"Still I feel so bad" Amity said before she shivered as a long roar went out. It sounded neither hungry or blood thirst just mad. Putting her hand on the ground she sent a wave of ice to the door. At the bottom of the entrice ice started to grow and climb up fulling the space and make it a thick wall of cold ice. She hoped it would hold off how every made that sound. "Hopful that will help" she said looking back at him, "how are you doing do you need water?" she touched his head and gentle moved her fingers through his hair. She felt the ground shake now and then but she just guessed it was the ruins falling apart.

"You shouldn't feel bad. Someone eventually would have done the same thing we did. We just get the honor of being the first ones to do so."
He chuckled lightly as he enjoyed the feel of her fingers in his hair. Cris really was alright....but he was enjoying the attention until he remembered that she was simply trying to make sure he was okay....and it was nothing more than that.
He sighed and sat up slowly.
"Water would be good. Just a bit parched."
Cris looked around at the area and was surprised that even though everything was shaking, this place was holding up very well.
"I wonder what this place is....a temple? Or a leaders home?"

Amity got to her feet and handed him the water skin. "if you need to rest just tell me" she said as she started to look around. To her it looked like it could be a mix of a temple and a leaders home. "will since we are suck here should we look around and see if we can find anything to help us out" she said as she moved her hair behind her ears. Another load close roar made her jump and hug his arm. She was going to stay close to him for now. "Sorry" she said looking at him as she blessed. She did not know what was out there but for now she felt safe with Cris and in this strange place. Looking down one of the halls she pointed and nodded. "lets look down there" she said

He took the waterskin with a thanks, and uncorked it before he took a small drink. He didn't want to drink too much as they would have to ration water and such, because he didn't know how long they would be trapped in here. As there was another rumble and a roar, she was suddenly hugging his arm and blushing. He couldn't help but feel a bit giddy as she was cute and he would be able to be her protector for a bit. "Do not worry. It's alright." As she pointed down a hallway, he got up and helped her to her feet. Cris allowed her to hold onto his arm as he lead the way down the hall she wanted to look around in. "I wonder if there is also another exit?"

Amity was happy to hug his arm as they walked. She felt safe, but there was something about holding his arm that just felt right in every way. As they walked she looked at all the old deginsh loving the details put in to them. "I hope so we can't go out the way we came...sure I could move the ice but we don't know whats out there" she said to him as she saw a few doors coming up, "shall we see whats in them?"

Cris looked at the designs as well and knew a few symbols. He nodded at her question and lead her to one of the doors. "Let's try this one?" He looked at the symbol and could only tell that the carving resembled a child. Perhaps a child's room? He opened the door carefully and peeked in. When nothing happened he opened the door more and they found themselves in a nursery. Not for one child, but for many. "Looks like numerous children were cared for. Perhaps the nursery here watched the holds children as parents worked?"

Amity let him go in first before she came in and started looking around. It was such and cute room and it that was the idea for the room to be used to watch kids as there parents worked; she loved it. Many places could use some thing like this to help out parents in a lot of ways. "I wish we could talk to some one from the past and ask them but guessing is all we can do right now" she said as she saw some thing that looked like a toy and picked it up. She smiled and began playing with it before putting it down. This made her wish she had a better brother or sister to play with....or a own kid.....but she was not ready for that. "a room like this would be wonderland for kids to play in" she said smiling at Cris, "you have any brothers or sisters?"

Cris looked around the room and moved over some debris that was on the floor. "....Unfortunatly no, I do not have any siblings. Not anymore." He picked up a book and raised a brow as it was written in the language they had seen on the wall when they woke up that beast. It was a picture book about...numbers and magic. "I lost my siblings during the great war. One sister and one brother." He looked over at her. "do you have siblings?"

"I am sorry to hear that" Amity said looking at him, "you must miss them very much." She went back to looking around the room and found a cute little child dress made out of some thing she did not know. But it felt smooth, soft and cold. "No I am a only child" she said with a sad smile, "My parents where under a curse when I was born. All most did a few times...once in child birth and then just growing up. My parents did not want to risk losing child to the curse so they did not have any more....then my father passed away when I was sixteen."

"I am sorry your family was under a curse. I am also sorry you lost your father...but be glad you have at least one parent." He looked at the dress she held and then looked around one last time. "Let's check out the other rooms."

Amity nodded as she put the dress down and headed out of the room to go look at others. "Friend can be like family" she said, "that is What Yamille told me. She said her best friend is her sister of bond and she could not be happier with that. Maybe your friends are your new family." She smiled as him before looking at the symbols above the doors and saw one of a scroll that made her face light up as she ran to the door. Getting to the door she waited for Cris to catch up before she opened it. She was hoping it was what she thought it was for if it was it would be a dream come true.

Cris eventually caught up to Amity and looked at the door she was standing at.
He tried to read it, but he could not read the symbol.
"Do you know what that means?"
Seeing her excitedness had him smirking.
"I'm guessing you do. Care to shareor will I find out?"

Amity smiled at him as she opened the doors which opened to a large three level room fulled with stone tablets and leather scrolls. If Amity was a cartoon character she would be bouncing off the walls, floor and celling with joy. Instead she just jumped up and down where she was. This where a place of knowledge and she could tell every thing was still in very good condition. "its either a libray or a where they make scrolls and tablets" she said entering and starting to look around. She hoped one had the blue parits of this place to help them find a way out or what things they had awakened.

Cris whistled as he was impressed with what he was seeing. He had never seen such a room! Every nook and cranny on the shelves were stuffed with books and scrolls, all which looked like they were in good condition thanks to some sort of preservation spell. "How about you look through the scrolls and I hit the books over there. Perhaps we can find something on monsters or myths?"

"Deal" Amity said looking at him, "lets hope we can find some thing good." She could not help but run to the scrolls as she started to look at them. There was so many of them and there was so many different langues too. She took a few and put them down on a table and started to read through them. Many where about the people and there way of life here. There was so much to read and know now. "how are the books going?" she asked as she opened another scroll and started to sneeze like mad.
