Du waited for the train to arrive and looked down at the dress that she had gotten yesterday, she felt so strange wearing it, but at the same time it felt kind of natural too. She was wondering if anyone was picking up on the fact that she wasn’t what she was displaying herself to be, but nobody seemed to give her even so much as a second look. They probably just looked at her as though she was just another girl waiting for the train to go on a pokemon adventure. The idea of that was a very comforting one and it made Du a little more relieved that things were going as well for her as they seemed to be. Things really did seem to turn around for the better when after Du was persuaded to try out Coordinating instead of battling. Perhaps it was a sign that she was finally getting her life figured out and on track? She would happily accept that as an answer and move on from here. Du was pulled from her thoughts when the train arrived and announced its destination. Du waited for the others to get off the train before finding an open seat near the window. She wondered if Isis was enjoying herself at the faire right now or if she was still with Zero?

Gio entered the Northern half of the Lumiose City when the more smaller than normal Pineco started to squirm abut heavily. "Your an active one aren't you?" it seemed like the Bug liked to eat its weight and then crash out for a power nap. He knew for sure he couldn't call her Pineco even though she was more of the same size of a Pinecone than normal Pineco. Gio opened up the hand made do it yourself sling he had the Pokemon in only to be met by very bright and happy eyes. "Well hello there little one" he said assuming this one had to have been still freshly hatched to be trusting him this quickly after only having rescued her from a miscaring and misunderstanding shop owner. "do you have a name yet?" if he could understand Pokemon then he would know that the tiny thing was confused as to what a name even was. "How does Cerrobend sound?" he stated before explains why, "Since I'm a Steel Type Trainer and one day if you want to you can be a Steel Type. Plus Pineco are normally found in forests so Cerrobend is a type of metal made out of wood"
None of what Gio just said made any sense to the little girl but she was happy to see something that was going to take her on an adventure she shook gleefully to which Gio was assuming she was accepting of her name.

Brian scrunched up his face a bit. "What about me?" he asked, smiling. Mel raised an eyebrow and pursed her lips together as she smirked back at him. "What? You think I'm going to trust you with getting around?" she teased back. He grinned. "Well, I've done more traveling than you, haven't I?" he pointed out, tilting his head and flashing a winsome grin back at her. She rolled her eyes a bit, but shrugged. "S'pose that's true," she admitted, eying him as he gave a big jump to the side to duck a group of girls, "I'm not sure you're quite... 'focused' enough for the task, though." She raised an eyebrow and gave him a look, which made him casually look off to the side, and pop his lollipop back into his mouth.

Brian placed his hands behind his head, making Lucy quickly hop over to Mel's shoulder to avoid losing her balance, and looked up at the sky. ".... Hey, didn't your sister say that Blue had good moves or something?" he commented after a moment, looking curiously at Mel. She raised an eyebrow and glanced over at him with an unimpressed expression-- he was talking through that lollipop again. "What moves does he even know?" She blinked a bit, looking past the whole... manners thing, and actually paused to think about it. "... You know, I'm not certain," she remarked in surprise, but pulled out her pokedex, "Let me... see if I can work this thing to figure it out..." Honestly, she almost wished that she'd asked Fenris to take a look at this before she left, show her how to use it. She was pretty good at engineering and seh wasn't even bad at technical stuff, but he was better. He'd probably catch on more quickly, or at least know the first few 'go to's on checking to find out how it worked.

The alert didn't wake him but the conductor shaking him awake did the trick. Thanking the older man he made sure all the Pokeballs were on his belt and his pack he rose and went into the station. The one he had been on was designated just for the festival and wasn't letting anyone on at this point in time. Instead it went back empty and would later return with more trainers and people from the fair. Instead of heading to an open area to send out Yveltal but instead he went into the tall grass in order to see what Pokemon he could find to maybe train up Whirlipede to maybe have him evolve by the time they got home. Out in the tall grass he sent Whirlipede out and the pair searched the tall grass until they came upon a Skiddo. That was great as grass was weak to poison. Whirlipede got ready for battle.

The wild Skiddo stomped its hooves as Whirlipede slid into place in front of Simon. With Whirlipede being poison the grass Pokemon was in trouble. Spinning Whirlipede struck out with his tail doing double damage, he even scored the poison. Skiddo charged at Whirlipede knocking him back a few feet and stumbling a bit taking some damage. Unlike Lairon it seemed that Skiddo's ability didn't protect it from that recoil damage. Another poison tail attack and the poison wasn't needed as Skiddo finished itself off. Cheering Whirlipede on Simon used several potions to bring him to full health before the search started again.

Before they continued there was a beeping letting him know that Seedot was finally evolving. Sending out Seedot they watched as he evolved into Nuzleaf. "Nuzleaf the wily Pokemon. This Pokemon pulls out the leaf on its head and makes a flute with it. The sound of Nuzleaf's flute strikes fear and uncertainty in the hearts of people lost in a forest." Reaching into his bag Simon removed a Leaf Stone. "You only learn this one move as your last stage so here." Nuzleaf looked really happy to be getting stronger still and took the stone placing it against his body until he started to evolve again. Finally he reached his last stage, "Shiftry the wickid Pokemon. Shiftry's large fans generate awesome gusts of wind at a speed close to 100 feet per second. The whipped-up wing blowers anything away. This Pokemon chooses to live quietly deep in forests." As an added bonus Simon gave Shiftry a heart scale so that he could relearn Razor Leaf before returning his friend.

The next Pokemon they came upon after returning Shiftry was a Swirlix. Now it wasn't a Pokemon he had on his own however he also had no idea how to actually evolve the Pokemon either. Only a few more battles and Whirlipede would evolve, then he would have to decide which Pokemon to train next. Lairon would go when he evolved as well but only for a little bit. The plan was to keep training Pokemon and eventually the number would go down on free spots. Greninja, Dusknoir, Noivern and Aggron fit the four spots, maybe Yveltal for the fifth but then maybe a grass or electric Pokemon for the last spot. When he figured it out he'd know, until then the grass moved as a wild Roselia appeared, another grass for the poison type, this should be easy.

Once the battle was over there was a crack on Whirilpede's back. At first Simon was worried until he started to glow white, he was evolving. Once out of the shell Simon scanned him learning that Whirlipede had evolved into "Scolipede the Megapede Pokemon. It clasps its prey with the claws on its neck until it stops moving. Then it finishes it off with deadly poison." Returning his friend after healing him up he started towards the Pokecenter when a wild Smeargle appeared. Since the Pokemon he was going to switch out were all evolved he sent out Lairon instead to gain a little bit of experience as well.

After Vince bought the last of his prizes, he turned his attention on Olivia only to grew curious as he noticed the haxorus he had seen earlier get captured by the pinkette. As the two got on the train back to Lumiose, Vince took a seat next to Olivia and sat back, stretching his arms out behind the seats. "So what was that all about?" He asked curiously. "I never got the chance to ask about that haxorus before. Wasn't it with your pokemon earlier too?" He recalled thoughtfully. The train ride was a bit long, but that gave them enough time to talk for a while before finally pulling into North Lumiose. Vince stood once the train came to a stop, or rather, he tried to, wobbled, and caught himself by grabbing one of the hand rails to steady himself. "Heh.... Arceus..." He chuckled, rubbing his head. "Still can't quite get over that weird gravity shift I feel when standing...." He shook his head and instantly regretted it, grimacing as he felt like his head was swimming. "I can't believe I let you talk me into drinking so much." He half joked, knowing he was just as much at fault as Olivia was.
Once Vince recollected himself, he stepped off the train with Olivia and looked around trying to remember or locate where the pokecenter was. Seeing the bright red roof down the street gave the indication he was looking for, and he began making his way towards it with Olivia. "So.... Did you want to share a room?" Vince suggested with a laugh that said he was obviously kidding. Even when drunk, he still had some morals. "Ah, but seriously, I do wish it wasn't so late." Vince's joking expression sobered, suddenly looking very tired. "I'm.... Not looking forward to tomorrow." He simpered. Tonight he had been able to shrug off the concerns and burdens he felt on his shoulders and have fun talking to Olivia, but tomorrow it would all hit him again, along with the hangover that would inevitably come with the morning. "I think this was worth it though." He offered with a light smile. As painful as tomorrow would be, he wouldn't change anything. "I might not think so tomorrow amidst dealing with it, but...." Vince laughed. "Tonight was fun. Thank you, for everything." He nodded.
Heading into the Pokecenter Simon decided to train up two dark Pokemon for now, Poochyena and Carvanha. Poochyena was such a low level that Simon will be switch training until he was at least ten or eleven then he'd use the Mysterous Incense from the fair. It would bring some type of level ten Pokemon around and hopefully Poochyena could handle his own. There there was Carvanha, according to the Pokenav Carvanha was also only at level ten. Poochyena would evolve at eighteen and Carvanha at thirty. For now he'd stay here, the Pokemon in the area were at a good level for Lairon to train as well. Healing his team up he departed from the Pokecenter again.

Lairon himself only needed a few more levels himself so Simon sent out Poochyena to walk next to him as the pair went into the tall grass behind one of the buildings near a statue that was built in honor of something. Before he could read the plaque a wild Skiddo came from the tall grass and attacked. Poochyena barked at it as Simon knelt and held him back, "Not yet, you're not strong enough just yet." Standing up he sent out Lairon who landed with a thud before stomping at the grass Pokemon, ready to go.

Turn 1 Simon switches Poochyena out for Lairon (300 HP) Skiddo (270 HP) uses Take Down - 90 (-10) - 80 | -20 recoil
Turn 3 Lairon (70 HP) uses take down - 90 (x1.5) (+10) - 145 Skiddo fainted Poochyena and Lairon split 20 EXP
The second attack was a ground type and extremely effect. Simon was worried that it would be too much for Lairon but the steel Pokemon pressed on. Luckily with his ability not to take recoil damage Lairon defeated the grass Pokemon. As the pair gained some experience Simon quickly used potions to heal him up.
