Is it time for me to go home yet? *sighs* I've been so done with today barely within an hour of my shift. Not because it's gone terribly. Or no! It's actually been quite nice and relaxing. I was able to finish everything before 11 AM today. No, I'm just ready to go home because my mood is been a bit down today.

I'm making good progress on the Skulduggery book. Probably a couple more nights of reading and I'll be finished with it.

Our Activities Director has already started to decorate a little bit for Christmas. We've got the tree up in the living room, a few decorations on the table by the bookcase, and she's decorated the archway "window" by the Ice Cream Parlor. I'm glad to see she found some snowflakes to use to decorate the wall around it. I kept looking for some when she mentioned it but was never able to find anything, at least in the price range she wanted and would've worked on the walls we have.

I wonder when my parents want to put up our own Christmas decorations...

I've barely seen one of our residents today. The one I currently call our "Trouble Child". I briefly saw him this afternoon after I returned from my lunch break when he finally came down to get his cigarettes. Then I haven't seen him since. In the past, he usually wanders around, hanging out with some of our other younger residents (usually the ones that smoke as well). Not today apparently.

I don't know what's worse... having a resident listen to music (usually in the rap genre) extremely loud or have her use headphones but have to listen to her sing terribly off-key. *sighs*

Thank goodness she's finally done listening to her music.

I got to have Doc play with one of his mouse toys for awhile today. It was pretty cool. xd

Some of the residents are so impatient when it comes to the elevators, especially during a time where they're in high demand (i.e. right now with meds and dinner time drawing near).

"Trouble Child": Can I have my one o' clock cigarette? Me: I already gave it to you. "Trouble Child": But remember when you said you wouldn't give it to me? Me: I already gave it to you. "Trouble Child": Oh.
Because when you came to get your "morning" three cigarettes around 1 p.m., you asked for your 1 o' clock cigarette too and was throwing a mini tantrum about me saying to wait for it. And since I was in no mood to debate with you, I just went ahead and gave it to you. rolleyes

It's a little weird making the bulletin board slideshow when I don't even know when the TV screen will be back up and running like normal.
