Going to try to incorporate the Norwegian heritage into the dress too, since Sig Hansen (the Captain of the Northwestern) has Norwegian heritage. Suiting, eh?

Listening to the instrumentals of various different songs makes me want to watch the movies they go to. *sighs* So many movies! So little time!

I got the basic outline of a traditional Norwegian dress (bunad - if you want to be technically correct, heh). I just need to do the coloring of it now.
But anyway... I'm going to head to bed. So nighty night. xd

I should go take a shower real quick, so that I'll be ready and all for when Dad wants to go to town after he's had lunch. So I'll be back in a bit.

I'm back.
Decided I'm going to adventure into the Quizzes forum to see if there's anything new in there, since it's been such a long time since I went over into that forum. smile

I'm off to eat some lunch. Since Dad's already on the couch eating his lunch watching the news. So... I better go eat my lunch, that way he doesn't have to wait around to go to town.

I'm back from lunch. Not sure how long I'll be around before we head off to town though.

Sorry... I'm taking notes of various quotes about wolves from our text. I'm so glad that there was a preview available for Fools Crow, so I could search "wolf" and "wolves" in the text. Amazing how many references to the wolf there are. Even later on in the story beyond where I've gotten to.
I'm starting to think this paper might turn out a bit better than I originally thought it might. biggrin

La di da... well, I certainly won't have any problem taking care of using quotes from the texts this time around. 3nodding And already I can see some connections on themes between different quotes I've written down.
Like in Fools Crow, the wolf that attacks One Spot could be connected to a poem called "Snow Country Weavers" ((both the book and poem are done by the same author)) where it mentions wolves dieing on the door step because of the winter chasing the meat away. And the "dieing on the doorstep" part can be connect to another poem where it actually talks about a wolf being coaxed out of the woman's lodge and being hit in the head, to kill it. 3nodding
And of course there's some quotes I've found that I could connect with the Quileute tribe and their wolf myths.
