You know things at the theater are getting bad enough that the last few remaining senior floor staff are questioning whether they want to stay or not. And I'm one of them. xd
Once I get more comfortable with my new position and happy with it, I'm planning on dropping my theater position. With this new job, I'll getting essentially the same number of hours per week as I've been getting at the theater... but I'm being paid more. Plus the work environment will be more suitable to my personality - a bit more laidback and limited interaction with others. And what social interaction I do have, it'll mostly be with the residents... and hopefully there won't be any rudeness that I often get at the theater.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me.
Early afternoon is my friend's wedding shenanigans (photoshoot, ceremony, reception). Then after that I'll be heading to Wizard World Portland Comic Con. Planning on getting a group autograph from the cast of Critical Role (at least the ones that are appearing). I would like to get an autograph from Terry Brooks too... but I don't know if I'll be able to have the time to get it or not, especially since he's only at the con for a short period of time. sad I'll be attending Matt Smith's panel on Saturday late afternoon... and then Sunday he's having his regular (non-VIP) photo op session.

Since Matt Smith's photo-op is Sunday, I decided that I'm not going to bother coming home after my friends' wedding stuff to change into my River Song cosplay. I'll just go straight to the con afterwards. Since we're wearing casual attire for the wedding, it won't be that big of a deal... plus what I'm wearing is sort of River Tam-esque. So... I'm semi-cosplaying? Or maybe Firefly-bounding? I don't know. sweatdrop
I will be wearing my River Song cosplay on Sunday though for the photo-op.

My parents are still not getting the idea that my friends' wedding isn't going to be some big event thing. It's just a quick ceremony and a quick reception. rolleyes
I'm allowing enough time to do wedding stuff with my friends and still be able to do some of the things I wanted to do at the con. I'm just thankful that scheduling for some of the major aspects I'm wanting to do (i.e. photo-op with Matt Smith, autograph with Critical Role, etc.) are happening a reasonable amount of time after wedding stuff.

You know things are getting serious when you get an e-mail from your theater's human resources asking if you've noticed any employees violating policy, treating others unfairly, and anything else you have concerns about.
Very intriguing to say the least...

And a bit concerning at the same time because there's so many people at the theater right now that could have sparked an incident report about.
It's a bit sad when you think about it. No wonder morale is so low right now and all of the good people are leaving.
