I don't thing Mandrake is a good nickname for a roselia. Your lucky to have a shiny one as i've been trying ages to get a shiny one of anything. Look alone for more mythlogical names which can be in any language

Its perfectly fine as i can always get in contact with my friend over more of the pearl pokemon as i am missing quite a few of the pearl only such as misdrevous and cranidos. I caught a pokemon last night that i had never even heard of before while trying for shinies.

How bout Rosie Or Sakura It means cherry blsom in japanese or demeter the greek goddess of crops and harvest.(by the way ur really lucky)
