Elizabeth had soon arrived at Ambrette Town, looking around as she could see the ocean on one side. There are probably some good places where she can train with her pokemon. But first she wanted to get to a Pokemon Center and explore around this town a bit. As she was making her way to there though, a young boy carrying around a net quickly came up to her, demanding a pokemon battle. While it was a little annoying, this would be the best way to get her pokemon to level up more at least. So she agreed to the battle as he let out a Surskit, knowing immediately who to sent out which was Yarrow. The boy's Surskit went first, using Quick Attack as it had quickly hit Yarrow and did some damage. "Yarrow, use Thundershock!" she called out as the Jolteon nodded back. So he then sent a bolt of lightning straight at the Surskit, doing a lot of damage due to the typing. But the boy now had his Surskit use Bubble, the Jolteon being hit by bubbles as damage was dealt, barely hanging on. She knew that she would win this battle though, the last attack that will defeat this Surskit. "Yarrow, use Thundershock again!" Elizabeth called out as the Jolteon nodded, sending a lightning bolt straight at the Surskit and doing a lot of damage. It was enough that the Surskit could not battle any more, fainting as the boy returned the pokemon. She also decided to return Yarrow back, figuring that they wouldn't last much longer anyways. Then she let out Aster as the boy also let out a Yanma, ready to battle again. "Aster, use Peck!" she called out as the Natu nodded back to that. He went out and pecked at the Yanma several times with their beak, dealing a lot of damage. Now the boy told the Yanma to use Tackle, the pokemon tackling Aster and dealing a bit of damage. "Aster, use Peck again!" she had called out once more, knowing that this was it. So the Natu soon went over and pecked at the Yanma with his beak several times, dealing a lot of damage. It was enough as the pokemon couldn't fight anymore and fainted, the boy returning it and didn't have any more pokemon to fight with. So Elizabeth had won that battle, glad that Aster and Yarrow could get some more experience.

After having finished that battle with the young boy, Elizabeth knew that she needed to get Yarrow and Aster healed up again. So she had soon found the Pokemon Center, walking inside and handing all her pokemon to the Nurse Joy. While she was waiting, she was listening to all the people around her talk and find out more about this town. Apparently there is an aquarium here that is free to enter, thinking that she will definitely have to check that out at least. She also wanted to go down to the beach, looking out at the ocean and maybe swim a little bit too. It wasn't long before the Nurse Joy finally came and handed her back all her pokemon, completely healed up now. Elizabeth was now leaving the Pokemon Center, on her way to the Ambrette Aquarium.

Mel snorted and rolled her eyes. "Well I'm so glad to hear it," she remarked semi-sarcastically, an amused smirk on her face, "But, y'know, I think I'll just stick with trying to actually dry off." Although she... wasn't exactly sure how she might manage that. She glanced over at Lucy, eying her thoughtfully, but before she could determine whether clinging to the monferno would potentially help make the evaporation process faster, Lala was offering her his coat. Immediately, an amused, questioning sort of smile crossed her face. "Thank you..." she murmured slowly, a bit surprised. She chuckled, though, as she put it on, then moved over to pick up Lucy. "Aren't you a gentleman," she teased, flashing him a smirk.
She adjusted the coat a bit and coddled a wary, slightly fatigued Lucy in her arms, the monkey now gripping onto one of her arms, apparently just in case, but otherwise relaxing and watching Lafayette. The man caught Mel's gaze as well, when he addressed the dewott, and the trainer's expression lit up a bit. She knew it was possible he was doing that just for her sake (or just because she was here, and to avoid another nagging), but... it still warmed her heart a bit to see it. Sometimes even forced behaviors could become a habit. She chuckled a bit as Lafayette chided Noah for complaining, in what seemed to be very much 'his way', before lowering her gaze back down, and making sure she had everything.
She looked back over as Lafayette asked about what to do next, snapping her purse shut and giving a bit of a shrug. "S'pose that depends on what 'rage on' means," she replied, a bit playfully. She started back towards the door. "I should honestly probably go back down and see if I can find my mum. You can go get some more food if you want? Or look around the aquarium, if you're interested. Or if... Noah's interested," she added, an amused smile crossing her face as she glanced back down at the dewott. She shrugged again, opening the door and holding it for him. "I don't think we need to stay much longer, if you're feeling ready to leave," she finished.

Lafayette smirked as she accepted his coat, pulling his hand back and folding his arms over his chest. He did have to scoff a little bit at her remark about being a gentleman. That was probably the farthest thing from the truth ever, but he certainly wasn’t going to crush her assumptions like that. "Yeh welcome sheila. Don’ wan’ yeh catchin’ a coldie." He remarked. Which was true, he certainly would’ve felt some sort of bad if Mel got sick from the accidental dunk. He might’ve laughed about it (hell it was funny) but he wasn’t completely heartless.
As she retrieved her things and prepared to set up, he considered her offer a moment. He did grin as she questioned him on what ‘rage on’ mean, chuckling some. "Ain’ gonna chance a guess this time sheila?" He mused, head tilting. "Basically… getting’ back ta the parteh." He had no point answering it, still smirking. As she listed off some options, he thought a moment.
"Whateva’ yeh wan’ sheila. Aftah all… yeh asked me here." Lafayette remarked, grinning and giving a wink at her. It was entirely up to her after all, he could stay or go or probably cause some kind of a problem that got him kicked out in the end. It didn’t bother him either way. He glanced over at Noah as he waited, seeing if the Dewott had finished trying to choose which one of the shells he’d be keeping, seeming to still struggle with the choices. It wasn't long before Elizabeth had arrived at the Ambrette Aquarium, walking inside. She was surprised by the size of this place before being greeted by a staff member. Apparently there was some sort of party going on right now and they had thought she was an attendee because of what she was wearing. Guess it was a good thing then that she had changed back into this outfit at least. For now she decided to explore the aquarium, looking around at everything. Elizabeth was amazed by all of the water pokemon that she is getting to see so up close like this. This is really nice, getting to go to an aquarium and checking out all the exhibits. So then she headed for this party, noticing quickly that the other guests were either famous or rich, feeling a little out of place. She was used to going to fancy parties from when she was a coordinator back home, but it has been a long time since then. Soon she saw the buffet with all the food, getting herself some little bites to eat. She didn't recognize anyone here, hoping that none of them were connected to her father or Team Void, making polite conservation though while eating. This is certainly a change of pace from battling and training, probably what her life would have been more like had she continued to become a top coordinator.

Elizabeth was continuing to eat and make polite conversation with the other guests during the party. If anyone had asked about what she does, she just told them that she was a coordinator visiting from Johto. Technically it was true since she was born in Johto and she had been a coordinator after all. But she figured that saying that she is a trainer now wouldn't look as good as being a coordinator, considering that everyone else is either famous or rich. After a good while, she was feeling kind of bored and wanted to go check out the beach that she had seen earlier. So Elizabeth started to head towards the door, only to find other people out there already and she didn't want to interrupt what they were doing. She went back to the party, going back to eating some more food and conversing with the other guests while hopeful that maybe those people will be done out there. But even if she doesn't get to go the beach, she probably won't stay too much longer anyways since she really needs to get to training all her pokemon.

Elizabeth eventually decided that it was time to go, needing to get some training done with her pokemon. So she left the party and headed out of the Aquarium, knowing that there was a cave nearby that she could go to. She was heading in that direction after leaving the Aquarium when all of a sudden, five Sevipers appeared in front of her and wanted to battle. It surprised and made her shiver, seeing all of them but noticed that they were really weak, thinking. None of her pokemon know any moves that hit more than one target, so it would take a while but they can be defeated. "Let's go Primrose!" Elizabeth had said as she let out the Ducklett, wanting to use her. "Use Water Pulse!" she called out as the pokemon nodded back. Primrose made a ball of water appear from her mouth before shooting it straight at one of the Seviper, instantly defeating it and seeing it run off. Now there were only four Sevipers left as each of them used Lick on the Ducklett, only dealing a little damage luckily but it definitely builds up. So Elizabeth kept having Primrose use Water Pulse, defeating each Seviper one by one while the Sevipers kept using Lick over and over. Soon enough, Primrose had fired off the last Water Pulse at the last remaining Seviper, finally having finished that battle. She was just lucky that those Seviper had only used Lick and not any other stronger attacks, otherwise that would have been really bad.

Mel chuckled and shook her head. "A 'coldie', hm? That like a cuter version of a cold? Am I guaranteed only a little red nose and the sniffles?" she asked. She placed a playful hand on his shoulder. "I'm kidding. I appreciate the gesture," she assured him, adjusting the coat and checking to make sure she had everything. She was still a little wary about heading back to the party while she was still as wet as she was, but... it couldn't be helped. And the dress didn't show it.... too much, did it? ... It probably did. Oh well, though. Perhaps it would be a good reason to make a swifter exit. She could claim Lucy spilled punch on her or something... Lots and lots of punch....
She smiled, not quite chuckling, but giving a breath, muffled sort of laugh at Lafayette's.... not a tease, but remark, and shook her head. "No, not this time," she confirmed quickly. She nodded a bit as he essentially did, though, affirm what she'd assumed it to mean. "Seems such a more fitting term for a more lively party... I think this would be called more a... bore, really, than a rage..." she mused absently. She sighed a bit, giving a smile, then a conceding side nod and a shrug. "True. And I appreciate you coming. I hope it hasn't been too drab with all the dress up and such," she remarked, starting down the stairs.
She pushed the door open, Lucy still held in her other arm, but came to a very abrupt stop in the doorway. "... Shite." She shifted, moving to hold the door for Lafayette, leaning against it a bit as she did, flashing him more of a smile than her curse would suggest possible. "Think I've got something to take care of, Lala. Mind checkin' out the place on your own for a bit?" she suggested. She brought her other hand up and took the coat off, Lucy reflexively wrapping her arms about her trainers neck to cling to her on her own. Mel brought the coat and handed it over to Lala, hooked on one finger. "You can have your coat back, too," she offered, a slightly playful glint in her eye. It.... was a little wet, after all...

With Primrose having lost a lot of her health from that battle, Elizabeth knew that she needed to go back to the Pokemon Center. So she then headed in that direction, walking inside as she went up to the front deck. She handed the Nurse Joy all of her pokemon, now waiting for them to get healed up. It wasn't very long before the Nurse Joy had come back, handing the pokemon back as they were all healed up. So she then thanked the woman, thinking of where she would be heading off to next. Elizabeth knew that there was a cave nearby, figuring that it would be a good place to do some more training at least. Then she decided to head out of the Pokemon Center, finally back on her intended path towards Glittering Cave, leaving Ambrette Town.

Lafayette let out a laugh at that. "I don’ think there’s a cute version of a coldie, sheila." He retorted with a smile, head tilting as it grew just a bit. "Mahbeh if ya luckeh, that’s all it’ll be. Sure yeh sport the lil’ red nose look well." He mused, chuckling and shaking his head. Mel had a good sense of humor and he enjoyed the playful jesting at the words he used. At least she wasn’t being cruel in regards to it; he’d had enough of that growing up and that was pretty much why most people got punched. But Mel was nice and interested, not trying to be mocking (at least from what he could gather) and so he was willing to play along.
"No worries Mello." Lafayette remarked, turning his attention back to check on Noah. The Dewott still seemed to be struggling with his selection, with only two shells out of the twenty he’d brought back set off to the side, the fiercest of focused looks on his face as he mulled between the others. He would at times pick up two, do a side by side comparison before setting them down and repeating the motion with other shells. Lafayette watched for about a minute before rolling his eyes as the otter began to repeat the process of comparing the same two shells. Really, was is that hard? He was going to be here all day at the rate that Noah was going. He shook his head and looked back at Mel as she remarked on the party.
"Well… can’ be helped. Fanceh rages ain’ much for bein’ excitin’." He commented. Which was usually the truth from his experiences. Getting a room full of elites together for a party and expecting anything exciting to come from it was a pipe dream. Only when something unexpected happen did they seem to liven up and most the time, those types of events were unwelcomed. Hilarious though.
"No worries sheila. It’s been noice. Been a while since I had to dress up’n all but eh," Lafayette shrugged, "Gotta talk ta ya at leas’. Ain’ so bad." Which was the truth. It was a pleasant change from the constant bitchy nagginess of Juliean and whatnot. He was beginning to wonder why it’d been so long since he’d heard from his employer… he had to have noticed that Lafayette wasn’t quite on the move like he should’ve been… right?
Eventually it was time to head out. Noah was still mulling through his choices and so while Mel wasn’t looking, Lafayette helped to expedite the process by grabbing three random shells and shoving the rest back into the water. He slapped a hand over the Dewott’s mouth before he could protest, shoving the shells into the creature’s arms and indicating with a look and a gesture that those were his selections and that he best deal with it. Noah just had his cheeks puffed out, but clutched the shells tightly to his chest. As much as he would’ve love to protest, he wasn’t about to ruin this good fortune. Cheri just watched the exchange with that same long intense stare, gaze eventually focusing on the shells in Noah’s arms as though she was taking an interest. That was sure to end well. Lafayette move to follow Mel, eyebrow quirking though as he heard her mutter. Was that a curse? He wondered what was up to elicit that.
"Oh?" Well that was certainly sudden. Even more so as she started handing back his coat. With a frown, he shook his head and reached hesitantly for it. He didn’t really want to take it back; she was still wet and all and an extra layer was probably good in her situation. But he wasn’t about to argue either; Mel seemed a tough cookie in her own right and she had a flame monkey to hold onto. "…Sure sheila. No worries." He remarked, folding the tux coat over his arm. He wasn’t too keen on putting it back on. "S’pose I’ll see ya in a bit then. Don’ go causin’ trouble." Lafayette gave her a little nod and eyeing before ushering Noah and Cheri along in front of him to try and browse the place some more. He wasn’t interested really in mingling with the guests, but maybe there was something else to be found to do while he waited.

Mel chuckled, flashing Lafayette a playful smile. Before she could give some playful remark, he beat her to it, and she raised an eyebrow and gave a short, scoffing little laugh as she glanced back at him. "Oh, really? You think so?" she remarked, lifting a hand up to dramatically drop a finger down to touch her nose as she tipped her face up, "Think I could pull off the Rudolph look?" She chuckled, dropping her hand down and continuing on the way out. Her focus on exiting and making sure she had her stuff was a good guarantee for her missing Lafayette's little... maneuver to expedite his companion's choosing process. Poor Noah. At a certain point, though, it was understandable, even if Mel's stubbornness might have wanted to challenge that.
"Mm, true..." she murmured thoughtfully, heading down the stairs. She glanced back when he dismissed her worries, flashing a curious, quizzical smile at his remark, as if asking if he were serious. She really couldn't tell. She supposed the little... 'show' she and Lucy unwittingly put on might have been entertaining, but she didn't think her company had been all that engaging. It was nice to hear he seemed to think otherwise. That, or Lafayette was one tricky, sneaky S.O.B., and he was actually trying to woo her by dropping all this playful banter and light compliments while playing completely innocent, only to swoop in and try and seduce her at the end of things. If that was what he was doing... then whoo, he was good. Real good. Because she really doubted that was what he was up to. "Well... thank you. I'm glad to hear it," she remarked, still looking uncertain, but tentatively happy, "I have to admit, I've enjoyed it a lot more than I had expected to, thanks to you." She was still mulling that over a bit, but shook her head, clearing off the thought just as she opened the door.
And had her reaction. She essentially ushered Lafayette off, nodding a bit and giving him a playful, "Yeah right" sort of expression, waiting to make sure he was heading off, before going to take care of her own business. She hunted him down a good fifteen minutes or so later, tapping him on one shoulder but coming around on his other side, the smile on her face surprisingly easy going and nonchalant for what... could have easily seemed like a playful trick. It was hard to tell if she was innocently ignoring that, or honestly oblivious to her own actions, though. "Ready to go?" she asked, "I think we can probably head off."

"If yeh realleh wanted Sheila." Lafayette murmured in response to the Rudolph comment, a grin on his face as he imagined such a though. It was a funny thought and he couldn’t help the grinning from it. A big red blinking nose? Hehe… funny. He followed Mel back downstairs to the main party, head tilting as his smile grew again.
"O’course." What wasn’t to like about good conversation? She didn’t seem to quite believe him but well… Lafayette was a rather simple guy. It didn’t take much to impress him (though it was helluva easy to make him unimpressed) . He gave a final little wave as she disappeared, spending the time she was gone browsing the food table (sneaking more snacks for later consumption in a small bag he’d found to carry Noah’s shells in as well), looking at the aquarium contents and listening in on some of the chatter. He’d even caught the attention of some elderly guest goer who proceeded to bore him with talk about her business ventures.
He was only getting away from her when Mel reappeared, grimacing and looking over his shoulder where she had tapped. He frowned when he saw nothing, spinning in place until he noticed that she was there, just on the other side of him. "Did’ya…," Lafayette started, motioning over his shoulder and looking again just to make sure he wasn’t missing someone trying to get his attention, confusion on his face. Well… alright then. "Nevahmin’," he blinked and tilted his head, grin appearing as his head bobbed. "Yeh don’ have’ta ask meh twice sheila." The last thing he wanted was to listen to some old rich ladies speal. She’d been nice but well… it was boring. As was the party.
"Where te though? You ain’ stayin’?" He was rather surprised to hear that. He figured if anything, Mel would linger until the end of the party. He wondered what was up.

Pff.... Mel would have loved to have continued their various conversations from earlier, but unfortunately, she had some things to tend to. Luckily, once they were tended to, her obligations were fulfilled. She found Lafayette shortly thereafter ,to bring him the goodness, but blinked when he spun the opposite direction, and gave her an odd look, half a question, and a gesture. She quirked an eyebrow and a smile, neither of which, still, gave away whether what she'd done was on purpose or not. "Hmm?" And that didn't help either. She didn't ask, though, and gave a short little laugh at Lafayette's eagerness, her arms crossing over her chest. Lucy was on her back, now, one arm wrapped around, below her neck so as not to choke her, the other on Mel's head as she peered over her shoulder at Lafayette. Mel seemed.... oddly okay with this set up.
"Hm? Oh, well... wherever. I'm not staying. I just had to make an appearance and fulfill familial obligations, is all," she replied with an absent gesture. "Check, aaannnd check. So I think it's safe to say we can head out. What about you? You got a gym to head to or a battle to take on after this?" she asked curiously. She paused, looking him over. "I can return the suit for you, by the way, if you just want to let me know when to come pick it up from you," she added.

Brian sighed and dropped onto his bed. Where the hell was Mel, anyway? He glanced at the clock. Actually... it hadn't been all that long since she left. A couple hours, maybe, at most. It just felt like forever because of everything that had happened. All those pokemon, the mess, the package, the.... Phia. Oh, the Phia... He dropped back, rubbing his temple, but then promptly sat back up. He had his stuff back. At least he had his stuff back. He quickly stood up, reaching for his things and jerking his dufflebag up, only to very quickly drop it when he heard -- and saw -- something move inside. "What the--!?""Ex-egg-cute!""Bwah!" Brian tripped over his own feet as he stumbled back, falling half on his bed and clinging to the mattress to keep from hitting the floor, his eyes wide as he stared at the pokemon that had leaped from the bag. An... an exeggcute!? But what kind of exeggcute was that!?! It looked all weird! It looked--
... Ah.
It looked weirdly colored. Sort of like all the pokemon he'd just caught. For Mel. He sighed a bit. Right, well then, he could just battle this one, too, and-- wait what was it doing.
Where was it going.

Brian stared at the pokeball a moment, before taking a deep breath, letting it out... and snatching up his bag. Screw this. He didn't ask for this! Mel could do... whatever with the pokemon when she got back. He was getting dressed. And taking a nap. If he'd thought about it, it probably wasn't the best course of action given how many of Mel's pokemon were free and roaming, but, well... he didn't. He just went into the bathroom, got dressed, and returned. He tossed his bag onto the ground, letting it slide off towards the table, and turned, throwing himself onto the bed and melting into the covers, his hood up over his head with his face half buried in the bed. He didn't care to dress up much, in fact, he intentionally dressed down, in sweatpants, a plain white T, and a hoody jacket. He was taking a nap....
