SubonicXP When the monkey saw that its flames weren't doing much of nothing it did the next best thing it could think of, it picked up a rock and used Fling, the rock taking on an aura of darkness before he hurled it at the other rock. Standing its ground, Carbink took the rock head on, though the aura seemed to faze it about as well as the Flamethrower did. Still, the Light Screen did nothing to mitigate the attack whatsoever, and the two attacks did have their toll, however slight it seemed. Because of this, it decided to also put up a Reflect wall, leaving Amaranth to wonder what the heck Carbink was thinking past its usual preference for defense.

"What a terrifying spider! Eeek!" Tucker exaggerated with a laugh. "Time to start the show and entertain the crowd! Come now little one, let's make a spectacular show together, win or lose! Now then, Swampert, use Mud Bomb!" The Dome Ace declared as he spun around and flung his arm out, glittering thrown out of somewhere on his body.
"Pert!" Cried the Pokemon as it hocked up a large ball of mud which would fly at Galvantula and once near would explode into a surge of mud.
-----
The Simisear at this point became annoyed, nothing seemed to work well! And so with the fire typing getting angrier by the second it allowed its anger to take over and unleashed a massive Fire Blast. Not that it would do much good.

Galvantula tried to back up, away from the bomb and as it made impact, mud went everywhere on it and on the battlefield. The Galvantula tried to shake off what mud it could on itself, all the while trying to shake off the harsh blow that was the attack. The only reason why the damage wasn't catatstrophic was because of its bug typing, but nothing more. "Galvantula! Don't worry about it! Giga Drain!" The Galvantula, its eyes trained on the Swampert scurried over and leaped to the Swampert to latch on and start draining away.

SubonicXP The Simisear at this point became annoyed, nothing seemed to work well! And so with the fire typing getting angrier by the second it allowed its anger to take over and unleashed a massive Fire Blast. Not that it would do much good. While the Fire Blast indeed wasn't too effective between Carbink's resistances and the Light Screen serving to mitigate the damage, luck would find its way to shine not on Amaranth, but on her opponent as the attack seemed to leave a fairly nasty burn on Carbink and threatened to start sapping what strength it had. Still, it did try to finally fight back using itself for a makeshift Rock Throw, levitating above Simisear and trying to drop on top of it.

Lacuna would stare at the Froslasses surrounding her, attempting to decipher exactly which one was the real one. Well, there was only one solution in the little Mawile's mind. Opening her jaw wide and preparing a Crunch, she would attempt to line up the afterimages and charge them all, only biting down with the jaw when she felt physical contact. Of course, the Froslass had ample time to attack while Lacuna lined up her clumsy attack.

Galvantula would be successful in latching on, then sucking away at Swampert's delicious juices (ha). Tucker however did not seem bothered by this, instead he seemed ecstatic. "Oh my! Good job! Now I must turn things back around. Swampert, Rock Slide." The Dome Ace commanded.
One might wonder where Swampert would get rocks from and such a question would be valid until the beast began to pound wildly on the ground. The pounding and force of chi was so great that chunks of the ceiling would begin to fall on both Swampert and Galvantula, piling up on them.
-----
Carbink would be successful in landing the Rock Throw which would be super effective but the Simisear could still fight. That said Amaranth's opponent still recalled his Pokemon and threw his hands up. "I surrendah! Ain't nothing my man can do, ya know?" He said with a laugh before walking off.
With the man gone the ref presented Amaranth with her berry basket like usual.
-----
"Confuse Ray!" The trainer commanded as all the Froslass began to give off a fiercely bright flash of light.
(1 and Mawile hits the original right away. And other number and Froslass gets the Confuse Ray off before the attack connects and you decide how it goes from there.)

"Galvantula! Look out!" The rocks rained down and as they fell, Galvantula had to let go, staggering out. Practically everything that Galvantula took from the Swampert practically went out to the wayside. "Galvantula! Try it again! Another Giga Drain!" Unfortunately, Galvantula staggered a bit, flinching. That Rock Slide probably rocked the spider's world harder than the boy realized.

"Too much defense?" If nothing else, Amaranth had a feeling she found who she might want to use if she had to deal with fire. She still wasn't sure what Carbink was thinking, but then, maybe what it was thinking wasn't a bad thing. Unless the defenses can be penetrated, attacking would just become futile and the opponent tires out.
Still, she was quick to get things together with the basket, taking what she needed to restore each of her Pokemon and leaving the rest to be taken away for anyone else that might need them. She kept quiet, knowing now not to underestimate any of the opponents here.

Kaya had to fight to get to the front of the crowd in order to see what was going on but when he did, his jaw nearly hit the floor. Tristen was fighting the Dome Ace?
"Go, Tristen, Go!" He shouted from the crowded spectator's area. Boy did he have a story to tell Blizz after this.

Mawile would leap onto the Froslass before the Confuse Ray could sparkle into view, the Crunch ripping into the Ghost type. Turning herself around for a combo blow, Lacuna was hit face first with the blast of Confuse Ray. She powered througha dn swung an Iron Head at the Froslass. One of the two Froslasses that was still floating in the air.

Tucker frowned as he saw that the spider had flinched, unlike Alan he truly seemed to enjoy entertaining the crowd and something like this did not make for good entertainment. "Oh this will not do! Poor entertainment but alas I am a Brain so I must push my challengers as hard as possible..." He said with a sigh. "Muddy Water, darling." The Dome Ace commanded.
With a cry the Swampert would expel from its mouth (a very gross way of doing this btw) a surge of muddy water which would rush towards Galvantula in the form of a tidal wave. Even the crowd gasped at this gross display and yet Tucker seemed pleased by their response. I guess grossing people out is entertainment too.
-----
Amaranth's next opponent was a dark haired man with narrowed eyes. As he took his position he said something to her in an undecipherable and foreign language, his words followed by a bow before he tossed a Pokeball onto the field below, the ball popping open to reveal a Tentracruel. Game on?
-----
The Crunch hurt something hard and the Mawile apparently didn't see too well as it only clipped it with an Iron Head and yet it still hurt enough to disrupt its control over the rest of the clones so they disappeared. "Blizzard!" The trainer commanded, the Froslass unleashing a chilling gale far more powerful than the one made by the Clamperl earlier.

"Go, Tristen, Go!" He shouted from the crowded spectator's area. Boy did he have a story to tell Blizz after this. "You a betting man?" A person dressed in a black cloak asked Kaya, having to shout to be heard even though he stood right by him. The man was so close to him that he could smell the incredibly strong scent of coffee. He felt like even if he wasn't so close he could still smell the coffee on him. "Feel like betting against the Dome Ace? I'll double what BP you put up if ya win." He said, a toothy grin could be seen in the shadows of his hood.

The Galvantula would get washed out by the Swampert's attack. Worse still, what didn't help matters is that Galvantula wouldn't be able to retaliate. After one massive crushing blow such as that Rock Slide, it wouldn't have took much. Tristen stared in complete shock for a moment. This was the power of a Battle Frontier brain? No wonder people have hard times against trainers like this. "...Galvantula, return!" Tristen said, recalling his fallen spider. He wasn't too sure as to what to do at this point. As far as he could think, Galvantula was his best bet with that Giga Drain attack, but the Swampert put that notion by the wayside in a grand hurry. The boy was now fretting over how he would stand against this Swampert from here on. "...uh...Go! Dragonite!" Tristen shouted, tossing the second Pokemon out for battle. In a flash, the dragon came out. "ARRRRO!" The Dragon roared out once more. Dragonite looked over, seeing its foe before it. "Careful Dragonite, that Swampert already beat Galvantula up!" he said. "Its really no joke!" "Arroo..." "Dragonite! Dragon Claw!" "ARRRO!" The Dragonite kicked off the ground and rushed for the Swampert, its claws showing off its draconian fury once more, coming down on the Swampert.

Game on?. "Come again...?" Amaranth had absolutely no idea what this guy just said. She could only hope it wasn't some sort of insult hurled at her, but based on the bow that followed, maybe it wasn't. It didn't change the fact that she saw Tentacruel and way too many tentacles for her liking. Not the kind of Pokemon she seemed interested in acquiring for herself one day, at the very least. Even now, she led with her Kangaskhan, though really, she had no idea how a Pokemon like that could really be tackled.

Kaya started the brush the cloaked man's proposition off but he had a thought. He didn't really come here for the chance to win prizes so....why not?
"Sure, I don't see the harm. I know that kid challenging him and I'm pretty sure he'll win, even if just barely." He started in reply. "And I've only got twelve Battle Points but I'll put them all on the kid to win." He ended turning to face the man properly for a moment. When he turned was that moment when Swampert threw up on Galvantula so he'd be glad he missed seeing it in person later. That toothy grin put him off a bit but he guessed the lack of visible emotion in his own shrouded eyes might do the same to others.
