As the Delphox's teasing reached new heights, most of those around them found themselves in some level of confusion, save for Machina, who seemed rather unfazed by the sight. Though light chuckles began to emerge as the stupidity of it all sank in, though Nova was a bit too preoccupied with the implications still to realize she'd spilled her tea. The hot liquid began to drip down onto her dress and by extension, her legs, causing her to momentarily babble incoherently as she rushed for any form of napkins. It was about this point that Machina left, leaving behind a slightly old magazine for them to look at. Through the vague hint and the date on it, he realized what it was with a soft chuckle.
"Figures he'd have this..." He thought aloud, as Isis seemed to realize what it was as well. He never got to read it, actually, after everything that happened following the fair... Brief memories of that time flashed in his mind, happy ones for once, as he flipped to through the magazine to the ninth page. Sure enough, there were three pictures of him around the article, one with his mask, another with him about, but his face still not exactly clear in the photo. Then the final one, his face rather clear, of while they were on that second trip on the ferris wheel... He could see why she was in such a rush to excuse herself from the table. He smiled softly for a moment, obscuring it with a sip of water, before he rose from his chair without actually reading the article. "I should probably see if they've got anything that might be better for cleaning this up, too."

Zero made his way over to the counter where Isis was, asking for something to help them clean up the mess as well. The person behind the counter disappeared for a few moments in search of something they could spare, leaving the two trainers more or less on their own for the time being. "...Well, I certainly did say a picture would last longer." He commented, referring to the picture of him in the ferris wheel.

She looked to Gio with a smile as he asked for reassurance that it was really okay to join them for lunch. "Of course I'm serious silly!" Isis laughed. "It's just lunch, and you went through all the trouble of introducing yourself. The way I figure it, the least I can do is offer a seat." She suggested with a shrug. When Machina left that magazine though, her magazine, with her article from a year ago, she was too embarrassed to stick around, hurriedly excusing herself under the guise of gathering napkins to clean the water up from Fynx's daring act. It was a cover for her embarrassment though, and so she tensed a bit when Zero seemed to see right through it and approached her. "Heh.... You sound like my brother...." Isis smiled sadly, struggling to say much of anything else. "...I can't believe he... Had that... Haha..." Isis chuckled weakly, cheeks flushing a bit more. This was so embarrassing... She had intended for Zero to see the article much earlier on, and by now she had hoped he wouldn't see since it was such an old issue, but of course now it came into circulation of all times. Isis couldn't stop giggling nervously at the irony of it all. Then of course Leon had to text her back. While she was happy to see it, she knew how it made Zero feel, so she put it off for now, glancing up with light relief as the counterman came back with two rag towels and some napkins. Isis took one of the towels and half the pile of napkins, leaving the rest for Zero.
Meanwhile Atona was both embarrassed and angry. He couldn't believe that the delphox had pulled such a stunt. Though he probably should have seen it coming. He reprimanded her lightly, asking if she had any shame at all, though she only smartly remarked back in such a way that Atona couldn't help but scoff at and ignore out of annoyance while he attempted to dry himself off with a few napkins. Fynx finally got off of him, offering to help dry him off. Atona would have agreed or even thanked her for righting her wrong, but rather than going to grab some napkins like he'd expected, she started to pat him down with her warm furry paws. Atona squirmed uncomfortably. "I would rather you---" He started to insist, but as Fynx started to move her hands lower, Atona practically jumped out of his seat in order to get away from Fynx. "I will take care of it myself." He growled, clearly not amused with her antics as he stormed off to get more napkins from Isis. "May I?" He asked Isis pointedly, reaching out for the towel she was holding. "Yeah, here." Isis nodded, and with that the mega lucario swiped the towel from Isis and began drying off his fur, muttering angry incoherent words under his breath as he did so.
With the lucario as a brief distraction, Isis quickly checked her xtransceiver to read up on Leon's message.

"Heh, was it as grim with your brother?" Zero chuckled weakly, remembering her saying something similar when that third picture was taken. "I can't help but wonder how long he's been hanging onto that... At least he was the one delivering it, and not Andreas." He grimaced lightly, not at the vibrating of Isis' wrist, in fact he hadn't noticed it as he thought on how the older woman would've gone about it. It certainly would've been less... tactful. "Feels weird though, looking back on things like that. Kinda like taking a step forward, only to find you actually took a few backwards." About then, the server came back with towels, napkins, and with Zero taking hold of the pitcher of water, the two trainers made their way back to their tables.
Nova immediately noticed, and rather than waiting, hurried off with Atona to reach their trainers, the psychic not even asking as she took the towel and started trying to get the scorching liquid off of her. Zero chuckled a bit, as the Gardevoir cursed quietly at the heat of it. "Need a little help with that, Nova?"
"No, it's fine, it's fine..." She waved off the offer, fortunately getting it all off of her dress. "Arceus... Fynx, perhaps next time you give us a warning before you make us spill our drinks?" Nova gave the shiny Delphox an annoyed look, but the soft one you'd give to a friend after you can finally laugh at what they did. Zero simply nodded as Isis proposed they return to their companions, their pokemon in tow. Nova went back to her seat, moving the towel around mentally as her trainer finally thought something he actively intended for her to hear. Using the Gardevoir as a medium, she sent the message into Isis' mind, keeping it between them without spoiling anyone's mood. Hey, Isis, after this... can we talk again? I feel like... I did help a bit, last time.

Rose was relieved that Isis didn't mind her complete lack of acknowledging how popular the photographer was. And also, when the thing with Fynx was resolved. She started to eat her sandwich again in silence, however, couldn't help but notice the little blue reptile that Gio had arrived with was causing some trouble. She finished her sandwich, getting up and grabbing the starter before it could cause any serious problems. "Come on, you. You should stick by your trainer." Rose told it, bringing it back to the table. However, though she personally preferred fluffy, soft and warm things, she found the gator interesting enough to keep on her lap. "Heh. Gio, what pokemon is this?" Rose asked.
Fynx was highly amused by the situation. It was only when Atona snapped at her and jumped away that she was taken aback a bit. Maybe... maybe that was a little too far. Her ears folded back slightly as she watched Atona storm off to dry himself off. She settled back to sit down quietly, looking over at Nova when she addressed her. "It wouldn't be as fun with a warning." the delphox commented to the mega gardevoir. Her light blue gaze was drawn over to Atona, though, as when he did return, he stood by Isis' side. Hmph. She supposed the old dog might not have any amount of fun in him. Even if she did feel like she might have pushed it too far. A part of her was rooting for the sight of her dumping water on herself to be permanently on his mind. Another, wondered if maybe she could have been a bit more... tactful. At least she did achieve a reaction out of it. The Delphox crossed her arms over her chest, legs crossing beneath her furry 'skirt'.
Rose smiled up at Isis after she returned and asked how her sandwich was. It was all gone by now, and was undeniably good. "It was delicious! I'm all fueled up for shopping now~" Rose responded with a smile.

He then suggested it was a good thing it was Machina making the delivery rather than Andreas. Isis winced and nodded in agreement. She could only imagine the things that the murkrow haired trainer would say. Isis didn't really have much to say on his next comment, and thankfully the server came back by then, handing them supplies to clean up the mess that Nova and Fynx had made. Afterwards, when Isis made to go sit back down, Nova projected Zero's thoughts to her, asking if they could talk again after this shopping trip. Isis gave him a soft smile and subtle nod in answer. She was glad to hear that talking had helped, she had been under the impression that it hadn't.

So this little guy was called a Totodile? He squirmed in her arms, but she did not let him go until it was time for him to eat. "So, is he your starter then?" Rose asked. Fynx zoned right in on the conversation, giving Gio a look. "You haven't even been training him since then, have you?" Fynx stated, looking at the other pokemon with them. They certainly seemed to have more use than the little gator. The Delphox huffed a bit, narrowing her gaze on Gio. "You should give him to Rose if you are really that disinterested in him." she commented quite seriously. Fynx had been sure that only Gio heard her comments just then.
Rose looked over to Isis as she asked about some stores in Lumiose. "Oh! Sure! There's all kinds of boutiques here! There's one that I stopped by before going to tanabata, but that's closer to the train station in the northern part of Lumiose. There's quite a few scattered here and there, but the most popular places are on the main roads heading into the center." she explained, and was more than willing to lead the way. She was much better at showing than telling, anyways.

The food was brought out and everyone seemed excited to go on a shopping trip. Isis made mention of Giovanni being from Johto, she followed up by asking him how long he had been in Kalos. He didn't quite feel comfortable with answering that he knew Kalos like the back of his hand because of Team Snaggem. "I've known Rose for a while know, we were on the same team at that horrid Orange Island Ball awhile back" he paused trying to figure out how to answer the last part. "Your guess is as good as mine, I've only really stopped in Kalos when I was younger with Jasmine" he lied, it wasn't very obvious and he felt bad about it he tried to push a hand behind his head to mask it a little better. It was a completely normal behavior so hopefully no one would catch on.
His attention turned to Rose as she asked if the Totodile was his Starter. His gaze quickly shot to Fynx remembering what happened when the Delphox had asked him the same question. He opened his mouth to start answering her question when Fynx suddenly popped a voice into his head. It made him a little nervous to answer but he gave it a shot, "Well here is the thing Rose" his hand flew up back behind his head again as he gave a half hearted smile. "He's more like my second Starter but when I joined the Johto League he was my first official Pokemon on paper so in a way yes he is my Starter. He's very hyper and kind of hard for me to keep control of and then he wears himself out and sleeps alot" he paused for a moment and thought about the offer Fynx had made. Gio wasn't sure if she was serious so he decided to take her up on the offer. "If you want Rose, since I can't really take care of him. Ummm do you think maybe possibly you might want to try and take care of him for a while?" Fynx had a point. He trained the little guy for a little bit but the Totodile was just a little to much for him. Maybe Rose could do alot better with him.

It was funny, kind of like a secret joke had been said between them and know one else had any idea. As Gio and his pokemon got food, Nova ordered another panini, and so Isis decided to be productive by posing the next subject at hand; shopping. She had very little idea where they should go, and figured that Rose, being the most likely expert here might know, though the question was open to all. Zero suggested the brochures at the counter, but Isis shook her head. "I don't think that's a good idea. Brochures are always tourist traps.... I would know." Isis sighed. Brochure writing was not... Fynx was quick to use her psychic ability to block the mention of the ball from Rose's ears. She didn't want the red head's mood to be brought down. Her trainer didn't even seem to notice, though. The Delphox watched Gio as he answered Rose. Rose seemed a bit confused, though, as he explained. "Second starter...? I didn't know you could have more than one." Rose questioned, tilting her head. Fynx facepalmed, then looked a Gio. That wasn't really a helpful explanation. At least he seemed to be taking her suggestion seriously. "O-oh, really? Are you sure?
