Elizabeth was just sitting on the rock, looking out at the ocean and Primrose swimming around in it. Then she looked all around the bench, utterly empty besides them as she was thinking. Realizing it now, Primrose shouldn't be the only one that gets to have fun here. So she let out all of the rest of her pokemon from their pokeballs, each of them surprised. But then they all got to playing with each other very quickly, running around the beach and messing with the sand along with each other as well. Elizabeth smiled as she watched Primrose still swim in the ocean, getting an idea. So she took off her heels, pulling up her dress a bit as she ran over to the water, getting ankle deep. She shivered at first since the water is so cold, but got used to it after a while. This is the first time she's been to a beach before, wanting to experience it at least while she is here. Then she went back to land and started playing with all her other pokemon, laughing and smiling happily.

Lafayette chuckled himself at Mel’s response, cheeky grin still on his face. He noted the look of embarrassment she still wore over the prior confusion, but didn’t go and tease her about it; it was enough to watch her correct herself and all and he certainly wasn’t about to give her s**t for that; if anything, it was humorous.
He turned to face her once more as they reached the pokemon center, glancing up and eyeing it curiously a moment before looking back to her. He grinned again, extending a hand and giving her own a firm shake. "A’course sheila. It was a bonzah of a rage." Lafayette teased as he released her hand, stepping back and giving a brush through the air that looked like a mix of a salute and a wave.
"’Ooroo Mello! See ya in Shali." Lafayette replied before turning on his heels and starting off down the pathway back towards the areas where he’d last left his pokemon. Noah gave a chirp and a wave goodbye to Mel and Lucy, still clutching the makeshift bag with his shells and the absconded food stuff before quickly toddling after Lafayette. Cheri stood in place a moment, just staring the two down for a minute or so before turning and doing the same as her comrade. Beginning to toddle after the fleeting form of her trainer as well. Well… that’d certainly been an interesting time.

Elizabeth was just having a lot of fun, playing around with all her pokemon on the beach. It felt good to relax a little bit after all that had happened in the Glittering Cave. But then a Bagon came running up, angry and now wanting to battle as it tried to attack her. Sakura was the first one to quickly come forward, getting in between the Bagon and her trainer while ready to go. This had made Elizabeth very glad that the Sylveon was okay with battling right now. "Sakura, use Disarming Voice!" she called out as the Sylveon had nodded back. So she then opened her mouth, releasing a beam of purple hearts in a loud shrieking voice, hitting the Bagon. It had dealt a lot of damage as the Bagon cried out from the pain. But soon they used Rage, glowing red before tackling Sakura but luckily it hardly did a lot of damage at all. "Sakura, use Draining Kiss!" Elizabeth had called out before Sakura nodded back again. Then she ran over to the Bagon, giving them a kiss which made the opponent glow red, a light yellow orb of energy flying off of the opponent and into Sylveon. It basically drained the opponent's energy, having done enough damage as the Bagon was too weak to fight anymore and ran off.

Mel made her way up the stairs, but stopped outside her room, looking down the hall to where a few girls were grouped together, all looking either put out, upset, or angry. Nurse Joy and a police officer were talking with them, and glancing inside the room, from time to time. Hadn’t that been the room Brian was at, when she came to check in before leaving…? She looked off to the side, thinking, then shook her head. She wasn’t going to prod. She opened the door and stepped in, raising her eyebrows a bit when she noticed several of her pokemon still out of their pokeballs, with Brian snoring on the bed.
With a roll of her eyes, she closed the door behind her and set her purse on the table, but stopped when she noticed something… moving in his dufflebag. Lucy hopped off, distracted more by her teammate, and wandered over to Phia. But, what…. ”Ex-egg!””Oh!” Mel stepped back from approaching it as the pokemon popped up into view, the eggs peering over the edge of the dufflebag at her. What in the…. ”Um… hello there…” she greeted, tentatively approaching them. When it seemed they weren’t aggressive, she got closer, and knelt down, adjusting the skirt of her dress as she did. ”Now how in the world did you get in here…” she mused, offering her hand out to them. She never was sure how to really greet a pokemon…. One of the eggs (the largest) seemed to eye her hand, then promptly bounced out, and into her palm. She raised her eyebrows a bit. ”Aren’t you bold..” she mused, standing up. She lifted her other hand to gently stroke the top of it’s shell with a finger. ”Exeggcute, aren’t you? What odd coloring, though…” she mused. She looked over at Brian, and sighed.
Setting the exeggcute back down with its fellow eggs (who all seemed nervous, and awed, at it’s brash action), she turned to walk over to her traveling companion. ”Brian.” She stood over him, waited, then leaned down, giving him a shove and a shake. ”Brian,” she repeated more forcefully. She looked a bit annoyed when he still didn’t stor. ”Wake up, ya lout!” she insisted, giving his back a light smack. ”Oof! Ow!” Brian grunted, lurching with the hit and then pulling away, opening an eye to look up at her as he groggily owke. ”Wassat fer…” he muttered, reaching up to run a hand over his face. He yawned, then pushed himself up, still looking only half awake. ”For going into hibernation while I was gone. What’s with the exeggcute?” she asked, gesturing. Brian’s gaze slid over to the pokemon she had motioned to, and his expression underwent a transition to wary acknowledgement. ”Oh…. Right, well…” He sighed a bit, running a hand over the back of his neck. Mel tilted her head and folded her arms over her chest, waiting. It didn’t take too long for Brian to explain everything that had happened, but by the end of it, Mel was staring at him with wide eyes. She was in the same position, she hadn’t moved… but he got the distinct impression she wasn’t happy. ”Y… wh…. Why did you catch them all? Why didn’t you message me or something?” she eventually cried out, tossing her arms up in exasperation. She couldn’t believe she’d missed so much. She was actually disappointed. Well… sort of. She didn’t regret going to the party with Lafayette, but… she wished she’d been here to have some say in everything that had happened.
Brian shrugged, still looking up at her from the corner of her bed. ”Well, I mean, it’s better than letting them run around everywhere, right?” he pointed out. She shook her head. ”I s’pose… Oh well. Least they aren’t causing more damage. And I suppose it’s good for the others to get some training in. I take it the exeggcute is staying with us?” she asked, running her fingers back through her hair. Brian gave another helpless shrug, and she tried hard not to glare at him. Instead she rolled her eyes, and shook her head. ”Fine, whatever. I’m going to go take a shower and get dressed. You get ready to leave, we’ll be heading to shalour soon,” she instructed, moving to grab some clothes. ”Oh, yeah, what happened? Brian blinked and looked after her, his mouth dropping a bit. Did… that mean things didn’t go well? For some reason, he didn’t really get that impression… Maybe it was something else. He shook his head a bit, sighing, then stifled a yawn. Scratching his tummy, he moved over to start cleaning up and getting everything together. Did Mel say they were going to Shalour? That was a little traveling, but it probably wouldn’t take them too long. And it also meant that she was going to be challenging the next gym leader, he assumed. It was probably good that she did… he wasn’t sure if she really knew, or remembered, or fully grasped, the idea of disobedience, but, well… a few of her pokemon were ’getting there’, so to speak, from what he could tell. The sooner she got more badges, the better, at least for a bit.
By the time Mel returned, Brian had everything pretty much ready to go, and all her pokemon returned save Lucy and Phia, who seemed pretty determined not to get recalled. ”So, you gonna keep that exeggcute?” he asked, his hands in his pockets as she put her things away. ”Well sure, I don’t see why not,” she remarked with a shrug, pulling a bag over her shoulder and then pulling on her backpack. ”What about Shaie?” Mel paused, thinking, then looked at him. ”The riolu?” He nodded. She smiled. ”Of course. Why wouldn’t I? I don’t mind having some extra pokemon. They both seem well meaning enough, too,” she added, adjusting her bag and walking over. She paused, then smiled. ”Besides, can’t exeggcute learn psychic moves? That could come in handy,” she added, a light in her eyes as she walked by. Brian made a bit of a face. ”You know they don’t learn psychic moves naturally until they’re pretty strong, right?” he commented, following her out.
She looked up. ”Well.. how strong is ‘pretty strong’?” she asked, essentially answering without answering. Maybe they could do some training before the gym leader, though. ”Uh, well… a good bit stronger than yours is right now,” he replied, eying her. Mel was smart, strong, independent… and incredibly stubborn and thick headed. He was half expecting her to decide to do something stupid, and push ahead with it regardless of his advice. ”Hmm, well… can they learn any through other means? Y’know, TMs, heartscales…. Those little mushroom things?” she asked, glancing back at him and lifting her fingers to make a little ‘squishy’ gesture between her thumb and forefinger. Brian gave her a dubious, unimpressed look. ”They’re actually called… ‘Big’ Mushrooms… and I dunno. I think they can learn Psychic…” he admitted. Mel looked thoughtful. ”Then let’s see if we can get that,” she decided.

Brian conceded to not pointing out that there was a good chance the pokecenter didn’t carry that TM, and instead focused on something else. ”This is weird,” he observed. ”What is?” Mel asked nonchalantly, shuffling through her bag to try and find her wallet again. ”You not knowing things.” She pursed her lips together and gave him a look. ”you know I’m not an expert on these sorts of things. I studied laws, not pokemon. Besides, I know some of it… my mind’s just elsewhere right now,” she replied back distractedly, resuming her search. Brian shrugged. ”Yeah, but it’s still weird. It’s not really… normal for me to know more than you about anything,” he remarked absently, looking off to the side. ”Don’t get used to it,” she reassured him, giving him a smile and a pat on the shoulder as she pulled her wallet out.

The two made their way into the shop, but as it turned out, they didn’t have any TMs for Exeggcute that would teach it a psychic move. They did suggest, though, that Shalour might, since there were usually places that sold materials trainers might need for the gym leader of that city or town. Mel thanked them, putting her wallet away, and heading back out. She checked her map to see which way to go, and how far they had to travel. ”So how’d the party thing go?” Brian asked curiously, looking over her shoulder to gauge the distance as well. Mel raised an eyebrow, glancing at him with an amused smirk. ”Well if you had come,” she replied, snapping the map shut and putting it away, ”you would know.” He frowned, looking at her as she started off, staying still a moment before following. ”You know I can’t do that,” he muttered. She rolled her eyes, knowing he couldn’t see. ”Yeah yeah, I know,” she replied back, still not answering.
Brian shifted uncomfortably, catching up and looking away. He recovered, though, and looked back at her. ”So, that mean you’re not going to tell me how you got soaking wet? Lafayette made the trek back to where he’d left his team, an eyebrow quirking as he stumbled upon them in the final case of battle. They all looked well exercised and tough, which was good given that they’d had several hours to train. "Hey mates, how’s it goin’?" He called as he approached, stopping just short of the group to give them a once over. Micah opened his eyes, giving a little grunt in greeting as he stood and came mover to butt against Lafayette. The Aussie grinned, scratching under the Arcanine’s chin.
"Yeh took care of ever’thin’ Micah? Looks like yeh had a rippah of a time." He remarked, stepping away to check the others. Eve gave an excited ‘Saur!’ as she butted up against him as well, earning herself a rub on the head before Dova promptly tackled him and knocked him down. Ori remained at a distance, seated, and simply watching the exchange curiously, though giving a little bow of greeting once Lafayette was back on his feet and not being assaulted by the Noivern.
"A’igh’ mates we gots to get goin’. Got some gyms ta get to." He remarked, retrieving the bag he’d left as well as the pokeballs. He started returning everyone one by one until only Dova was left. He needed to get changed and get the suit back before he headed off, a task he was promptly preparing to do. He mounted Dova and got her flying much to her excitement, first stopping at the shop to return the tuxedo before hopping the dragon once more and heading off for Cyllage. He needed to grab the badge there before he could move on to Shalour, but with flying that wasn’t going to take him to long…

Elizabeth was so relieved as the fight was over now and that Sakura had done great. But then someone came around the corner, a Hiker as they spotted her and ran over. "Hey, I came from Cyllage City and I need to do some more training. So let's battle!" he had said to her, eager to battle. She was very surprised that someone else was actually here and that they wanted to battle. So she sighed, agreeing to the battle as the Hiker sent out a Geodude. Elizabeth realized that she has the perfect pokemon for this, looking out towards Primrose. "Primrose, come over here. I need you to battle!" she called out to the Ducklett who was still in the ocean. Primrose then heard her trainer, realizing that she needs to go back to land as she swam over and soon walked on the beach until she was in front of Elizabeth. Now they were both ready to go, but she knew that this would be a very short battle in her case. "Primrose, use Bubble Beam!" she called out as the Ducklett nodded back. The inside of Primrose's beak glows light blue, firing multiple light blue bubbles from her beak at the opponent. Apparently it had dealt so much damage that it had taken only one hit for it to completely knock out the Geodude. The Hiker was shocked, returning the fainted Geodude before sending out an Onix. "Primrose, use Bubble Beam again!" she called as the Ducklett nodded and used the Bubble Beam once again on the Onix. Just like with the Geodude, it knocked out the opponent in one hit again. Now the Hiker was getting annoyed and thinking that there is no way that they would win, sending out a Larvitar next. "Primrose, use Bubble Beam again!" Elizabeth had said, the Ducklett nodding back as once again she used Bubble Beam on the opponent. The same result happened where the Larvitar was knocked out in one hit just like all the others before. Elizabeth had won the battle as the Hiker was sad due to having been crushed so horribly and ran away.

Elizabeth had felt so glad to be done with that battle, even though it had been a quick one. She then noticed that Padma was glowing all of a sudden, surprised. Is she evolving?! So she waited and once Padma stopped glowing, she could see that her Ralts had evolved into a Kirlia. "Padma, you're so cute. You look like a ballerina!" Elizabeth had happily said to her new Kirlia, relieved. But now thinking about it, they should really get going again and continue their training again. So she called all of her pokemon over before returning them to their pokeballs, making her way back into the Aquarium. Then she maneuvered her way through the party again before leaving the Aquarium as she went towards the exit. Finally Elizabeth had headed out of Ambrette Town, now on her way back to Cyllage City.

Terrence didn’t know how he was doing it, but he made a lot of progress on the way over to this particular town. He was glad that his health was actually holding up, by now he was sure that there would have been some sort of issue. Not that he wanted one of course, he was just a bit relieved that it seemed to be going a lot smoother than he originally thought. He made sure not to overlook his health though, so he shuffled over to the first bench he saw that was free. After taking a seat, he noticed that his own pokemon seemed to be tired and hungry. Terrence decided that before they went to search for the egg, that they’d eat lunch. So that’s what they did. Terrence grabbed some food, and started to make some food for his pokemon. Once he was finished, he placed several different bowls down “alright guys make sure you eat your own food and not someone elses. I made them especially for each of you so keep in mind if you do steal you might not like the taste!” he said. In a way this was a way to prevent his pokemon from picking up a bad habit of snatching food from others. Terrence didn’t want his pokemon acting like that, so he made sure to use this method as soon as he met them.

Terrence watched as they ate their respective foods, before proceeding to eat his own meal. He sat down softly, before unwrapping the sandwich that he made before coming here. It was rather fresh so it would still taste good thankfully. So he it into his sandwich and savored the flavor. Luckily his pokemon didn’t steal each others food, usually Rava would get a bit too ambitious and try and eat someone elses entire bowl. Terrence made sure that never happened again, the fight was so bad he didn’t think he’d be able to contain it. Sadly the think that stopped it was his coughing and weakness of his body. If his health hadn’t deteriorated at the time he wasn’t sure how he was going to actually break them up. After finishing his food, he made sure to clean up and make sure that he threw away the trash.
