Working at the library would be awesome. Close to home, pay is great, working with something I love ((Hi, Bookworm here!)), and it sounds like scheduling is pretty accommodating to everyone's needs ((so I could work around my volunteer shifts)).

The residents at the assisted living keep asking me if I would consider taking on the weekdays when the other main receptionist retires. I keep telling them that it just depends on where I am in my life at the moment.
I know that the residents absolutely adore me and often go out of their way to coordinate things with me personally than deal with the other receptionist ((who seems to be getting more cranky lately than usual - just based on what I've been hearing from them)). So, I completely understand that they would love to see me more and have someone who will actually take the time to get everything coordinated the way they want it. However, I don't know if I would want to work all 7 days from 8 - 5. More money, yes. More PTO hours as a result meaning better chance of getting time off to go to cons and other events, yeah. But it would mean no time for myself outside of work (if I wasn't able to get days off for whatever reason) and I would have to give up my shifts at the shelter (which I don't want to do - I love the particular days I work). However, I suppose I could consider it if I wasn't able to work around my volunteer shifts and/or have the weekend off.
That's probably the main con about working at the assisted living with my current position - having to work weekends. Especially when you start realizing how many of the events you regularly attend end up taking place on weekends. Even more of an adjustment when you don't have as much flexibility of getting days off to go to something like you did with the theater.

Anyway... I'm sure everything will fall into place the way I would like them to when the time arrives to make the ultimate decision. Plus who knows what will be going on in my life when it does come. I may have different concerns then than what I do now.
The planning progress for our 10 year high school reunion has begun. Still in the very early planning stages but it's definitely been interesting seeing some of my former classmates and seeing how much they've changed (or haven't - aside from being married and/or having kids). There's even some that takes me awhile to really look through their photos before I realize "Oh! That's ------! Wow!"

The following article is in regards to Cursed Child. DO NOT READ THE ARTICLE IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED READING IT!
And since there will be SPOILERS involved, I will be making my responses in a spoiler tag.
Question #1 Draco had a sense of humor... a sarcastic one. So, Scorpius could definitely get the witty aspect from his father. Otherwise, I would expect he got it from his mother. We don't know much about his mother or what she's like.
Question #2 Chocolate isn't meant to be a cure. It's just a means of relieving pain and a boost of energy after a traumatic, stressful situation. There's plenty of scientific research going on that proves that it's a good reliever.
Question #3 Do we really need to question whether Umbridge is still wearing pink or not? It doesn't matter how dark things get around her, she'll still find a way to wear pink. Heck, she'll probably just wearing a darker tone of pink, just to show she's giving an attempt to match everyone else's grim attire.
Question #4 Because I'm sure there's a Harry Potter-oriented day existing somewhere in the wizarding world, even if it is just tied in with the Battle of Hogwarts memorial. So, obviously in an alternate universe, you would have to have a day for Voldemort.
As for how the Great Hall looks? I suspect a Gothic atmosphere - dark and gloomy. Maybe some Death Marks and snake imagery thrown in.
Question #5 I actually think this is a good point to be questioning about because different types of bread do actually have different smells to them.
Question #6 This is a play script, not a book. So, you have to be limited with how much detailed information you put into the context. Primarily a script will focus on the spoken content and brief overviews of setting and effects - that way the cast know what to say and the set designers and sound/light directors know what to work on to create the scene. Everything else is up for interpretation (i.e. who wears what) unless a certain attire is important for a scene in the play.
This story primarily focuses on the main characters - Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco - and their offspring. All of the other characters are minor and only appear if it adds to the story. Plus you've got to take into consideration that most play productions try to keep their cast to a relatively small number (even having some members play multiple roles). So, although we love those Hufflepuffs, they're just going to be those background characters.
Plus I'm pretty sure Rowling's "Age of Hufflepuff" comment is primarily directed towards the Fantastic Beasts film. She's probably pretty excited about debuting her first product that she's helped screen-write and producer. Not to mention, see a small charity companion book become a major film production... which may end up creating more sequel films (from the last I heard in regards to it).
Question #7 & #8 Professor Croaker may be the same Croaker we briefly were introduced to (more like Arthur Weasley pointed him out) in the original books. And his law wasn't about the limit of hours you can travel back in time; it was more in regards to how far back in time you can go without messing up history - without stepping on butterflies, so to speak.
Anyway, the main issue I have in regards to these two questions is the information they have regarding the Time Turners in CC. The Time Turner we know from Prisoner of Azkaban was a professionally made one. Thus the manners it works is understandable and reliable. The Time Turner in the beginning of the CC is a prototype... and made for the black market ((Come on, people, we know how Lucius Malfoy liked working through such markets!)). As a result, all of the kinks haven't been worked out yet - thus you have the five minute limit before it brings you right back to present day. (Time travel is a tricky thing to work out especially in such a compact item.) Draco Malfoy even mentioned that it was a prototype after discovering the final product his Dad had received. Who knows how well the finalized black market Time Turner works in comparison to a professionally made one that Hermione used. It may have some unknown issues itself that could cause problems later on down the road.
Question #9 Eh... I'm sure McGonagall as the Headmistress let it slide. Not to mention, Harry works for the Ministry of Magic and it's his son he's seeing... so... *shrugs*
Question #10 Are you kidding me?! Yes, there's a bloody cemetery! Albus Dumbledore has his White Tomb - his grave - on the grounds of Hogwarts (specifically the island in the middle of the lake). I'm sure they would've expanded on it for the "Fallen Fifty."
Question #11 Snape, Fred, Remus, Tonks, Colin Creevey, Lavender Brown, and Vincent Crabbe may be among this number. It also depends on whether they are including those on Voldemort's side too or not (because Bellatrix then would be included as well as a few other Death Eaters). Every one else were probably people Harry didn't know personally - students he didn't interact with on a regular basis, members of Order of the Phoenix, staff members, and/or residents of Hogsmeade.
Question #12, 13, & 14 Yeah... this is probably the only aspect of the story that seemed a bit off for me. For me, I thought the whole relationship between Voldemort and Bellatrix was unrequited love. Bellatrix was constantly flirting with him, doing anything to get his attention. But I always thought Voldemort was too focused on gaining more power and killing Harry Potter to even consider doing anything romantically. He always seemed to brush her off.
But from what I've read so far of people investigating how it fits with the rest of the books... there's actually pretty good evidence that it could have happened. Either way, Rowling has proclaimed this story as canon. So... Voldie and Trixy had a daughter. Huh... still interesting to think about.
Question #15-17 See my response for Question #6.
Question #18 I personally am surprised Hermione was teaching Defense Against Dark Arts. I always imagined she would end up taking on Muggle Studies or the Runes class, if she was to teach at Hogwarts, since she seemed fascinated with those. Especially since she helped translate Tales From Beedle The Bard (what a perfect nudge it wouldn't been towards that companion book, if she had been given that subject instead). However, I'm not too surprised by her strict personality. It reminded me quite a bit of McGonagall with a hint of Snape.
Question #19 End of Harry Potter? Yeah, I think Rowling has finally put his tales to rest. But for the rest of the Wizarding World? Maybe not. After all, we've got Fantastic Beasts coming out soon. Rowling may decide to expand further on Newt Scamander's life... or expand more on the new characters we're being introduced to. Especially since she's recently been revealing details about other wizarding schools specifically Ilvermony. It may end up just being more short stories like she's been doing lately... but still it's something.
So... I ended up buying a new car yesterday. A 2003 Volkswagen Jetta.
I named her "Luna".
Still in that adjusting mode of accepting the fact that I will eventually have to say a final farewell to my old car, "Destiny" - a 1996 Ford Taurus. cry

I think it's harder for me because "Destiny" has been my first and only car for the past 9-some years.
Snippet of a conversation I just had with one of my exes:
Him: Have you seen The Little Prince movie? Me: No, I haven't. Him: Oh. I'm a bit surprised by that actually. Well it will be on Netflix on Friday if it interests you. Me: Why does that surprise you? Him: I don't know, I just thought of it as the sort of thing that you would watch. Me: Hmm. Him: It's a really beautiful little story. Me: So I've heard.

So random...
I'm sure there's a lot of things that seem like something I would enjoy but have never seen or read or heard of. Especially popular things like The Little Prince. Different people were raised and exposed to different things than I was. So...
And why suddenly contact me to ask me that question? Like what if I said "Yes"? What would he have wanted to talk about if I had seen/read Little Prince? And whoopie-do, so what if it's on Netflix? There's a lot of things on Netflix that I probably would enjoy. I just don't have the time to watch it. I barely have time to read... or catch up on my own TV shows.

Then because of our high school reunion happening soon, a lot of my former classmates have suddenly wanted to add me as a friend. Okay, fine, I'll do it for the time being... but I'm sure over time I'll eventually remove them because I've never been close to them since high school and don't expect to any time soon. Those who were meant to be close friends are in my life now.
One of the people I approved their friend request didn't even graduate with me. They are in the year after us. And he started conversing with me today. Like... I don't even remember you, dude! And all of the questions you're asking are either something you could easily just look at my profile for the answers... or are "duh!" questions. Do I like reading? Am I smart? Seriously?! Why would ask those questions?! I had a freaking Ravenclaw photo cover up for a period of time. That should give you a clue on where I stand. Not to mention the amount of education I have.
I don't know if there's something in the air or what but it seems like all of these guys are being random with their sudden interest in contacting me. I'm feeling like the female that all of the guys are trying to flaunt their skills and what not for me.
If that's the case, stop. Just stop. I'm not interested in any of you.
