 I've already done all of my work tasks for the day aside from reminding residents of their appointments (which I do in the afternoon). So, now I'm just trying to find things to do to keep my entertained until the end of my shift.

Wish I could lean back in my chair but Austin has taken up most of it, so the angle I would have to lean back isn't the most comfortable. sweatdrop

Sounds like our cook for the day had called in sick. That's why our Activities Director ended up having to come in to cover. Not sure where the other cook is but guess he wasn't available to come in himself.

Today certainly is going to be interesting.
Oh, and apparently the temperature for one of the walk-in coolers ended up not matching up with what it should be, so some of the milk and other items they had in there got spoiled. *sighs*

*sighs* I have to keep "rescuing" one of our residents from the elevator. She pushes the button to call for an elevator (so she can go to her room) but gets in and forgets to push the button for her floor. So, eventually you hear her knocking from inside the elevator, pushing her walker into the door.

I realized that the day that our facility is having their Carnival Fair is the same day I'm planning on going to RCCC. Oh well.
Always sucks when multiple events are happening at the same time. Or something is happening when I'm having to work and don't have the ability to request time off for it.
