, again." He wondered why the two were acting so strangely. He was to dumb to figure it out. He's not dumb just dumb in lovey dovey land. (lol, poor Cyrus) His emerald eyes gazed at Delphia and then back to Kaga. He felt a bit awkward for some reason but he couldn't tell why.

Twiddle
Kaga smiled at Delphia's scolding glance, and he nodded a bit to Cyrus. He wouldn't leave her alone with him, not yet. He knew Delphia was nervous, but he could also tell she liked Cyrus. He remained where he was, standing slightly behind Delphia.

Talencia
Delphia shifted her hooves nervously, and then looked up at Cyrus again. His kind gaze warmed her, and she smiled genuinely at him. Reminding herself that Cyrus had been her first friend, she decided to do better than this for him. She wouldn't treat him like a stranger.

She nickered to him softly and took a step or two forward. "I'm sorry, Cyrus. I'm still sort of... shy." Her lashes flickered downward for a moment, then she smiled back up at him again. "Have you seen Kaga's rose rock?" She needed SOMETHING to talk about! She also was trying to rack her brain for something to do with Cyrus... to spend more time with him other than jsut idle chitchat. But what??

((EDIT: ::does a wild, whirling, capering dance for having post 1 on page 1111:: Hehe! I'm silly.))

Draculas Babe

"Rose Rock? I don't believe he has." he smiled warmly at her. He noticed her nervousness and didn't want to make her uncomfertable. He glanced in betweern the two, shifting between legs. His ears flickered forawrd listening intently.

Twiddle
Kaga smiled and walked over to the rose quartz rock. He nudged it over towards Cyrus and Delphia, flipping it over until it stopped on the plain side, revealing the shimmering rose colored rocks.

Draculas Babe
"Where did you find it?" he asked curiously. He was at a loss for words and now acting quite stupid. He looked at the rock interestingly. It was an rather odd rock, he usually had no fasinations in them but this one was rather....spunky.

Talencia
Delphia laughed at Kaga rolling the rock with his nose. "Why do we need to bring Tasunke here when you can roll the thing, Kaga?" Still a bit nervous but determined to get over it, the mare sidled over near Cyrus, almost touching him as she stretched her nose over to the inner hollow of the rose rock, huffing a breath and sending loose dirt that had gotten stuck between the crystals flying back into her face. With a surprised and rather indignant snort, Delphia threw her head up and shook it, then sneezed, sidestepping truly by accident into Cyrus. She didn't bump him very hard, but just the contact with him made her hide tingle.

Delphia honestly didn't know what in the world was wrong with her. WHY was she acting like this? Why did she lose her brain when Cyrus was around? Irritated with herself and very puzzled, she tossed her head and shook it with another sneeze, stomping one hoof into the soft turf.

Draculas Babe
As Delphia bumped him he held his ground barely moving. He watched the mare, "Are you alright?" he asked rather seriously. He watched a bit of dirt on her nose for awhile and then couldn't stand it. He got closer to her and blew it off from a side angle so it wouldn't get in her eyes.

Talencia
The tickling in Delphia's nose stopped after Cyrus blew the dirt off her muzzle, and she opened her eyes to stare down both their noses right into his eyes. She blinked slowly once, with the rest of the world fading. She stretched her neck a little further and touched her nose to his, blowing just faintly. It finally dawned on her what was wrong with her. She liked Cyrus! She blinked slowly again, then paused to wonder if she was making a fool of herself... after all, Cyrus had been kind... but was it really likely that he favored her as she did him?

Sadly, she withdrew and lowered her eyes. She would let the moment pass and pretend it hadn't happened... if Cyrus wanted it that way. Unable to stop her hammering heart, she held her breath and waited for his reaction.

((Please note, this isn't intended as a 'horse kiss', but as a more personal and close greeting, as horses tend to do... blowing into each other's noses to learn more about the other horse.))

Cihiru
((This isn't how I was going to finish it, but that's alright. >.> ))

The morning had been a beautiful one; the sort that left her feeling refreshed and carefree. As though all was right in the world, and nothing could change it. She could look off into the horizon, at the still-rising sun, and know she was doing the right thing; heading in the right direction, despite not knowing her destination just yet, nor her purpose. It was alright; the way the plan was supposed to unravel. She had no worries.

So why did it turn out to be one of those days? A day where nothing felt quite right. The generally high-spirited mare was choked by melancholy, and whatever the reason, she couldn't pinpoint it. Even her hooves dragged dully, though she was trying desperately to at least look cheerful. And her eyes? they were the most blatant; she couldn't chase away the distant expression. Kourin sighed audibly; she hated herself this way. It was so unlike her. She was the dependable one. Well-meaning and thoughtful, not burdened. Not sad, especially for not without reason. No, this wasn't like her at all.

She just wasn't sure what to do about it. She'd tried running it off. The adrenaline, and the usual simple appreciation weren't there. She couldn't put her heart into it, though she wanted to. She tried daydreaming too, as she'd done earlier in the morning. The process was usually a little too good at letting her thoughts wander, but it didn't end well either. Her mind kept drifting to all the things she was trying to ignore, leaving her just as gloomy as ever. Kourin was rather out of options at this point; mornings and good company were the only other releases that came to mind. A nice sunrise was obviously out of the question, as the firey orb was already nearing its peak in the sky. And company? Well, that thought made her repeat a sigh. Hiabi was off on one of those sporadic treks where she'd disappear for days at a time, Kourin had no idea when she'd be back. As for Soquili, she hadn't seen Taima in ages and there were no signs of Kaga since they last spoke days ago. There really weren't many she knew outside them. That thought, too, made her sigh. She was so unsocial?

Maybe she'd just sleep it off. That appeared to be the only option left at this point, last ditch though it was. Kourin adverted her aimless path to her teepee; it seemed best to rest there. Probably because it made her feel safe, but that wasn't a consideration she dwelled on. The mare just plodded with as little thinking as she could manage, even ignoring the small forest dwellers she crossed paths with on the way.

Twiddle
(Awww, poor Kourin. ;0; Kaga to the rescue!)

Kaga trotted along the rivers edge, seemingly bored out of his mind. He hadn't seen Tasunke at all, and he really wanted to give him the rose quartz he and the others ahd found. He sighed and continued to trot down the egde, though then turned and went into a full out run. He hoped the feeling would take his mind off things. His legs pumped hard beneath him as he ran, and he came across a few teepees. He made no move to stop as he passed them, not seeing anything of interest. Until a blueish shape caught his eye. He skidded to a stop, making dust and grass blow up around his legs. He smiled a little as he saw the mare he had once had a foal like crush on. He seemed to not be able to make up his mind, as now he seemed to be swooning after the raccoon Soquili Delphia. "Hey Kourin!" He said hapilly, hoping his old friend would help cheer him up, though as he looked at her he knew that wasn't the case at all. "You alright?"

Cihiru
((Psst, Hiabi and Kourin's teepee is a rather solitary one. ;o ))

Kourin had just reached the camp when a voice broke the tranquil sound of wilderness she was listening to. Not just any voice, either; it was Kaga's. She smiled inwardly, though it didn't manage to surface. "Hi Kaga." Her ears flicked forward as she turned to face him, and she realized he wasn't looking quite like himself either. "Me, alright?" she questioned, pausing characteristically at the end. "Of course." She might have been more honest had it been something he could help with, but the mare didn't really care to burden him with nonsense, particularly since she wasn't even sure what was bothering her.

Her gaze had fallen to the ground as she thought, but she pulled it back to rest on him before speaking again. "What about you?" Kourin closed the distance between them and walked a circle around the larger stallion, putting on a show of scrutinizing. "You seem to be less than cheerful." And she stopped to face him again, arching a brow.

Twiddle
(I'll keep it in mind. x3; )

Kaga could tell she was different, she was definately not how she normally was. "Me?" He started at her question. "Oh, I'm alright. Just a bit dissapointed lately." He said nodding, digging up the ground with the tip of his right foreleg. "I've been looking for Tasunke, have you seen him?" He asked, hoping his friend had seen the man around.

Cihiru
Kaga's fidgeting distracted her; chocolate eyes flicked to watch his pawing every now and then. "I don't spend much? er, any time around the village. So, no, I haven't seen him." She was sure to look to him then. "I'm sorry." Kourin was regretful though; she wanted to be able to assist him. She wanted to ask why he was disappointed too, but refrained. It wasn't really any of her buisness.

Twiddle
Kaga smiled a bit to her and nodded. "It's alright, thanks anyway." He said, nuzzling her slightly. "I have a gift for him. He gave me this braclet," He lifted his foot to show her, "And this necklace," He puffed his chest out to show her the jade jewels. "And I wanted to give him something in return. I found a bunch of rose quartz with some of the other Soquili. Would you like to see them?" He said smiling cheerfully, hoping to lift her spirits.

Cihiru
Kaga had offered plenty of distraction. Between the comforting gesture and the presentation of his recent acquisitions, she couldn't help but smile a little. "They're very pretty. They look good on you, too. That was nice of him." She paused thoughtfully, tilting her head a little. "And nice of you." Kourin admired the thoughtfulness. "I definately want to see them." The mare nodded decisively.

((Whoops. Multitask > me. Sorry))

Twiddle
(XD It's okay.)

Kaga smiled brightly at seeing her smile. "Great! Just follow me." He said, nipping at her mane playfully before trotting off. He smiled back at her, hoping he could help cheer her up more. He hated seeing anyone in bad spirits, especially anyone as nice as Kourin.

Talencia
((::jumps in with both feet in order to distract herself:: ))

Delphia was grazing near the rose rock. It was still rolled over on it's back. The 'top' had looked plain, but the underside now exposed showed the inside was hollow, studded with lovely rosey quartz, shining like a frozen flower in the sunlight. She kept one eye on Jaden, who was sitting atop the edge, peering interestedly into the glowing puddle of rock.

Cihiru
"I think I can manage that." She nodded somewhat absently before following. Kourin was more concerned with figuring out how to repay Kaga, for she would have had to be blind not to notice he was making a decided effort to lift her spirits. There had to be something she could do? Well, something managable. Finding Tasunke wasn't really an option; she didn't even know where to start there. Nothing came to mind though, she had to settle for returning his smile with an earnest grin of her own.

((Er, I spent a ton of time trying to figure out what to add to this and couldn't come up with anything. Doh))

Twiddle
Kaga lead Kourin over towards the tree he called his own now, and blinked as he saw the familiar shape of Delphia grazing there. He stopped in his tracks, hesitating. This was not good. It wasn't that he wasn't happy to see Delphia, but he wasn't sure the two mares he had been flirting with would get along too well. He approached with caution, and smiled at Delphia. "Hey Delphia! Hey Jaden! How's the wing?" He asked as he looked up at the bird.

Talencia
((Thankies Cihiru!))

Delphia raised her head, a clump of grass dangling attractively (ha) from the corner of her mouth. She grinned at first, seeing Kaga, then perked her ears as she spotted someone following him. A mare! She shook her head to lose the clump of grass and fidgeted, a touch of her shyness and uneasiness returning. What should she do? Were they... a couple? Uncertain, she decided she probably had best treat them as such. It wasn't fair to lay claim to Kaga, particularly since he had been such a good friend. He didin't deserve conflict over who he favored. Determinedly, she put on a bright face and trotted over. "Hi Kaga!" She turned to the mare and bobbed her head respectfully. "And greetings! I am Delphia, and the grumpy lump of feathers over there is Jaden."

Jaden was indeed grumpy. His wing ached badly, but no longer stung as it had the day before. He had been examining the rosey rocks, but now turned his back and harumphed, fluffing his feathers disgruntledly. He still hadn't quite forgiven Delphia, but he knew he would eventually. He was just in a bad mood right now.

Cihiru
((Certainly. And ha, Kourin is so naﶥ. Poor Kaga *patpat*))

The mare had followed rather silently, lost in thought and a general loss for words. Making conversation was usually relatively simple, but she wasn't really in the mood for mindless chatter, and didn't want to bother Kaga with it anyway. That, and she had better things to think about. Things like how to lighten her own mood and how to repay Kaga for his kindness. She didn't have long to consider it, though. The trek to the 'rocks' had been shorter than anticipated, and it wasn't long before she found herself looking on a tree and? another Soquili, to her surprise.

She tried to smile pleasently, greeting the other without giving the grass any thought. "Kourin," she said simply, nodding a little. "Good to meet you." And she allowed herself to look past the mare, where she had indicated there was a 'Jaden.' Curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she wanted a quick glimpse. The lump of feathers, as it were, was not so easily spotted, but she found him to be a rather handsome hawk once she finally laid eyes on him. "And Jaden, too." Kourin looked back to Delphia, offering a polite smile, before turning back to Kaga with a questioning expression. He sure had fallen silent?

Twiddle
Kaga was obviously nervous, he kept shifting his weight from side to side. It was all good for now. He then realized he had to choose who he actually did like. Meh, he'd save that for another time. He looked down at the rock full of rose quartz, and smiled at Kourin. "This is what I told you about." He said nodding.

Talencia
Delphia hated to see Kaga so uncomfortable. And she hated to know she was why. Her ears swiveled unhappily around, showing her uneasiness. She began slowly backing away from the other two, one step at a time. She really couldn't do this to Kaga. She didn't want to just come out and say that he needn't worry about her... that she didn't mind that he had a girlfriend. Because that was basically true. Wasn't it? She nodded her head in mild distress at her whirling thoughts and took another step backward.

Jaden, however, never had a problem coming right out and saying things. Call it his talent. He was pretty grumpy, but he liked Kaga. So he hopped back around to face them, still perched on the rose rock. He stared Kaga in the eye brassily and announced, "She is going to run off, you know." He waved his uninjured wing at Delphia, who was about to turn completely around and excuse herself before bolting. He was good at reading situations, and knew this was awkward, but refused to allow his bonded to leave so unhappily. "Do you really want her to?" If a hawk could put hands on hips, he would have.

Twiddle
Kaga blinked at Jaden, then looked over to Delphia. "Delphia? Oh, please don't leave." He said, looking at her sadly. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." He glanced to Kourin. Were they together? He wasn't entirely sure himself. But he really wanted them all to be friends. Oh how he got into trouble.

Cihiru
She, of course, hadn't noticed Kaga's discomfort while addressing the mare and (what she assumed was) Delphia's familiar. Now that she looked to him though, it was blatant. But she refused to dwell on it, as he was quick to mention what she'd been wondering about - the quartz. It was quite unlike anything she'd seen, but was undeniably beautiful just the same. Kourin smiled as she looked from the rock back to Kaga. "They're lovely? I'm sure Tasunke will love them." She nodded for emphasis.

The smile didn't last long, however. Jaden's abrupt assertion had caught her entirely by surprise, and she took an uneasy step backward. Well, this was awkward. The discomfort was relatively contagious, for the unaffected Kourin was now shifting her weight uncomfortably and trying to think of something to distract herself with. It wasn't that she didn't want to help, but Jaden was clearly addressing Kaga and she didn't exactly know Delphia, leaving her feeling rather misplaced and perhaps wishing she hadn't come here at all.

Twiddle
(Hey Hiru. <_< You think Kourin would wanna be mates with Kaga? XD They could start a herd together, and Tal already told me on AIM that she'd have Delphia join it, too, as a non-mate, but part of the herd. :3)

Kaga sighed inwardly. Now they BOTH were uncomfortable. "Um... Kourin." He turned to the blue roan mare, and smiled sheepishly. "Do you think... That is, would you..." He shook his mane and tried this again. "Would you like to be my mate?" He asked, his eyes downcast on the ground. He shifted his weight from foot to foot.

Talencia
Delphia stopped and listened, her breath held. She didn't feel as if the ground had fallen out from under her... that told her a lot. But she did feel a hope for Kaga's happiness. She waited for Kourin's answer.

((I have to go, but I have given Twiddle permission to finish Delphia's role in this scene. Good luck!))

Cihiru
Hearing her named pulled her out of her 'I'm-not-here' desires, and she looked questioningly to Kaga. "Hm?" His uneasy start made her raise a brow, rather oblivious to the source of his nervousness, but she was unwilling to hold it against him. That is, until the question broad-sided her and made her blink clumsily. His mate? That was unexpected, to say the least. She considered him a friend, certainly, but that was? Well, unexpected. She couldn't think of it another way.

She had become aware he was nolonger looking at her, too. Kourin contemplated for a brief moment before acting decisively. She approached Kaga, situating herself so they were face-to-face, in a manner of speaking, and she lowered her head, looking up to meet his gaze. "I'd love to." Her tone was soft, but certain. The dullness was gone from her expressionate eyes; they were sparkling now. Happy, even.

And she'd all but forgotten Delphia was observing.

Twiddle
Kaga looked up to meet her gaze, and his eyes and face lit up. "Really? Great!" He smiled happily and nuzzled her. He 'hugged' her, placing his neck beside hers and laying his head on her back. He then remembered Delphia was there, and he glancied over to her with an apologetic smile.

(I don't really feel right RPing Delphia, so let's just assume she's okay with it. xD;; )

Cihiru
Kaga's obvoius happiness reassured her. Well, that, and the way a warmness in her chest chased away the sadness that had been drowning her since sunrise. The feeling of perfection was familiar to her, but now, it was that much sweeter. She too smiled earnestly, taking a step forward to mirror his equine embrace, planting a nuzzle on his shoulder.

Twiddle
Kaga smiled, all thoughts of other Soquili and other things seemes to melt away. He was happy, and he was glad to be with her. He nuzzled her affectionately again, smiling, and unable to stop. He finally pulled away from thier horsey hug, and smiled brightly at her. He felt like a love struck yearling. He trotted around her, whipping his mane around behind him. He looked rather odd, prancing arund her, though he was too full of happiness to care.

(I actually have to go now. x.o We can continue it later though if you'd like. <3 Bye everyone! *snugs all and poofs*)

11.28.05:

Kaga wandered around aimlessly, smiling his now normal goofy smile. He couldn't stop thinking about Kourin, and he wondered where she was. He really did try to stop thinking about her, only for a moment, but it never worked. He had given it up and now just wandered around his willow tree most of the day. He laid down in the soft lush grass and gazed at the rose quartz stone beside him. Where on earth was Tasunke? Kaga hadn't seen him in a very long time, and now he was starting to worry. He let out a plaintive sigh and pushed the thought aside. Instantly his mind was filled once more with the roan mare, and he smiled softly. He soon drifted into a light sleep, the warm sun shining down on him.

A butterfly landed on Kaga's head as he slept, the small orange bug settling down on his forehead. He opened one eye as he felt it, trying to see it he crossed said eye, looking rather goofy as he did. He lifted up his head, still watching the butterfly. The bug ahd thought it was on rock of some kind, so when it started to move, it was a bit scary. It flew off his head and over towards a flower, hoping this usually nice object wouldn't start moving out of the blue. Kaga watched it for a moment, and yawned, shaking his head, his mane flying about around him. Looking around, he wondered if any other horses were around, since he hadn't seen any for quite some time.
Cihiru
Loki occupied himself with a lengthly run; an opportunity to sretch his newfound limbs and accustom himself to a form that had at first seemed cumbersome. It didn't take long to convince himself this was a good change, though. He leapt easily over obstacles he'd had trouble with before, his hooves gliding with ample clearence as he made impressive jumps, kicking up dirt and trampled leaves in his wake. He could feel muscles propelling him faster, too, as the wind pushed past him quicker than before. Yes, this was a good change. Satisfied, Loki slowed his stride, settling finally into a casual trot just fast enough to make his nolonger-short tail stream behind him.
Twiddle
Kaga's ear spun around as he heard the familiar sound of hooves pounding the earth. He looked around, following the sound, until he spotted the shape of another stallion, a white one. He stood up, shaking himself off, before letting out a whinny to make his presence known. He strode over towards the other horse, his skin twitching as he felt a fly land on his side. He looked over the young stallion curiously, wondering who this new male was. "Hello," He said, with a slight smile, knowing it would get him nowhere to be rude.
Cihiru
He had almost expected someone to 'interrupt.' He'd been bumping into others a lot recently, for some reason or another. Not that he midned, it was just an observation. And it didn't particularly take him by surprise when a whinny broke the relative silence. Loki's ears twitched at it, swiveling curiously toward the stranger as he halted his pace. "'Afternoon." The stallion bowed his head politely, giving himself a moment to observe the other once he'd righted it. He couldn't help himself; his first thought was another wingless... Shaking his head as a sort of reminder, he warned himself to worry about it less. Kali had met several ground soquilis a few days before. Something told him he'd be seeing too many more to take note of it. Oh, right. "I'm Loki. You are?..."
Twiddle
Kaga noticed the other eyed him for a moment, though he couldn't help but do the same. The stallions tail was what intrigued him most, how very long it was! He shook the thought off as he heard the other speak. "I'm Kaga Kohaku, Kaga for short." He said with a nod. "Nice to meet you." He smiled a little, a bit lost for words. It seemed his recent non-exposure to the other horses had left him a bit dumbstruck at what to say, even though he was one of thier kind he was used to not talking, being with his human companion most of the time.
Cihiru
"Well then. Glad to meet you, Kaga." Loki added an earnest smile, and gave his tail an idle flick. "Am I boring you already?" The stallion tilted his head at the other, giving a teasing, questioning expression. "That's a record, I think. Usually, I at least manage to get past introductions!" he snorted, more at himself than anything, and only in jest anyway. "And to help myself recover - What do you do to pass the time, Mister Kaga?" He hoped at least one line would strike the other as interesting enough to spark conversation. If not, he wasn't sure what else he'd be able to come up with.
Twiddle
Kaga smiled, chuckling a little at Loki, though it was more of an odd nicker. "Well, I haven't really seen many others around lately, excuse my lack of conversation." He said, smiling a bit sheepishly. "And I do what everyone else does for fun; run, swim, eat." He grinned, "That last one is one of my favorites." He chuckled at himself and looked over to Loki again. "And what about you? You look like you had been running." He noted the other stallion had been breathing heavy when they first were introduced, and could see his muscles still flexing with adrenalin of the run.
Cihiru
Loki shook his head. "If anyone should apologize, it's me. For being boring, of course. But I don't much think it's worth worrying over either way." He gave a sort of equine shrug; tilted his head and bowed it in an 'oh well' motion. "Eating for fun? That's a new one." Ears leaning forward curiously, he raised a brow. "Guess I'll try that sometime. And ah, that..." The stallion's gaze strayed for a moment, but he returned it quickly thereafter. "Just trying to stretch a bit. Kali called me fat just last night!" Actually, he knew she'd been joking, but it felt right to reference it anyway. Anyone with functional eyes could see he was well muscled at best, and at least athletic at worst. "Thought I might go run off some of that excess weight. And hey, I think it worked." Loki paced in a small circle, displaying himself for scrutinizing.
Twiddle
Kaga laughed, nodding. "Well, Kali was it? certaintly was wrong when she called you fat. Now me," He did the same, walking in a circle to show off himself, "I'm fat." He chuckled, knowing it wasn't true. He wasn't quite as muscled as Loki, but he was nowhere near fat either. He did have a few excess pounds however, "I think I'd be up for a run, if you'd like to join me." He said, cocking his head to one side slightly, ears perked forward curiously. He hadn't had a really good run in a while, and hey, maybe he really could shed some of those excess pounds.
Cihiru
"Alas..." He gave an exaggerated sigh, ears even drooping slightly. "I don't think I can take you up on that. These tired limbs might object if I tried to make them haul me around at racing speeds much longer." Loki lifted a hoove as he referred to them. "Maybe some other time though, when I'm not feeling fat, lazy, and tired. Besides..." He lifted his nose to the wind, sniffing blatantly, his velvety nostrils flaring. "When lunch calls, you answer!" The decidedly sweet scent was taunting his senses, and didn't show any signs of fading, despite the gentle breeze carrying it away.
Twiddle
Kaga chuckled and nodded. "Alright then," He sniffed the air, catching a faint whiff of what Loki smelled. "Ah, now, that's a passtime I'm the master of." He grinned, trotting towards the smell, following his eager nose, and his even more eager stomach. He had eaten not long ago, but he was always up for another round. He glanced up, and spotted a few rather plump apples sitting in the tree tops, taunting him with thier scent and sight. He backed away from the tree, then lined up one back hoof with the trunk, and hit it hard; leaving a hoof mark in the bark. A few apples fell, and Kaga trotted out of the way, barely escaping one that would have hit him directly on the noggin. He grinned to Loki and picked one up, chomping it away in a few bites.
Cihiru
Loki, on the other hand, hadn't eaten in so long he couldn't remember if it was just (many) hours ago, or the previous day. It all sort of blurred together... All he cared was that it smelled delicious, and was relieved to find it 'ripe for the picking' rather than someone else's afternoon meal. At least, it was a comfort until one of them hit him square on the head. He didn't notice until after, Kaga was dodging incoming fruit assailants. "Should have seen that one coming." He shook off the initial sting, wondering briefly if it hit him hard enough to leave a knot later. Rather than dwelling on it though, he launched an attack of his own against the offender, snapping off a large hunk of fruit.
Twiddle
Kaga laughed, smiling at him apologetically. "I didn't think you were in the line of attack, sorry." He said, chuckling a bit still. He took another apple, eating it a bit slower than the first, though it was still gone in a matter of a couple minutes. "I love the apples this tree has," Kaga explained, and he nodded his head to show Loki the trees trunk. Along with the fresh hoof mark, there was a series of other ones alongside it. "I come here pretty often as you can see." He chuckled and finished off the last of his apple, smacking his lips together as he always did after a good meal.
Cihiru
"No harm done. I don't think, anyway." The apple tasted good enough he wasn't too worried about it, and he too grabbed seconds after finishing off the first. "I can tell," he commented between bites. Apples were something of a treat for him; there weren't any trees near the vicinity he inhabited. At least, not fruit trees like this one, and it was rare for him to happen accross one. Loki made a note to try and remember where they were though; the meal was definately worth the travel.
Twiddle
Kaga smiled, and his ear picked up a sound he'd heard before. He looked around, and spotted a large mountain lion, approaching them quietly. His ears flattened back against his skull, and he snorted, pawing the ground with one hoof. "Loki," He said, keeping his eyes on the predator, "stand back." He watched as the cat came running at him, the feline knew he'd been spotted, so he jumped and tried to wrap his large paws around Kaga's neck. Kaga wouldn't let it happen though; he turned as the cat flew through the air, and bucked him in the jaw.
Cihiru
He wasn't sure if the faint rustle of moving wildlife or the way Kaga peered around alerted him more, but he took no hesitation in doing the same. Loki's eyes must have fallen on the creature about the same time as the other's, because his ears pinned too, and he lowered his head agressively. Kaga's words fell on mostly deaf ears though; he didn't care to listen. Stand back? Not likely. This was an animal for which he felt no remorse. The sight of it sparked a fire in his eyes; it had been a while. The stallion pushed himself up into a rear, hovering briefly before his forelegs came crashing against the ground. He barreled toward the fallen feline then, warning it to run before he had opportunity to trample it.
Twiddle
Kaga was a bit surprised by the other's actions. He hadn't expected Loki to challenge the cat, as he was used to most other Soquili being afraid of the predators. He pushed the thoughts aside, looking at the cat, which, like Loki, didn't want to back down. "Not likely, horse." The cat growled at him, running to meet Loki head on. He jumped, trying to avoid the horses hooves, his jaw pounding with pain from Kaga's hoof.
Cihiru
It spoke to him? His disgust made him slide to a stop, pulling his haunches beneath him to center his balance. He failed to anticipate the leap though, and found the cat launching at him before he could react.
Twiddle
Kaga spotted the cat pouncing, and they all knew he had an opening as Loki stopped. Kaga was swift; but not swift enough. He managed to knock the beast off course as he ran at it, but it still got a hold of Loki's neck and back. Kaga snorted at it, but didn't try to kick or rear at it, he knew he'd end up hitting Loki instead. He watched, helpless, hoping Loki could help himself.
Cihiru
It was ok, he knew it would get ahold of him when he saw it jump. Telling himself it was going to happen made it a little easier to say it didn't hurt. He could deal with the sting, and had a better time keeping a cool head and the voice of reason. He had to stay calm. Loki reared again, lashing at the air with his forelegs. To his disappointment, the feline's grip didn't loosen. Rather, what he was sure was a pair of jaws clamped a muscle in his neck. Well, maybe it wasn't jaws, but this was pain he wasn't prepared for. He whinnied involuntarily, and tried to chase away his desperation. Think. Blood was beginning to stream down his leg... Think, think! Ah, yes. The stallion sidestepped quickly, throwing his weight against a tree and, hopefully, the cat too.
Twiddle
Kaga cringed and walked frantically from side to side, wishing he could help. He watched as the cat sunk it's jaws into his new friend, and he snorted and reared, though stayed where he was. His ears perked up though, as he watched Loki smash the cat into the tree. From the weight of the two together, the tree shook violently, and a bunch of apples fell from the tree tops. A few hit the cat on the head, making him lossen his iron grip on the stallion. He fell off the horse, and ran as fast as he could from the two horses and thier tree. Kaga reared in voctory, and trotted over to Loki, "Are you alright??" He asked, looking over his new friend.
Cihiru
Loki gave a heavy sigh as the cat took off for the hills, not daring to look back. "I've been better." He hadn't realized he was breathing so heavily; his sides heaved, and he could have sworn he heard his heart pounding around somewhere. "Been worse too though." The stallion managed a small smile, but he bent his neck the best he could to... well, observe the weight of the destruction. The claw holes weren't too bad, he was pleased to see. Just punctures with small tears; no gaping holes or anything. It was the bite on his neck that was producing the stream of blood spiraling down his leg. Oh, and causing that burning stiffness in his muscles. He could walk just fine though, and that was a definate bonus. "Could probably use a bath or something though. I smell positively disgusting." Blood had a horrible scent.
Twiddle
Kaga nodded a little. "Well at least you're alright, for the most part." He motoned Loki to follow him, and he walked in the direction he knew had a lake near it. "There's a lkae not too far, you can get cleaned up then. The smell of blood is just going to atrract more predators, so we should hurry." He said with a slight nod, not wanting to go through that ordeal again.
Cihiru
Loki was having a hard time deciding if he was satisfied with the outcome. Part of him was fairly certain he would have killed it, and maybe even wanted to kill it. Another part was far more compassionate, and miniscule though it was, it did make him wonder. "Lead the way." He didn't much want to fuss with talking about the potiental of other predators arriving, nor did he feel it an appropriate opportunity for casual conversation. He just wanted to follow quietly and have the tension end.
Twiddle
Kaga nodded a little, glancing back to Loki. He knew the stallion was still young, and it had shaken him pretty badly. He wasn't sure if he had ever been in contact with a cougar before, but even if he hadn't, Kaga hoped neither of them would again. After a few minutes of silent walking, Kaga turned and stopp, motioning with his head to where the lake was. "Right through here." He said, walking through the last patch of trees and brush, coming out to a large lake, the sun glistening off the waters surface.
Cihiru
He had seen a mountain lion once before. Well, he hadn't seen it so much as he remembered it. It was hard to forget, actually. The creature had killed his mother, and he wasn't likely to forget that any time soon. He tried not to think about it though; Loki found dwelling on it made him guilty, and feeling guilty made him irritable. Even moreso than usual. He wasn't fond of that. "Thank you." The lake seemed a little surreal; so calm and undisturbed. He didn't worry about marring a picture perfect scene though, and walked straight into the pool instead. Water was comforting against his coat, and soohted muscles that were beginning to tighten in protest.
Twiddle
Kaga nodded and watched him for a moment, though he wanted to leave Loki in peace for a bit. He had an idea, "I'm gonna go grab some of those apples that fell. No use putting them to waste." He said with a grin, and trotted off back towards the tree. He didn't eat any apples though, and he remained by the marred tree for a while before returning with the fruit, hoping to give Loki some privacy.
