[Nights/North] Chapter I : Let The Rain Fall

Adriel attempted to sneak up on the closest enemy, and lunged for him as soon as he was within range.

Giving a bit of a grunt as she's struck by that one enemy, Miai notches another arrow, turns to face the one who just hit her and fires.

((Attack roll total - 17 / Damage (if successful) - 13))

Letting out a telepathic shriek as the lightning grazes her, she topples out of the tower. Tumbling in the air for a moment tries to fly to the safety of her creator.

Abandoning the ballistas, Drebins begins to prepare for the worst. Reaching into his side and removing a small sharpened rod, Drebins jams the point into the side of his thigh. Coating the point with blood, he begins chanting.

Glancing down at the on-coming enemies, Elena decides between the two nearest enemies. Her first instincts tell her to attack the one that hurt her earlier, she wants revenge. She takes a moment, thinking more strategically she decides to go for the same one as Adriel. Better to get rid of a few, than to lower all their health.

She casts her spell, aiming her index finger at the target she fires. Three bright pink orbs of light erupt from her fingers and dart off towards her target.

Adriel manages to slip his weapon in a small flap in the armour of the oponent. Blood gushed as the weapon was withdrawn. Seconds later the magic missile's pound into the oponents torso. With this the armour clad oponent turned around and dived for Adriel, sword drawn. With a flourish of his hand he sends a wave of energy towards Adriel, as that hits he dives in with his sword and vicourly gashes Adriels shoulder.

((Will save of 16 or take a -2 on attacks, saves and damage rolls and you take 9 damage from weapon damage))

The other man who had run around the tower vanished inside. Drebins Hears his running up the stairs. He pauses at the top of the stairs, weapon drawn.

The giant like humaniod moves around the tower, balista in hand. He sweeps and keeps an eye on both bridges in his sight.

The small wizard fires another shot off as Miai's arrow slashed his leg. The magic missiles darted in

Maddita hears another chant from the man in the grass.

Giving another grunt, the paladin stands her ground as she fires another arrow, this one definitely finding its mark. Suddenly, her eyes seem afire, her armor appears to shine, and her golden hair is gleaming as she glares at her opponent.

((12 total damage from the attack and activating Awesome Beauty as a free action. All opponents must make a DC 16 Will save or become Shaken.))

Darting through air, Lilith launches herself toward the toward Drebins is in.

Smiling politely, "Greetings and good bye." Leveling the rod at man Drebins fires two shots at him.

((double move for Lilith. 2 out of 5 used in attack, used move action to remove a vial of acid from holding.))

Adriel clutched his shoulder for a moment, then attempted to stab the enemy with his rapier...

...and managed to glance it off the side of his armor.

Deciding that Adriel can more than fend for himself, Elena shifts her attention to the guy that is approaching Drebins. Dropping down to the window in the tower, she prepares her spell & fires.

“Hey get the hell out of our tower” she yells, as the orbs of light collide with her target.

Maddita slowly closed her eyes and listened, as she stood still a faint noise could be heard.
Not one for waiting maddita races forward and summons her swords launching it in the direction of the sound.

( attack 5,18 ~ Damage 5)

The small magic missile thrower from the other side of the canyon recoils at the shining beauty eminating from Miai. The arrow had glanced the spell casters leg. Causing him to go down on one knee. With a flourish the small spell caster vanished from sight.

The armour clad fighter lunged for Adriel again. This time tilting the sword too far and missing by a wide margin.

A splutter of magic causes the rod to fall from Drebins hand. The rod clattered to his feet.

The armoured oponent in the tower turned to Elena as the magic missiles streaked in, vanishing as a broach on his belt began to glow he smiled before he began a chant himself. Elena was blown back several feet from the window as a setady rush of wind pushed her back. The man had moved from her line of sight by the time she reorientated her self.

Drebis sees the man walking towards him. Mace held aloft.

Maddita heard a grunt as her second swing hit home. A twisted and cocoughinous chant was heard as a slashing sound eminated from what seemed like everywhere. Seconds later the grass had been cut to pieces. Falling to the ground. A cloth dressed man turned and dived in. Trying to lay a hand on her. As he landed the hit, a racking pain coursed though her.

Seconds later, the man was gone in a rush of wind.

((9 Damage to Maddita))

As the small giant made his way across the bridge he turned the balista to one side. Shooting a line of fire towards the left bridge. Seconds later the entier thing was aflame.

Cursing a bit as her target disappears from view, Miai looks around quickly and spots the two figures behind her...in a nice straight line. Turning around to aim at the one standing due south of the tower, she fires a shot at him while hoping to hit his friend as well.  

[MT the Clown]

Wincing at the pain from the sputtered spell. Stumbling a bit towards the wall with all the ammo, looking up Drebins puts on a sheepish smile. "Well. Seems I'm at a disadvantage here. I don't suppose we can talk about this? I'm a simple merchant... so... perhaps a compromise? You two leave this tower and I-" Drawing a vial and a flask from his bag, "Won't blow you lot into the next world! It's a good trade, one for two. Na uh uh uh uh uh. Don't move towards me! These are ammunition boxes of fire and lightning. I break the container and the pink fairy will be the least of your worries. Either of you may be stronger than me. But are you faster? One slip of the hand because of injury or me passing out and none of you will survive."
