Arriving in Geosenge, Adder was actually feeling pretty good. They had gotten ten eggs already, and he got a garchomp. Not to mention, he was able to avoid dealing with Alicia again. Or at least…. For a while. It probably wouldn’t take too long for her to find out he’d, uh…. Sorta traded her pokemon, but whatever. He could sick her after the other two, or get her a new girafarig, or, after he de-evolved it twice, maybe give her the garchomp. He kinda wanted to keep it, though…. It was a pretty useful pokemon, after all. He’d let it stay in his PC for now, though.

On an additional bright side, he wasn’t really slowing down. He knew that eventually, it would get late, and the sun would go down, and he’d have to probably take a break to get food and rest, but for now, he still felt like he had plenty of energy. He wanted to try and get the rest from this region before the day ended, if he could, though given the timing, he wasn’t sure he would be able to. At least he’d been able to find another person to teleport him, so transportation still wasn’t much of an issue…. Yet.

After all, there was a good chance that once Alicia found out what he’d done, he’d be sorta banned from the transportation services. He hoped not, but…. It was a valid concern. For now though, he just wanted to try and hurry up and find an egg. He still had Pichu and Lady with him, and the small pokemon had plenty of energy to spare. Perhaps too much. It was keeping him out of Lady’s reach so far, though. The small electric mouse was bouncing all over the place, and while Lady watched him curiously, she hadn’t yet developed any interest in… tasting. She was more a venus fly-trap style eater, anyway.

With the three of them looking around, Adder had hoped finding an egg wouldn’t take too long, but it was proving a little more difficult than he’d expected. Just like some of the other locations, Geosenge was picked pretty clean. It made sense, given it was near a gym, it was still pretty low-leveled as far as wild pokemon went, and it was probably a popular place to go by with the beach near. Still, he’d hoped he could find one without trouble…. But it seemed to require a bit of extra searching.

Hoping the next location would be easier, Adder sighed, sitting back on his heels with a frown. This was harder than he’d thought, but at least the area was smaller. He could probably send out more of his pokemon. Or rather, maybe he’d do that next time, as a happy chirp signaled that Pichu had finally found another egg. He blinked and stood up, walking over to find the pokemon wriggling out from under a house, dusty and dirty but holding an egg out to Adder. The tween quickly snatched it out, then helped Pichu out on a second thought, before lifting the pokemon and looking at the egg. ”Huh…. Good job,” he remarked. All that energy went to use after all. Now he just needed to contact his transportation, and he’d be on his way to Laverre City.

It was a rather swift flight and within the course of only a few minutes (at least, that was what it felt like) the company had landed once more in Geosenge Town. Ashley took a moment to look around before dismounting the Charizard, adjusting his glasses and glancing back at Lizzie as she dismounted as well.
"Merci madam Lizzie." Ashley thanked, looking to his communicator. The young woman still seemed a bit confused on why such a character was involved in the scavenger hunt for eggs, lingering close to her Charizard. ”Eeehh… not a problem.”

"My name is Ashley. Ashley Fontaine." The French man introduced, noticing that she trail off on her sentence. He hadn’t properly introduced himself and so turned and offered a bow as well as he did. Lizzie squinted hard at Ashley, giving her Charizard a glance when the pokemon gave a little grunt of concern for its trainer. She was still trying to read him, or maybe she was trying to translate some of the French he kept habitually tossing out with his speech. Either way though, she was clearly debating on the topic. Eventually she straightened up, folding her arms over her chest in resignation. ”Alright, if you really think you can find it quickly, I’ll wait. I’m kind of curious exactly how you think you’ll do it…,” Ashley gave a bit of a smirk, releasing Bastien from his pokeball before snapping it back to his belt and adjusting his glasses.

Bastien blinked watched Ashley as the man moved away to observe their surroundings, glancing over at Lizzie, and noting her doing the same. Apparently, she’d gone right back to being confused as the French man unleashed a pokemon but didn’t immediately put it to work in assisting to find the eggs. She’d see that enough with other trainers to think that was going to be the situation as well but apparently… well apparently, Ashley was going to do something different. Or maybe he’d do the same thing but he had to prep first? Or maybe the pokemon was out to just watch his things? The man had left the case he’d been hauling with the Braixen, though the pokemon didn’t seem all that focused on guarding it. Actually, she semi-wondered what he was hauling around. It kind of looked like an instrument case but well… the guy didn’t really scream ‘musician’ to her.

It took approximately six minutes before Ashley returned and much to Lizzie’s surprise, with an egg in his grasp. He seemed to be studying it curiously, taking in the bright colorings and patterns that decorated the outside of it before coming to a halt a few feet away from here.
He held it up in her direction and with a slight smirk, nodded. "See madam? I told you it would not take me long to locate it." Lizzie gave a frown, not sure how to take that remark. He really didn’t have that smug tone to his voice but well… something about it all just bugged her. Ashley paid it no mind, instead walking over and handing the egg to Bastien.
"Study this Bastien. Ze next one will be your responsibility." The man remarked, retrieving his case and heading back over to his ride. "Shall we get moving to ze next area? I do believe it will be Ambrette Town." He commented, hauling himself up and assisting Bastien to do the same. Lizzie huffed and nodded, pulling herself onto the Charizard and kicking it into action. This was certainly weird, that was for sure.

Heather hummed quietly to herself as both she and Lysander walked down the route that led from Cyllage to Geosenge, in a rather jovial mood. Her brother remained silent, at least until she nudged him and indicated he join her. He sighed heavily, shoulders stiffening, before eventually he gave in. Taking a moment he listened in, trying to figure out just what song Heather was humming, before he began to harmonize with her. His tone much lower than hers, he offered a more even tempo and gave Heather the chance to go up an octave.

Still humming along, the siblings were growing close to finishing when they stepped foot into Geosenge. Immediately Heather stopped, leaving Lysander to finish off the last verse of the song in his baritone. "I don't think this place should be too hard," she estimated, gaze already roaming about the town. "Buuut, just in case!" Throwing two pokeballs out, Heather released both Tina and Cadenza, greeting them both with quick hugs. Umbreon, needing some time to understand just where they were, didn't settle into Lysander's arms until she'd assessed who was around them and their immediate area. Afterwards, once satisfied with her findings, she relaxed into her new trainer's arms while still remaining vigilant. Lysander smiled. "Hey, you didn't tell me that you decided to take that Umbreon in!" Heather accused, stepping into the line of sight of both parties. Umbreon's ear twitched and she sniffed the air around Heather, recognizing her to be the other human from before -- the one who had initially found her, in fact. "Oh, I didn't?" With his arms full he couldn't very well scratch his head, but the semi-sheepish expression he wore was enough to convey his thoughts. "Really? I thought I had. Sorry about that," he apologized, attention turning to Girafarig who was busy interacting with all the new pokemon around her.
"We can talk about this later though, we really oughta get started looking for that egg," Lysander suggested before whistling, calling forth his pokemon to him. Bass took his time, the man noticed, but eventually he had joined the other two in standing in front of the redhead. He'd... address that later. "Alright, we're looking for more eggs, nothing new," he informed, then turned to Amp. "I'm trusting you to show Girafarig what I'm talking about." The Shinx mewled in response, rather surprised at this responsibility. The trainer was rather surprised himself, he'd never thought he'd be giving him anything close related to this.

Once Lysander's pokemon knew their objective he sent them out, turning to Heather afterwards. The man watched her give out, generally, the same command as he before sending them off as well, doing her best to try and direct them to areas that Lysander's pokemon hadn't gone in. "You know, we have to go through another cave to get to the next city," Heather commented randomly, taking steps away from her brother to start a search of her own. Lysander scowled, "there are too many caves in this region." She laughed in response, her sound of merriment petering out the farther she moved away. Deciding to take the path Amp and Girafarig had chosen -- because he was still cautious about allowing the latter to stray too far from his sight -- Lysander hadn't even gotten far when both pokemon came running back, Girafarig whinnying excitedly as Amp ran happily beside him. Before they fully reached him, however, the Shinx managed to trip over the air itself and tumbled, paw over head, the rest of the way to his trainer. Lysander held back from laughing, peering past Umbreon to glance at his other poekmon. "You alright?" he asked cautiously. Amp was up on his paws in a flash, and mewled around an egg. "You're... really good at finding these things," he observed, the surprise in his tone evident. "Uh... good job. Think you can hold onto that a little longer?" Amp nodded his head firmly, pleased with himself.
Gently placing Umbreon onto the ground, Lysander contacted his sister and informed her of Amp's find, both agreeing to meet up at the city's exit after gathering the rest of their pokemon. Afterwards, he took the egg from Amp, absently wiping it free of saliva, and put it away before he picked Umbreon back up. Deciding to keep all three out, all four began to look for Bass before they made their way to the edge of the city. For once, Lysander found himself waiting for Heather and in the few minutes he had to himself he began to contemplate their next course of action, gym wise. They definitely needed to train more, so that meant battling more and trying to find new items. Eventually Heather showed up, Tina by her side and Cadenza in her arms, and together both humans and their pokemon made for Reflection Cave.
