Even though the forest quaked with the power of the explosion, none of it was disturbed. Eddie had thrown the Foretress into the air before it exploded, only damaging the ozone above. Now there was only the Ursaring, and it made itself known with a roar, that ripped down trees, blew pokemon back, and made the earth quake. Eddie looks at the Ursaring and lets out a roar of his own. Not of the same magnitude, but made an impact on his sanity, possibly losing a bit more.

Eddie pushes himself off the ground with his newfound strength, and flies along the ground with good speed. He then puts his sword around a circle and it hits the ground and he pushes himself faster, flying through the air even faster. The Ursaring, still roaring, is kicked right in the mouth, and sent flailing and rolling across the ground, going into the air occasionally. Dirt flies everywhere, and rocks topple as the Ursaring hits a rock formation some distance back.

Eddie gets up and looks around at the damage done to the scarred land, then sees the pool of water and he brings a bottle out of his pocket and fills it up with the water, then walks over to Sceptile. "You still got some powder, right?" he asks. Sceptile nods and holds up the bottle. "Good, because I'm gonna need it in a little bit." he says, then starts walking for the Lake of Rage. "I got a Red Gyarados to slay." he pockets the red water and sheathes his Zweihander for now.

Eddie lunges again at the Gyarados, watching for a tail, and having his sword ready. The Gyarados does just as he wants and goes to smack him, but Eddie stabs his sword through the tail, all the way to the hand. Gyarados roars out in pain and smacks the tail into the water, also slamming Eddie underwater, the man still hanging onto the sword for dear life. He pulls it out and grabs the tail, then actually pulls the Gyarados under the water, but is greeted with a hyper beam to the front, sending him out of the water, and at least fifty feet into the air until he starts falling back down to earth. He hits the ground with a large thump, and making dirt fly all over.

At this point, Eddie has forgotten about the fact that he needs a scale from this thing, and not to kill it. He grabs onto one of the fangs and yanks, making the fang go farther into the Gyarados. To this, the monster lets out a hellacious roar, destroying Eddie's ear drums and knocking him off of the Gyarados and into the water. Eddie stabs his sword into the Gyarados and uses it as a step to get back onto the Gyarados, who unlatched itself from its own body and is moving its body in a violent wave way, snapping Eddie off of its body, him and his sword flying back to shore. Eddie is definitely not pleased.

At this point, Sceptile is watching in disbelief. His master is taking down a enraged red Gyarados.

Sceptile puts the cap on the bottle and quickly digs a hole and puts it in and covers it. Eddie lunges at Sceptile swinging his sword wildly, the rage not subsiding. Sceptile keeps blocking the sword with its blade, and with its free hand, grabs a handful of powder. He then raises a protect barrier and the sword flies out of Eddie's hand, and he steps back a step, his body open. Sceptile then jumps and shoves the powder in his face, around his nasal region, and holds Eddie to the ground, but is headbutted and sent flying half a football field away.

Eddie closes his eyes, then opens them again and groans. "Ugh, that stuff really does a number on someone." he says, then looks around at the scene, a bloodied Red Gyarados, scarred land, and...SCEPTILE?! Eddie jumps to his feet and rushes over to Sceptile, holding its claw. "Damn, this was too dangerous!" he yells, then returns the fallen pokemon. If he had the ability, he'd be able to go into rage mode himself, but instead, he grabs his zweihander and bounds over to the Red Gyarados and peels a large scale off its back and calls out Skarmory. He hops on and makes his way back to Stark Mountain.

Gandalfr comes into the med room, with a vial full of red powder. "Okay, it's time for the final test of the intermediate course." he says, then walks out of the med room, to the outside of the mountain. "We're gonna need plenty of room for that." he says. Eddie gets off of the bed and follows Gandalfr out of the mountain, up the side of the mountain, and the summit of Stark Mountain. Up here, everything can be seen, the forest around the mountain, the resort area, the battle tower, it was serene.

"Okay, just put this in your mouth and swallow it." Gandalfr says, then hands the vial to Eddie and grabs his Zweihander. "I'm gonna have to fight you, and you're gonna have to fight yourself for control." he says.

Eddie grabs the vial and downs it all in one gulp. "Here I come." he says. He then raises his head up to the sky and looks back down, his eyes are glazed over, his muscles all tensed, and his Zweihander in his hand.

As Eddie plummets back to earth, he readies his sword and times it perfectly, bringing the sword down on Gandalfr's head, but is blocked by the sword again. Gandalfr pushes Eddie off and jumps at him, smacking him into the earth. As he lands though, he's skewered by Eddie again, right through the right arm. He yells out in pain again, now his Ire actually activates as a result. Though he can't use his sword, Gandalfr puts his giant sword in his left hand and hits Eddie's sword with his own, making a clang, and forcing Eddie's sword to the ground. "WAKE. UP!" he yells into Eddie's face, trying to reach his subconscious.

Inside Eddie's head, the rational Eddie has the rage Eddie down on the ground, pounding his fist into the fake's head, then throws him into one of the walls projecting the image. "You're gonna have to go!" he yells, then grabs him again and throws him into the back part of the brain, where there is complete blackness. A scream of defeat is vocalized, but then stops.

Outside, Eddie releases the sword and falls to the ground, still breathing, but sleeping. Gandalfr looks at Eddie and sighs, then lets himself calm down. He picks up Eddie and his sword and walks back to the inside of the mountain. "This kid had better be worth the trouble." he says.
