A trip on the rollercoaster back and Noel was out of the gym building and down at the pokemon center in a flash. He dropped off his team and waited for them to heal up before thanking the nurse and heading back outside. He was rather grateful to have gotten the gym battle done and was feeling rather accomplished. Still though, it would be a little bit before he could take on the next gym… maybe now was the time to travel a little?
They’d certainly been on the move a lot and he was still itching to keep going. Hopping to another region would let him explore some new places without too much trouble. Actually, thinking about it, he could stand to take a trip and find out some more about a few of his pokemon. He was a bit curious when some of them would evolve and such. Particularly Mattimeo. It’d be perfect!
With that decided he collected all his things and headed for the gate leading to the Desert Resort. If he wanted to region hop he’d need to get to the train station in Castelia. Not too long of a trek but he wanted to get moving before the sun set and all!

Scarlett chuckled, quietly conceding that Nimbassa seemed to have an air of magic around the name. That was probably why she loved studying language so much. There were certain words that held similar magic, and so many ways to use them. Bemused by the thought of magic words for a while, Scarlett eventually let them both out of the ruins and laughed at MD's request. "No promises!~" She teased returning her pokemon and hopping atop her ride charizard, but of course she would wait for him.... As long as he arrived in a decent amount of time.
Nimbassa quickly came into view, and it was fairly easy to spot the large ferris wheel in the eastern side of the city, but that didn't mean that she couldn't take her time flying over the city and admiring the sight from above. After all, flying over Nimbassa was kind of a trip. The lights of the fairgrounds blazed below her, whispering promises of entertainment for hours. She genuinely looked forward to seeing all that Nimbassa had to offer. Eventually, Scarlett touched down at the base of the ferris wheel and thought to text MD, only to realize they'd never actually exchanged contact information.
Welp.
Scarlett made a face. They had been understandably distracted, but she would have to bring that up again once MD found his way here. At least they had agreed to meet at this location so it wasn't as if he didn't know where to go to find her, but their plans could have gone terribly wrong if they hadn't. Plus Scarlett wanted to see if that mind reading trick he'd talked about pulling would actually work.
While she waited for MD though, she figured that it might be a good idea to send her pokemon out to do some training on their own, but.... That meant putting Vandal in charge again. Last time they interacted, she'd shoved him into his pokeball in a rage for his attitude during the egg hunt. Scarlett shifted uncomfortably. Perhaps time had passed enough to where they could interact humanely, but if not..... Well, Scarlett didn't want to risk being put in a foul mood just before MD arrived. "Aero." Scarlett tapped the dawn ball in her bag and sent the gallade out. "I'm going to send a few pokemon out for you to help train around the area. Just keep an eye on them for me, alright? And use my stuff to heal them if necessary." She explained, switching around her team and releasing Gamma, Pearl, Aegis, and Mako for training before handing the gallade her bag. With that, they went off.

MD didn’t hesitate to get travelling to Nimbasa; he might’ve been a falsely accused criminal to his former employer, but he was certainly not a jerk who kept people needlessly waiting. Chivalry didn’t have to die just because you were a wanted man; though in actuality it was simply because he had a few quick errands he wanted to run before meeting with Scarlett as well. He touched down outside the local Pokemon center, giving a friendly ‘thank you’ pat to the Pidgeot before the massive bird took to the sky as he turned to enter the building. A quick trip to the nurse and his team was at top notch health and within minutes he was back outside and releasing Uriah and Jubilee. It’d been a while for the two and it was about time they could return to their wandering ways. Immediately they took their illusionary human forms and stretched a bit, Jubilee immediately perking up as MD gave her a gentle smile.
"Hey Jubes, how you doing?" He inquired; he hadn’t forgotten what’d happened to her earlier and apparently, neither had she as a sheepish look crossed her features. "I’m… alright. Thank you, MD!" Uriah was watching silently for signs if she was lying (and MD was too) but both came to the conclusion that she was being honest. The older man gave a nod. "Good! I’m glad to hear it." Uriah’s attention had shifted to their surroundings at this point, frown on his face.
"What are we doing here…?" The Zorua inquired, look going suspicious as MD gave a grin. "We’ll I’ve got myself a little date," he remarked, giving a double snap and a double pistol point that earned him a deadpan stare. Jubilee looked briefly confused as well before a grin took her face and giddily she clapped and hopped up and down a bit. "You can’t be serious…," Uriah interrupted and MD’s expression diminished a bit like a child caught. The Zorua didn’t miss that, expression lightening in realization. "You’re suspicious about something." Where other’s might’ve taken this as MD being irresponsible, Uriah learned over time that really, he was anything but.
"Maybe…," was the comment he gave before digging in his bag and handing over a spare communicator. "She’s got a solid interest in artifacts though, so… thinking I can learn a thing or two either way," it was an unnecessarily cryptic way of getting a point across. "While I’m out, I want you guys training, okay? And keep an eye out for anything interesting as well," He also handed over a couple of pokeballs for training, though one immediately made Uriah bristle.
"Why are you giving us that?!" He squirmed, eye twitching as he stared down at the ball containing the Hoopa, MD already backing it up to start heading for the Ferris wheel. "Train it! Get to know it, I mean… we’ll have to eventually!" He chimed, double pointing again before turning heel and quickly making off. It wasn’t so much he was dumping the work on them; far from it. If anything, thy had far more power than he did to keep the darn thing in check and Nimbasa was just big enough to avoid trouble. Maybe.
It was a brisk seven-minute walk, but the Ferris wheel came in to (closer) view in no time and with a quick scan he spotted the red head amongst the crowd. Putting on his most winsome smile, he strolled over casually, looping around to come up to her side, reaching out and giving her arm a gentle tap and a wave once he had her attention. "Hello, hello! Good to see you again madam," MD smiled, straightening up and placing his hands on his hips.
"Good to see you didn’t get lost," he teased, glancing back at the Ferris wheel; because it was absolutely just the hardest thing to miss, wasn’t it? Shaking his head, he returned his attention to Scarlett with an inquiring expression. "So miss Regina, where would you like to start? The Ferris wheel or would you like a little tour? There’s plenty of attractions and I know a little food stall that makes great gyros if you happen to be hungry, " he inquired, observing for a reaction. There was plenty to do here after all and it’d been a bit of time since he himself had been home; it’d be rather tragic not to enjoy it while possible.

Even if he'd only been in the desert for less than an hour, Apollo was more than relieved to be returned to civilization. He dropped his shirt back down, and smoothed it out of wrinkles and sand he'd accumulated throughout his travels, as he stepped into the city. It'd been some time since he'd last been in Nimbasa, and, as always, the city was bustling with life. He didn't have much time for sightseeing, as unfortunate as it was, he was on a mission. It'd been too long since he'd last challenged a gym, and his pokemon were in desperate need of training, just like he was in desperate need of a bath. "Don't forget about me," Mila chimed in, her voice invading Apollo's mind, before she begun to brush at her fur, further reminding the trainer that he wasn't the only one in need of cleaning.
"Don't worry, I haven't," Apollo reassured, and reached a hand out to swipe at a gathering of dirt on Mila's shoulder. "Let's... head to the Center, I guess." Though he wasn't as eager to return to one, considering he'd just left another after days of sickness, it was the quickest way to get their needs out of the way, not to mention he needed to make use of the PC. Apollo led the way to the Pokemon Center, his sense of direction seeing them to the red-roofed building in only a matter of minutes, and he made it a point of collecting a room key before heading over to the personal computer's, to sate Mila.
He frowned slightly as he looked into his PC box, before sighing. Geez, how did he still have so many pokemon on him? He... really needed to find other trainers to trade them to, or at the very least release them. Determined to do that right then, rather than wait and risk forgetting, Apollo set up several of the pokemon he still kept for trade on the GTS, then went about retrieving Ceti and Eris. No need to keep them in the PC either. By the time he finished, the bright-haired male felt as if he'd done some sort of progressive work, even if it was small, and logged out before he headed up to his room.

Not much longer after Scarlett had sent her pokemon off for some training, MD soon came strolling over. She had noticed his approach, but pretended to keep scanning the crowd for signs of her new freckled friend until he tapped her arm to get her attention. "Hey! There ya are~" She greeted with a smile as she turned to face him fully. A laugh escaped her lips as MD suggested his relief that she hadn't gotten lost. As if one could miss the giant ferris wheel on the edge of town. "Yeah, it was tough though. I may be good at navigating ruins like Soleceon, but cities are another thing. Maybe I should have picked a more obvious and distinct meet up spot." She suggested with an wry grin, following his gaze up to the ferris wheel for a moment as he gave a few options for how they could start their night.
"How about both? Think ya could give me a birds eye view tour from inside the ferris wheel?" She suggested. It would certainly kill two pidgey with one stone, getting to ride the wheel and learn more about her options in the town. "I am hungry though, so maybe our first stop after we get off the wheel can be that gyro food stand ya mentioned." Gyros did sound pretty good right about now, but she could wait. The line for the ferris wheel wasn't very long at the moment and she didn't want to walk away thinking they could come back only to find it much longer than before.

MD gave a little chuckle at the remark, eyebrow quirking at the joking about city maneuvering. "Oh absolutely. A better choice is always that third bush on the second street over there. Everyone knows that place," he teased humorously, swiping a hand back through his hair.
Nodding thoughtfully at her comment, he gave another little winsome smile. "I like that way you think," he remarked with a wink, already stepping off to the side in the direction of the lines, though not too far as that would be rather rude. "Everything’s better with a bird’s eye," with the lines being fairly short at this point, they’d be on in no time too; Rondez-View Ferris Wheel was mostly for couples, so you could cut the time by two if you assumed everyone was paired off like they should be.

Scarlett was cracking up at the vague "better" choice they had for a meetup spot; the bush on that street over there that everyone knew. "Of course. Why didn't I think of that?" She shook her head with mock dismay, tsking at herself. It was hard to keep a straight face though. She rather enjoyed these little bouts of sarcasm. They were fun and not actually detrimental to anyone, like how most sarcasm was used. It was just fun.
Scarlett grinned widely as MD complimented her thought process. "Why thank you good sir~" She gave a little bow, soaking it in and pleased to have him agree with her ideas; both combining the ferris wheel and tour from above, and the thought of getting food after. It wasn't that she needed confirmation that she had good ideas and a unique thought process, but it was always nice to have it.
They shuffled along in the line, and Scarlett gave MD a curious look as he asked why she'd been scouring the ruins. Her face remained neutral and thoughtful as though mulling his question over, but internally she felt an ache. There were many truthful ways to answer that question, but the problem was how truthful she should be, and to what degree? "History was always my favorite subject. I feel like there are a lot of questions in this world, and the answers aren't ahead of us; they're in the past.... Forged in the ashes and mistakes of our ancestors, where entire prosperous civilizations vanished without a trace... When I hear about things like that, how could I not go looking?" She suggested with a chuckle. "I guess the simple answer is I'm just another ruin maniac." She shrugged. "What about you? Were you really only down there because you heard an explosion?" She asked somewhat teasingly.

MD grinned at the mocking dismay, simply chuckling along pleased that Scarlett seemed to enjoy the sarcasm. As they moved along into the line to wait their turn to board the Ferris Wheel, MD inquired of Scarlett and her spelunking ways. He listened thoughtfully as she answered, subtly watching her expressions and such as she found herself an answer.
His head tilted a bit as he took that answer in; history, hm? He could respect that though he wasn’t sure if he could agree to the idea of digging up the past for answers. There were probably many areas in fact that were better left in the dirt, far away from human discovery. But that was neither here nor there and really, nothing he could bring himself to comment on. "That’s poetic… and rather ambitious. I like it," he grinned, arms folding over his chest, "living up to that troublemaker business." He teased jokingly only to chuckle as she called herself a ‘ruin maniac’. Well, she certainly seemed less crazy then the few he’d ever met. And that was a few. As the question was turned on him, he made an innocent face, looking to be thinking a moment before he finally shrugged himself.
"Mm… yes. Mostly," he quirked an eyebrow, giving her a ambiguous smile. "I was just flying along to be honest, plotting my next legendary adventure before I felt that horrible explosive wave ya caused." He remarked as he moved forward with the line. "Though I thought maybe I could find some answers to a dilemma I had too… I didn’t though. Completely forgot about that in fact," it hadn’t occurred to him that he’d failed in that aspect. He shook it off, instead focusing on the conversation. "So what strange lost epics of history have you found yourself discovering? You mentioned looking for Palkia and Dialga… looking to add time travel to help in your discoveries?"

Scarlett chuckled softly as MD complimented her poetic and ambitious answer. "Well if I don't live up to troublemaking, then I can hardly call myself a troublemaker." She agreed with a grin, even further amused by MD's anecdote on how he'd made his way into the ruins. Plotting his next legendary adventure... Now that was amusing, if not true. She hadn't forgotten about the bottle he had, but if he hadn't wanted to mess with it in the ruins, she doubted he'd let her take a look in a highly populated city on top of a ferris wheel. "I neither confirmed nor denied any involvement with said explosion." She insisted with a coy smile, though it fell into a look of mild concern when he vaguely mentioned a dilemma of his own. "What dilemma's that? Maybe I can help." She offered honestly. If nothing else, couldn't hurt to give her two cents if he was willing to talk about it. If not, Scarlett would understand. There were certainly a few things that were too personal for her to tell him about too, and some of those things even didn't have anything to do with her criminal or familial background.
Scarlett grinned with amusement though as MD asked about the epics she was discovering, though her smile quickly faded into a wan one at the mention of using time travel. "Yeah... Something like that....." She admitted quietly. Going back in time to see the temples and ruins in their full glory, to see and communicate with ancient civilizations long thought dead.... It was something she certainly fantasized and dreamed of but.... There were more important things she wanted to see and save first. That was what really drove her, not just to research time travel, but legendaries in general.
They soon closed the distance between their place in line and the ferris wheel, boarding it and strapping in. "Alright mister tour guide, you're on~ Time to work your magic." She pointed out with a light nudge and smile before pausing. "Hey, you never guessed my phone number." She realized. They had been side tracked, admittedly, but now that she remembered, Scarlett felt the need to bring it up again.

"Aero... Your name is Aero, right?" Aegis asked offhandedly as Gamma continued to punch it's way through prehistoric pokemon. Aero was rather surprised at the comment, given that in the entirety that he'd known of the aegislash, the sword and shield had remained silent. Frankly, Aero had assumed he couldn't talk. Nevertheless, the gallade eventually overcame his initial shock and nodded in confirmation. "How long have you known the Captain?" Aero looked thoughtful. "Er... Well.... Not long. Maybe a year?" He suggested. "Why is it that you stay with her?" Aero's eyebrows raised in surprise again, then furrowed, but before he could accuse the aegislash, he interrupted. "I'm not questioning your loyalty, gallade; I would like to know the source of it." Aero blinked, backpedaling a bit in thought. "Oh.... Well.... I suppose I owe her. I met her when I was just a ralts, and I needed to become stronger. She's given me that by training me, and now... I...." He hesitated. "I'm..... Concerned." He admitted. Growing so quickly under Scarlett's training was great, he felt powerful, but with his newfound power, he was also no longer naive to Scarlett's way of life. Many of the things she did were wrong, but he still felt obliged to follow her command. "My personal feelings towards her life choices aside... Sometimes it feels like there are different sides to her, like she can be two different people. Sometimes more. Stranger still, I sense that there is no deceit in it. I have seen her pretend to be something she is not in order to gain favor from other humans, but with us, she doesn't do that, and yet... She still has many facets." The aegislash hummed in agreement. "I believe I am beginning to see these facets as well.... The way she looked when she obtained that blue orb was unlike anything Ive seen in her before." His tone was neutral about this though, as if interested rather than disturbed as he probably should have been.
Growing curious, Aero sifted through Scarlett's bag, eventually finding the orb Aegis mentioned. "This one?" Aegis inclined his hilt in a nod. "Yes.... Though.... How strange. That scarab.... The captain had placed it on her wrist, and I don't recall her putting it back on the orb." Aero's brow furrowed as he concentrated on the scarab. He thought he sensed something within it. Life, of some kind, though it wasn't organic. A lingering spirit, perhaps? Suddenly, the scarab trembled, then began to shake so violently that Aero had to stop walking and hold the orb away from him just as it jumped off of the orb and burst into brilliant light, transforming into a feline appearance as it stared at Aegis and Aero. "Nu! Tra zul nu!" It growled, it's sights moving the orb in Aero's hands. Aero looked between the feline and the orb, slowly setting it down in front of her. She appeared to calm down and pull the orb back towards her with satisfaction.

MD grinned; Scarlett was very dedicated to living up to her troublemaker name and he could respect that. Go big or go home, right? Even if it was probably in a way that had some criminal undertones to it; not that he was going to comment. An eyebrow did quirk as she plead the fifth practically to the explosion situation, muffling a little sarcastic laugh in response. "Oh really?" He teased, smirking as he eyed that coy smile she gave, "well how could I not believe a sweet face like that?"
At the inquiry of his dilemma, the playfulness of his attitude subsided some into a more somber expression. He was silent in the moment, directing his attention forward as the line shifter further closer to the Ferris wheel. There were only a few couples between them and the ride at this point; a fact that the man seemed to spend a long time analyzing before finally redirecting his attention to Scarlett. His intention to completely avoid even talking further about the issues he faced was incredibly evident and even more so as he took advantage of the change in atmosphere to his own question. Once again, he didn’t miss it as odd as a thing as it seemed to be, but instead gave a little nod of acknowledgement. Sometimes, there were things you couldn’t speak about. And if it was enough to inspire time travelling … well.
Finally, they were up next to board the wheel and MD grinned at the comment, climbing in right after Scarlett and strapping himself in as well. "Absolutely, though don’t blink or you might miss the good stuff," he winked, settling in as the cabin started its slow rotation. He arched an eyebrow though at her remark concerning the phone number fiasco.
"Oh?" MD remarked, ‘hm’ing in thought before flicking a wrist and producing a card with a 10-digit number that looked eerily like a phone number. "You mean this? I almost forgot, I didn’t think I’d need to use it," he offered the card over to her with a sly smile. "But why don’t you confirm it for me for the future?" He remarked before settling back in his chair, glancing over the edge of the cabin door as they approached the top.
"So, where would you like this tour to start? Nimbasa’s the heart of entertainment; there’s the musical theater at the walk for quality shows. Or if sports are more your thing there’s the Big Stadium and Small courts over there… ooorr if your heart is just set on battling there’s the Gear Station to get on the Battle Subway or the Battle Institute you can visit," he pointed out as they came into view, giving Scarlett a curious look once he’d pointed out the major attractions. "Any questions?" he certainly wanted to give her a chance

It was always amusing to have someone who willingly played along with Scarlett's little game, but there was something more enjoyable about the way MD did it with such ease. He certainly seemed the type to do this sort of thing himself, and for that, Scarlett supposed she felt a sort of kinship with the magician of mystery. It was just.... Fun. Plain and simple. "I daenno, but if ya didn't, I'd say ya weren't human." She teased.
Scarlett didn't miss the fact that MD somewhat ignored her question and offer of help to his dilemma, but she wasn't angry. She knew the cue to stop asking when she saw it, and appreciated the fact that he returned the favor. At least MD was polite enough to keep quiet instead of lashing out in response. The only problem was that the silence somewhat invaded their conversation for a time, but thankfully they soon boarded the ferris wheel and they picked back up on a more cheerful note.
Scarlett stared at MD for a moment as he handed her a card with a number on it before she quickly took it in hand. "When did you--?!" She stammered in awe as she fervently looked over the number. Not only had he somehow managed to put her number on the card without her noticing, but the number was almost spot on. It was actually a bit unnerving, but Scarlett played off her suspicions with a chuckle. "Oh, ya're good." Scarlett laughed. "Very good. I suppose askin' how ya managed to pull this off will be moot, cause magicians never reveal their secrets, right?" She teased to continue keeping the mood light. She'd seen magicians pull this sort of stuff off. She wasn't sure how it was done, but she knew that it wasn't magic, just being able to read people well. Maybe he even dabbled in psychics, and was able to see her number in her mind when she brought it up, but that didn't mean he could see right through her. He didn't know everything. He'd even been off by a few numbers, so it wasn't suspiciously perfect. The question was, did he do that on purpose? Did he know the number and change a few to intentionally throw her off, knowing that she'd probably suspect him if he'd gotten it right?
The suspicion of MD being a psychic put her on edge, but unless she had proof or a reason to see him as a real threat, she wasn't going to do anything rash. She also may have been desperately rationalizing things to ignore her survival instincts that were currently urging her to kill the man on the spot, which would have been a real shame. "Y'are off though." She said, taking a pen out of her bag and correcting two of the numbers on the card before handing it back. "Neu as per common exchange, ya owe me yer number too. Unless ya wanna make me fail spectacularly at guessin' yers?" She commented with a grin.
She took a look over the edge of their carriage as MD gestured to their view and began pointing out some places to start their tour. Scarlett wasn't sure where she could start. She certainly needed to train her pokemon so the battle subway was probably a smart choice, but she'd already sent her pokemon off to do some training of their own. She could improve her basketball skills perhaps if she went to the courts, but she wasn't sure if any would really be open and she kind of wanted to do something different, but as much as she liked contests she also didn't want to sit and watch something either, she wanted to do something. "What's that over there?" She pointed to an open but roofed patio like area with lots of flashing lights and machines. "That looks like a hot spot... Is it some kinda arcade?" She asked curiously. Now that piqued her interest.

MD chuckled at the remark, shooting her a grin at the remark. Oh, he might not be human otherwise? Well that certainly deserved an argument, if only a playful and silly one, but he let it slide. After all, there was a Ferris wheel to ride and the amazing spectacles of Nimbasa to point out.
Of course, there was also his magic trick to finish and with a confident smirk, he lazed back against his seat while Scarlett marveled over the phone number he’d produced. Honestly, it was hard to hide the prideful grin that was threatening to cross his face. The shock and awe on people’s faces as he pulled his tricks never grew old and in such an informal setting as this, it was even more delightful.
"Well thank you!" He brandished a hand out and then to his chest in a dramatic fashion. "I certainly try. And I’m afraid I can’t, that would just ruin the fun," he winked, wagging a finger in the air in a ‘nope’ manner. Of course, Scarlett mentioned that he’d been off a few numbers and a faux frown crossed his face as though he were shocked by this fact. He figured he would be; they certainly hadn’t been together long enough for him to weasel just enough clues to feel certain he had the number correct. He preferred the illusionery side of magic as opposed to the people reading mind manipulation, which meant he needed just a bit of extra time to get the task done solidly. Still though, only a few off? That was something to be proud of.
"Really? Damn, can’t trust your magic connections to get anything right," he jokingly huffed, though perked up a bit as she corrected the number and handed it to him. "You’ve got me there; it certainly would be the polite thing to do, as my mother would say."He grinned and looked it over before flicking his wrist to make the card disappear to safety, a different one with a 2 of hearts appearing with his own number scrawled on it. "Here you go, feel free to keep the card," he winked and returned to his eased back fashion. Well this was certainly going swimmingly; what a nice change from all the drama he’d experienced lately.
After pointing out all the potential interesting attractions, MD cocked an eye at Scarlett’s inquiry concerning one particular building, a sly grin spreading across his face. "That is the Nimbasa arcade center, a number one hot spot for your pro gamers," once more he pressed a hand to his chest, other holding to the side as the car continued in its rotation, "I’ve got my name as top score on at least half of those machines. Would own all of them but you know, those damn kids without jobs," because that spoke so highly of him. He smiled though, giving Scarlett a curious look.
"You got an interest in games? We can certainly hit it up; the crowds usually pretty manageable about this time," the more he considered it, the more it seemed like a fun idea.

It wasn't hard to notice MD as he tried not to grin too much with satisfaction at the success of his trick. However, there was something giddy about it; the same way a performer was genuinely pleased by pulling off a difficult trick. Probably because that was the truth. It certainly helped convince Scarlett not to suspect malintent, even if he did refuse to tell her how he pulled off the trick. "Well, ya can't blame a lass far tryin'." She suggested, holding her hands up in mock defense as she got a finger waggled oh-so-threateningly her way.
An amused chuckle escaped Scarlett as MD bemoaned his unreliable magic connections. "Hey neu, it wasn't all wrong, but it might stop bein' even somewhat reliable because ya've gone an insulted it. Ya'd better apologize." She insisted with an encouraging nod. It was really hard to keep a straight face for the suggestion though. Thankfully MD distracted her by producing his number on a card with a flourish, causing the redhead to lightly clap as per the custom of a good audience member before taking the card with a grin so she could plug it into her xtransceiver. "Why, a souvenir? How loverly~ Much appreciated." Scarlett chuckled, storing the card carefully away along with Ashe's beautifully written number. Her horde of treasures just seemed to ever continue increasing. Not that Scarlett was complaining.
Scarlett finally turned her attention to the rest of Nimbassa now that they were high enough to get a nice view overlooking all that the city had to offer. MD pointed out a few places that they could explore, but Scarlett's eye quickly caught by what MD explained to be an arcade area. To that effect, he even subtly bragged about having his name atop the high scores on most of them. "Well, clearly we should go show those hooligans what for." She suggested with a scowl and stiff upper lip, doing her level best impression of Professor Rowan. Really though, it could have any generic geyser like him but Scarlett drew great enjoyment from specifically making fun on that stuffy old fart of a man.
She did hesitate as MD asked her interest in games. She liked the idea of games, especially as a child, but she'd never much had time among work, studies, revenge..... surviving in general. "Yeah, sounds fun~ How'd ya like to put yer name on the multiplayer scoreboards eh? I'm probably not a master like yareself, but put me on any machine that requires precision and speed, and I'm yer gal~" She pointed some finger guns his way and winked. Okay she was lying about her experience with video games but she did have great aim and a quick trigger finger from real life experience. Hitting targets at a shooting range couldn't be that different from killing zombies with a plastic gun. "Sounds good, but ya promised me gyros first though. Can't play games on an empty stomach." She reminded MD lightly with a grin.

"Heh, I suppose you can’t," MD conceded, still grinning a bit. He gave a hearty laugh at the response that he shouldn’t kick his magical sources to the curb just yet, hand swiping back through his hair as he shook his head. "I guuuueeess… though I can’t have them continuously messing up the numbers for pretty ladies. It’s just uncouth, " he teased amusingly, giving an affirmative nod. "Of course~. Enjoy!" There was always something enjoyable about someone excited over a small keepsake he could produce.
MD tilted his head at Scarlett’s enthusiasm for the arcade, expression of surprise obvious on his face. A smooth smile appeared at her scowl, chuckling a bit. "Careful with that scowl, or people will start mistaking you for a relative of Rowan," he remarked, catching on to who she was impersonating. She did a pretty good job of it, if he had to judge himself; there was just a certain air to Rowan’s stuffiness that was well known about Unova and all. At least, that was the oldest geezer he was familiar with.
"Oh?" He rubbed thoughtfully at his chin, honestly considering that option. In actuality, his name was on the leaderboards for a few of the multiplayer games; but only the ones he could play himself. It wasn’t something that’d crossed his mind too often if he could manage, but considering it now, it’d be great to hit those games he’d missed. Hand dropping back to his lap he gave a nod, grin apparent. "I think that’d be a great way to go~ Gotta own all those machines, you know? It’s only proper. And it sounds like you’ve got the skills I’ll need to get the job done," he winked. "Of course! No use gaming on an empty stomach," he rose as their cart came to a halt finally finishing its rotation, brandishing a hand to let her step off first before following after, brushing the wrinkles out of his clothes before giving a little bow and gesture forward.

He inquired with a joking over the top fancy tone, still smiling as he straightened up and started leading the way down the boardwalk towards the food stands that lined the area. The idea of MD getting fussy at non-existant magical sources over messing up other women's numbers was highly amusing. "Fair enough, but give them at least one mare chance. Unless of course, I was their second chance; in which case ya should definitely dump them and find another source." She suggested with a grin. One could never be too careful about uncouth imaginary magical sources.
Scarlett was equally pleased that MD was able to correctly identify her impression of Rowan. Impressions to her were like accents; she enjoyed practicing them and was even more happy when others could appreciate them like she did. "Arceus, I'd feel sorry for any relative of that man." She sneered. "Can ya imagine havin' to live with professor stuffy for any length of time? I can hear the naggin' already about how their room in't tidy enough." Scarlett rolled her eyes with a smirk and shook her head. "Ya wouldn't've happened to have the misfortune of meetin' him personally, have ya?" She asked curiously, and though the question came up casually in their conversation, it was really just a method of keeping her own safety in check. After all, there was likely a warrant out for the arrest of a "mysterious redhead dressed as a pirate" due to her robbery of Rowan's lab. That piplup had been worth it though..... Even though she still had yet to really train him...... s**t.
Well it wasn't like she was going to let Poisidon out now and practically give herself away when she was trying to make sure MD didn't associate her with the crime.
She also made sure to latch onto the next topic at hand as a convincing distraction, suggesting they team up to not only take on the single player leaderboards, but also the team high scores; something that solitary children with no lives wouldn't be able to easily touch on. Scarlett was happy that MD seemed enthused by the prospect and easily agreed to try their hand at it, but he also conceded to stopping by a gyro stand first. By the time they finished planning out their next moves, the ferris wheel soon dropped them off on the ground again, and Scarlett happily followed MD to their foodie destination, laughing at his fancy tone. "Most indubitably!" She agreed in a similarly prim and proper tone, hooking her arm around his in a very Wizard of Oz fashion before they went gallivanting off.
"I have not, unfortunately. I think the only food I've actually eaten here is the beer nuts at the bar I went to, and the breakfast service at the pokemon center..... I know, don't crucify me. At least we're fixin' that now." She chuckled, prepared to be read a mock riot act from the magician for this heinous crime. "I have had gyros from Kalos though, so I'll have to make a comparison." And she was eager to do so, strolling right up to the counter of the stand once they made their way through the line. "I'll take a lamb gyro please." Scarlett announced before glancing to MD and letting him get whatever form of gyro he wanted off the menu before she made to try and pay for the meal.
