RESERVED For use on baby's page: The night was clear; not a cloud in the sky. The breeze was soft and subtle as it gently made it's way across the lands, causing the grass to wave, trees to sway, and ripples to travel across the glassy surfaces of ponds. Other than the night being particularly pleasant no one would suspect that there was anything odd about it - it was just another peaceful night.
Or so it seemed. A flash of light appeared in the sky; subtle and faint. The star's presence was so brief that unless you knew exactly the point in which it rested and had been watching the exact moment that it made that presence known it would be missed.
Many had left offerings atop the hill the night that the Wishing Star had appeared, and many offerings still littered the alter and hillside despite the time that had passed. There, a single bowl of water rested, untouched by any of the visitors that night. As the breeze swept by though it swept across the waters surface, causing it to ripple. The breeze did not stop though and continued its journey across the soquili lands - almost as if it was seeking out the one that left the offering behind. And find her it did. Not far from where Chanterelle was the wind suddenly stopped after disturbing a rather tall clump of grass.
Very shortly afterwards the patch began to rustle and shake. Nestled deep in the lengthy blades of green rested a single basket. How odd; it seems to have appeared out of nowhere!
