"Okay, we're gonna dive in Rowen-AAAAH!" Tsuki yelled as the Bombirdier he was currently atop took a nose dive to the battle on the lake below. It had been so long since he had caught a Pokemon that had an attitude! Snapdragon's insubordination was adorable, mostly because he couldn't do much in retaliation. This thing? The eight foot tall bird of prey that had tried to kill him multiple times less than 24 hours ago? That was unsurprisingly less than adorable in comparison. The trainer held on for dear life with his arms around Rowena's neck while the creature shot out her wings and rocketed towards the Dondozo not three feet from the water's surface.
If Tsuki was going to take command of this creature, he needed to word his commands carefully. Now, what could it do exactly? He had skimmed down it's movelist after catching it like he did with his Applin (poor, only two move bearing Applin). "There's... no. We could always.... uhm... What did Memento do again?" he asked, the reddish black aura igniting on the Bombirdier's wingspan indicating that he was just about to learn what that move did. "Wait! I was being rhetorical!"
The call from Rowena probably meant that she was already locked in or that she didn't care. Tsuki figured there wasn't much of a difference here. The aura attached to her shot forward with one final cry, if it landed it'd sink in and seep to lower the Dondozo's offences. It's potentially even affect the Tatsugiri within, since it was an ally so close to the attack. Regardless of the outcome of the attack however, the Titan Pokemon stopped flying altogether and recalled itself to the Pokeball that it had been caught in. The boy was flung forward loony toons style and hit the water, bounced off because of how fast they had been going post-nose dive, then hit the water again before finally sinking into the lake's depths.
'Why...' Tsuki thought, head spinning and body aching '... why is it always water that's trying to kill me?'
Well, at the very least, the others wouldn't have to worry about their opponent's attacks being as devastating as they were?

“Alright, progress.” Freth said. Freth looked back to see her Walrien managing to bring the Zoroark off to the speck of land, saving it at least for the time being. But as soon as Freth looked back, she then took notice to Beau making a dive into the belly of the beast. “Beau! What the hell are you doing!?” Freth shouted trying to rush for the fish, but before she got any headway, the Dondonzo was back up and ready to have another go. “…oh son of a…” She had a bad feeling at this point, she quickly ran back and recalled Alakazam back to his ball then started to try to focus as hard as she could, getting her feet off the ground and slowly started to ascend. But as the Dondonzo flopped back on the waters, the resulting wave still ended up catching her and dragging her under. The wave also managed to throw Walrien for a bit of a loop and taking the Zoroark passenger with it. This was a catastrophe dealing with this Dondonzo…they were all manner of ill equipped to deal with this.
As the wave finally cleared the island, Freth was laid out on the ground. Freth gasped out and gave a few coughs. She was tired more than anything, having to fight one water attack after the next, and completely cold and drenched. She was lacking any manner of energy to do much of anything. She looked around quickly, trying to assess the situation. “Walrien!?” Freth shouted. “Walrien!” She once again called out. Walrien roared out in response after a moment. She looked back seeing that Walrien had been washed well far out by the ginormous wave by the Dondonzo, but fortunately, he managed to save the Zoroark still, though not sure how much more that dark fox was going to last. She wasn’t sure what else to do right at this second, and with Beau making himself into a snack to the massive fish, this was perhaps a sign they needed to regroup. At the very least get this fish into a position where his home field advantage isn’t as much of one. Unfortunately, this is a fish that wasn’t going to go anywhere easily. The damage the squad here apparently had for this fish isn’t doing enough damage fast enough. Humiliation and frustration was abound. “I’m open to ideas, anyone.” Freth said, trying to pull herself to her feet.
Seeing the momento attack attempt was something…but they needed something a bit more potent than that. Freth did have one idea…and maybe it could save the others in the process. They’d have to stall though…
“Absol!” Freth then shouted, tossing out the Pokeball. Once the ball came out, out came the white and black dark type out with a howl. “Absol! Perish Song!” She then shouted.
The Absol looked at the Dondonzo and it gave a long howl, a dark requiem for the fish provided it was listening…

The plan had worked perfectly. Or at least, as perfect as intentional vore could work for an assault strategy. Beau found himself in his new living room with Pistachio and Red Baron to occupy their new accommodations, already plotting out the new layout. He was imagining DIY rage room. with a bevy of explosion scorches and wild plant growth for the space. After all, only an absolute insane being would decided that hanging out inside of a giant fish was in fact a great idea.
So naturally, Beuaregard found himself regarding a loveseat-sized fish that had called dibs before he got there.
Staring at the startled fish, Beau would open his SNAG as he casually dropped his Seedot to the ground of the space they were invading. "Guys. There's another Pokemon in here. And its Herba-sized as well. What the heck is going on here?" Beau spoke into the device, hoping that the signal for the call would be able to get out of this space and reach the others outside. Well, hopefully the giant fish was just posturing and wasn't that strong, especially since it was doing its best to play at being bigger and more threatening. Then a Water Pulse the size of a cottage erupted from the thing.
So much for that idea. And without another thought and without space for any real evasion, Red Baron and Beau would once again be slammed into with a massive water blast at the hands of the Tatsugiri.
However, this left one thing inside that Dondozo distinctly un-Water Pulsed. Watching his trainer get freight trained by a mass of water inspired a certain amount of fury within Pistachio. And so it became time to once again express his displeasure as he was want to do. Explosively and immediately. So Pistachio charged towards the Tatsugiri, body glowing brighter with the quickly growing mass of energy within him. And as he reached the Tatsugiri, the Explosion attack would go off inside this very contained space. And there was Beau, soaked to the bone and about to be in a very electrocuted Dondozo.
So who in the crowd would like to place on odds on how bad this disaster was going to be for Beau?

Sol and Rio went low and braced themselves as the rain of beams crashed upon the area and everyone within it, the hybrid quick to recall his Swampert lest the attack destroy him at the rate they were landing. A natural resistance would only go so far, and surely something would break before long. The better question is if it'd be them or the ground itself that'd falter first, and getting close seemed like a better way to be blasted to bits than stop the titan. "Aile!" He shouted amidst the chaos. "Dega should be able to lift a Torkoal's weight and throw them, right!?" At the moment, the Torkoal in question was still withdrawn into their shell as a last-ditch means of defending against the powerful blasts.

The Titan would roar at the newly Mega Evolved Gyarados, angered further that another giant fish might dare challenge its supremacy over the lake, even if it was still the biggest fish around. While the fish was attempting to intimidate the Mega Gyarados, its 'coach' too busy to guide it, the sea serpent lashed out with a Zap Cannon, the powerful orb of electricity striking the fish and causing it immense pain as it reeled back in agony. The False Dragon Titan was paralyzed.
-
In that same moment inside the fish clinging to the bigger fish's tongue, the True Dragon Titan, was preparing to finish Beau and his fire bird off only for the electricity from the Zap Cannon to reach everyone inside the fish's mouth, zapping them all. That is, all of them except for the Seedot that made itself conveniently airborne in that exact moment. The Tatsugiri would regain its wits just in time to watch the Seedot begin to glow and fall towards it, its eyes going wide.
-
Those on the outside would watch as the Titan Dondozo splashed down onto the water, only for a muffled explosion to go off causing the fish's mouth to expand and then deflate as it opened its mouth and unleashed a thick cloud of smoke. Something really big just went off inside its mouth, some sort of bomb. Seeing their opportunity, intentional or not, Bombirdier would unleash a Memento on the Titan, draining it of a considerable amount of its power.
-
On the inside Beau and his Pokemon, who may or may not be conscious at this moment, would be greeted by water rushing into the mouth of the beast, threatening to sweep them down its throat. The Tatsugiri had taken a fair bit of damage from the residual electricity of the Zap Cannon and the point blank Explosion but alas thanks to its typing and Titanic power it was still in fighting shape, and unlike its host it was not paralyzed. The Titan Tatsugiri would look to finish Beau off as the water surged in and brought him close, however in that moment the True Dragon Titan would feel its strength being sapped away as the Memento kicked in which unfortunately included Beau in its area of effect.
-
Back outside the other Snagems could see the Titan Dondozo begin to sink straight down into the lake, tail first with its mouth open, water quickly rushing in. As it began to be consumed by the lake Absol's Perish Song rang out and a sinister glow of energy briefly appeared around the fish, signifying it had worked.
Seconds later the Titan would disappear under the lake's waters and for a few seconds more the lake fell quiet, as if the Titan was defeated. Hopefully someone got Beau and his Pokemon out of the fish.
It wouldn't be that easy though.
"Dooon!" Roared beast as it breached the lake's surface again. Now standing tall above the water with its mouth open the Snagems would see there was another fish inside its mouth, another Titan, an orange one that kind of resembled sushi. This second fish let out an angry cry as well. The Dondozo would then lash its tongue out at the Snagems with the Tatsugiri on it. Now outside the Tatsugiri would unleash a burst of Dragon energy in the form of flying sushi energy constructs. Wait, what? Sushi?
The 'sushi' Dragon energy constructs might look silly but they were very much a threat as 'sushi' flew at the Snagems from numerous directions, threatening to slam into them and explode. After unleashing its attack a surge of energy would emit from the Tatsugiri which would then flow into the Dondozo as its offensive prowess were increased. While it didn't make up for the power loss to Memento if they let the fish do this again it would quickly become a problem.
Withdrawing its tongue and commander back into its mouth the Titan Dondozo shivered a bit as its paralysis gripped it. Now was their chance. Do more damage or delay it long enough for the Perish Song to finish it off.

Aile glanced over at Sol when he made his suggestion, bracing herself and keeping low to the ground to help avoid the beams as well. “In theory, she could? However- Dammit!” She took a look over to where Dega last was, and the bear wasn’t too far out from there. She was splayed out though, presumably because she couldn’t get out of the way in time when the Steel Beams started coming out. “Well, scratch that… Wait.” The woman looked at the turtled up Torkoal, getting an idea suddenly. What if…?
“Kuat, you’re up!” Aile would press the button on the new Pokeball she brought out, bringing forth her steel snake, shrugging off any remaining floating rocks before looking down at his trainer. “So, this might be an odd ask, but I need you to fling that Torkoal at the giant red worm. Its tail, to be specific.”
The Steelix indeed gave Aile an odd look before coming on to body block a stray Steel Beam, leering at the Orthworm before slithering over to the fire turtle , his tail now glowing silver, before slamming it with an Iron Tail attack towards the giant Orthworm. Maybe Aile should have been more specific about how the Torkoal needed to be yeeted at the giant….

Brian watched as Lu was able to keep the opening she'd made in the Stealth Rock wall, though he noticed she was starting to lag, exhaustion beginning to set in. He knew he would have to call her back in a few minutes, but as the giant Orthworm released its charged attack, he noticed something. The beast's tail had a giant crack in it, courtesy of the Fire and Ice-type moves used on it. He had to dodge out of the way as one of the Herba Mystica-empowered Steel Beams came directly at him, Firebrand dodging some of them, as well. Randy had gone underground to avoid the attack, so he was safe enough for now.
He could hear Sol asking about throwing his Torkoal at the Orthworm's tail, and he had an idea. Lu was still hammering away at the Stealth Rock wall, intending to keep the opening she'd created so the others could have a chance to end this, so she was out of the equation. Firebrand was having issues dodging, his greater bulk and lesser speed working against him. That would have to be rectified soon, Brian thought. The only option he had was Randy, who was currently still underground. As Aile's Steelix smacked Sol's Torkoal with an Iron Tail, he shook his head with a small smile. "Randy, if ye can hear me, I need ye to help out Sol's Torkoal," he yelled over the sound of the metal hitting the ground. "Use Helping Hand on it, make sure it can deal enough damage to put an end to this!"
Randy heard his trainer's command, and he came up out of the ground just long enough to find Torkoal soaring by a few feet away. He used Helping Hand, intending on helping the Fire-type hit where it would do the most damage, then vanished underground again, not wanting to stay in the path of destruction any longer than necessary. It was all up to Torkoal now; hopefully he could finish this quickly.

Lykas watched as the series of events that followed his attempt at dealing with the big fish went off and let out a semi-triumphant sigh as Dondozo splashed back down in the water, perking up a moment later upon hearing the muffled "boom" of Beau's Seedot going off. "Oi vey..." He muttered to himself. "That makes three that need rescuing..." He noted. "Furor, keep an eye on the water and if that ugly catfish comes back, hit it with a Brutal Swing. I'm gonna try and get those two out of the water." He told his Mega-evolved Gyarados, jumping off her back once again and returning to the lake's waters.
Breaking the surface, he immediately looked around for signs of Beau, since he was the one more likely to have ended up underwater. It took a few moments, far longer than he would have liked under the circumstances, but between his eyes and his senses, he picked up on the butterfly man's presence and tracked him down, surprised to find that Pistachio wasn't far away. Grabbing the both of them, he was swimming toward the surface when he spotted Dondozo coming to and returning ahead of him. "~/~!" He Exclaimed, his words coming out as little more than bubbles at the moment. Kicking harder to get Beau and Pistachio to the surface, he released Nuregami from her Ball. "Get these two to shore. The farther from the big fish, the better." He told the Milotic, who nodded in understanding as Lykas placed Beau onto her back and positioned Pistachio so he wouldn't fall off . "There's another one over there who needs help getting out, too. I'll distract the big fish if you can get him, too, and take him with you." The hybrid assured her.
Nuregami nodded once again and looked in the direction Lykas had pointed, just barely spotting Tsuki floating in the lake in the distance. With her orders given, she headedn toward Tsuki as Lykas disappeared into the water with Acid Armor, blending himself in perfectly. By the time he had given his partner her orders, Dondozo had breached the surface again and was attacking with what looked like energy constructs that looked like giant sushi. "What the ~/~?" He muttered to himself. How the catfish came to know what sushi was in the first place was irrelevant at the moment but he had to wonder why it would have chosen that, specifically, to form it's attack into. Regardless of that, he saw Furor follow the orders he'd given her and whip her tail around with Dark energy infusing much of her body as she attempted to smash through the constructs. With any luck, she'd manage to catch Dondozo and the smaller fish Lykas couldn't see in it's mouth with the whip-like blow.
"Time to offer some assistance." Lykas decided, allowing himself to become visible and his tentacles taking on a crimson glow as they seemed to grow to incredible lengths and wind around the Dondozo as he attempted to use Power Whip to weaken the Big Catfish Pokemon more.

Kuat would position itself in front of the withdrawn Torkoal, winding back with its tail and charging it full of Steel energy before finally swinging the mighty appendage with fierce might as it smacked the fire tortoise with a powerful Iron Tail. Did anyone yell fore?
The Torkoal would be launched off the ground and sent hurtling towards the titanic worm, its body beginning to spin violently and gaining more and more speed. Randy's Helping Hand would also kick in during mid flight as a surge of white energy surrounded the shelled creature, its speed and velocity increasing further.
The Lurking Steel Titan would have just enough time to register the bullet of a Torkoal heading straight for it and the weakened spot of its tail and from the looks of it the worm realized the dire situation it found itself in as it could only look on in horror before Torkoal made impact. The Coal Pokemon would collide with the spot on its tail they had heated and cooled rapidly twice over, the tortoise smashing straight through it like wet paper and appearing on the other end of the worm, leaving a large hole in its wake. Its new destination was now the cliff side of which it would not pass through, having spent most of its kinetic energy going through the Titan.
"Ooorth!" Bellowed the worm as it reeled back in pain, head to the sky as it continued to let out a groan of pain and swayed back and forth. As the Titan wiggled in the air its aura of energy began to disappear and with it so did its mass as the Orthworm began to rapidly shrink.
By the time it was all over the Orthworm would flop down onto the ground knocked out cold, the hole remaining in its tail though that would heal up fine once it got some nice iron rich soil in its system. While it was no longer 'Titan' in size it was still a rather large Orthworm, bigger than any other they could find. If anyone wanted to capture it now was their chance.
[The Lurking Steel Titan has been defeated!]
Once Sol checked on his Torkoal, who was now embedded in the bottom of a clif side, he would notice once Torkoal was removed a small cave was revealed and inside of it was the fabled plant they were searching for and Orthworm was guarding; the Salty Herba Mystica!

Having finished skipping along the lake’s surface like a stone on water, Tsuki’s senses were overwhelmed every which way. How ironic it was, he’d wonder once he wasn’t immediately in danger, that he had been more effective in battle with a lone Magby than he had with a Titan Pokemon and his Blastoise. Coming in with much less of a handicap had made him cocky, probably. Made him think that he could forego strategy and go guns a blazing without a care for consequences. When the Milotic moved to him, he reached out and let it take him out of the water. While he coughed out lake water (AGAIN) and hoped to Arceus that Lykas’ Pokemon could evade the sushi constructs, he vowed he’d actually take things more seriously. This entire outing had been littered with his carelessness, if the pajamas and haphazard collection of Pokeballs strapped to him were any indication.
Tsuki stood on the sandy edges of the lake’s shore and looked at the Dondozo’s rampage. It was weakened, being bombarded with attacks, and fighting paralysis. He knew he didn’t have to lay in on attacking, just help to keep the thing still while the others did what they did best. Twice half drowned, he still wasn’t going to quit now. He could do something, he just needed to not be an idiot. The trainer gripped the last Pokeball he’d use for the fight.
“Coffee, use Mean Look.”
With a toss of a Pokeball, Tsuki uttered his command while sending out the Cofagrigus he hadn’t used in a long while. In over three years for that matter and, if he was being honest, he didn’t fully remember how he had gotten it. But Coffee had still waited for him and that had to mean something. The living sarcophagus floated into the air, faced the Dondozo and opened the tomb it wore for a face and shot out an explosion of Ghost Chi, meant to startle the beast into staying perfectly still.

Kuat huffed in pleasure with how the Orthworm went down, quite pleased with the aim. Aile would pat the Steelix on his tail, chuckling. “Nice aim, Kuat. Nice aim…” The woman tilted her head and looked at the metal worm on the ground, smaller now, but still quite large, larger than any they came across on the way over. “Hm… You know? Why not…” She dug out a Great Ball and threw it, the blue orb hitting it and beginning to shake. Once… twice… thrice… It rocked forward and clicked, putting a solid cap on the story of the titan Orthworm. She watched as the Pokéball then teleported off, presumably going to her box system. With that, she let out a long sigh and recalled all of her Pokémon left out, giving a long stare at Dega’s ball before stowing it away. “Alright… Do I need to use a revive on Dega? Or do we have a lead on this Herba? And can I get a leaf off of the Herba?”

"Truthfully, I was going to suggest that Orthworm would be a good addition to your team," Sol remarked once Aile went about catching the fallen titan. "Nice shot too, though I'm not sure how thrilled they are about suddenly becoming a very hot hockey puck... Torkoal! Hang on, I'll get you free. Just stay still!" He'd run over to the cliffside Torkoal had ended up in after going through the titan, taking a fair bit of effort to pry them free. Though he'd succeed after a few minutes- and contemplating having Swampert aid in the effort before deciding it wouldn't be terribly welcome- the force would send the two back and he was glad that Torkoal's weight kept them from going too far. Or, more importantly, from ending up on top of him. "Finalmente! Sorry about that, are you... alright...?" If his words trailing off wasn't an indication he'd seen something, him slowly pointing towards the hole in the cliffside and an oddly white herb just a little further in would spell it out immediately. "Don't think we'll need to worry about that, if what's in there's what we're looking for. Arven! It should be safe now."

Arven perked up as Sol called out to him, popping his head out from behind a rock on top of the cliff side to the right of Sol. The boy would send out his Toedscruel who would carry him down the cliff, the living fungus using its many appendages to expertly climb down safely. Once he was on the ground he'd recall his Pokemon and scurry up to the Herba Mystica, his eyes sparkling as he bore witness to it. "That's it! The Salty Herba Mystica! Salty Herba Mystica is good for alleviating aching hands and feet. It also aids in healing neuropathy injuries such as numbness and muscle weakness. Legend says just one leaf will have the sorest of muscles feeling like new again!" Arven declared as he reached out and plucked some of the plant.
With the Salty Herba Mystica in hand he turned around and spotted Aile, then looking down at the plant for a second before turning back to Aile and approaching her, extending what he picked towards Aile. "Here, I think it's safer with you guys anyways." He said. "So what now? Three down? Back to the academy to make a plan for the next one?"
