Sable winced a bit when Darren insisted she didn't have to worry about seeing his battle."Yeah, well, I want to, so even if you think it's fine, I don't,"she replied, then cleared her throat a bit and tapped the ground with the toes of one foot."Besides... I... Uh..."Once again, the teen was having a hard time saying what she wanted to, but this time it wasn't simply because she had trouble with implying that she could be vulnerable. She couldn't exactly tell him that one of her biggest concerns was that Honey might start attacking her if she lost control without making Darren panic even more than he might have been, now could she? She wasn't sure which aspect she felt worse about, but all three factors made it so she couldn't really say what was on her mind.
So, when asked about where she planned on doing some training, she decided to jump onto the opportunity to change topics."Oh, I was thinking it'd be best if I were just outside town,"she replied, then smiled sheepishly."Not so far out that I couldn't get back to the pokemon center if things get out of hand, but not so close that too many other people get attracted to what's going on. Still deciding whether that'll be more towards the path up to Mount Moon or the one heading back to the forest, though. Mostly leaning towards the northern end."Sable gave Darren a light smile, then glanced over at Jin when she noticed that the disguised zorua had stopped following them."...Jin? Something up?"
Jin was watching an area down the street a ways when he heard Sable address him."Huh?"He turned and gave the teen a bit of a smile."Maybe, maybe not. Hey, mind if I wander off for a bit to check something out? I'll meet up with you afterwards, promise."The dark type waited a moment as his trainer thought about it."...Alright. I guess we'll meet up... Either at the pokemon center or up around the northern exit. I'll be doing some basic training up there until you arrive,"Sable replied before heading off towards where she intended to do some training. The dark type gave her a thumbs up to show that he understood and went off towards what was bugging him.
After a bit of walking, the dark type spotted what he had been hearing. It seemed some kids were throwing rocks at a trash can that had something - or, from his point of view, someone - stuck inside. It had been at the edge of his range, so he had actually thought he had been hearing things for a moment. Still, seeing that he wasn't imagining things he decided he might as well do something."Hey, come on. Leave the poor thing alone,"he told the kids, which ended up getting him a couple of rocks chucked at him as well. He growled a bit as he held up and arm to keep from getting anything too important hit, but decided it was better to just get whatever was stuck and get out of the situation, so he ignored the kids aside from trying to keep his face from being struck by any stray rocks, grabbed the bundle of fur and what was keeping it stuck without really looking to see what it was, and walking away.
Once away from the now-complaining kids, Jin let out a light sigh."Alright, you're safe now,"he said comfortingly to the whimpering bundle of fur he was holding, then looked at the little thing."Let's see about getting... Huh?"he had noticed that there had been something that he had thought was rubbish stuck on the hefty bundle of fur, but not that he was looking at her he saw a little fox-like creature with a bundle of bamboo strips tied around her neck. The little creature was whimpering while curled up in Jin's grip, trying to hide in her bamboo collar."It hurts..."he could hear the little creature whimper, and upon a little bit of cautious checking, found that one of the small fox's paws had fresh blood on it. Jin frowned a bit, then made his way to the pokemon center.

Um, if Darren gets abducted then Sable will probably be more insisting that medium bring him back. Which will probably end up getting her teleported to where he is. XD At least that'll give her a good chance to actually try using Honey in a battle. o u o b Any particular house you feel like going to? Darren couldn't help but blink in surprise when Sable retorted that she wanted to see his battle, so it wasn't fine to her if she missed it. Darren thought for a moment, opening his mouth to reply, but then shut it again, finding himself at a loss for words. He shifted his hands into his pockets, relaxing a bit and smiling to himself as he kept his gaze to the ground, though when Sable spoke up again, Darren glanced at her curiously as she struggled to say whatever it was she was trying to explain. Eventually they walked in silence, Sable appearing to have decided against saying anything more, so Darren asked where she wanted to train. Sable had plenty to say on that matter, apparently debating between the path up by Mt. Moon and back towards the forest, though she was leaning towards Mt. Moon. "Really? What makes you more inclined north?" Darren inquired curiously, though Sables attention seemed to be on Jin at the moment, drawing Darren's attention to the Zorua as well.
He'd been acting rather peculiar in the forest, and now he was acting oddly again, and when Sable called him out on it, he insisted he was going to check something and meet up afterwards. Darren watched the Zorua curiously as he left, but ultimately figured he would fill them in should the need arise. He kept moving with Sable, eventually following her further and further away from town. He was about to ask if this was a good distance, but as they turned the corner, Darren heard something odd. Was that... Crying? He glanced around and saw a small figure of a girl huddled over on herself, tucked away by the trees. He didn't hesitate to quickly approach the poor girl, wondering what was wrong."Miss...? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Darren asked politely as he moved closer. The girl trembled slightly at his approach. "H-help.... Please help me...!" She whimpered, her face buried in her hands. Darren frowned with concern, kneeling down next to the girl. "What do you need? Just tell me, whatever it is, I'll try to do what I can." He reassured her gently. The girl suddenly stopped sniffling, the change almost instantaneous and eerie. That should have been Darren's first clue, but he was too oblivious to think the crying helpless act was a ruse. "Promise....?" She asked meekly, though there was something odd about her tone. Flynn picked up on it quickly, frowning skeptically, but before he could voice his concern, Darren smiled at the girl and answered. "Of course~" He agreed, having no idea what he was getting himself into.
The girl sat up and grabbed Darren by the wrist. "What a good little boy. Maybe you'll be of use after all~" She cackled shrilly. Wide, sleep deprived eyes pierced through Darren's horrified expression. He had frozen in fear, the Hex Maniac's malevolent demeanor sending chills up his spine, and in an instant, the she had made Darren and Flynn vanish into thin air.

While Jin went to get his new fluffy friend treated, Sable shrugged a bit at Darren's question."Oh, you know. The pokemon up that way are apt to be a bit more challenging than the ones around the forest. I might want to have us get used to one another, but I don't want to insult her by sending her out against opponents she could take out in one hit,"she explained, looking around a bit as she walked. Eventually, they started reaching an area where Sable thought they were far enough out that, one, they wouldn't be bothered by random people, and two, the opponents faced might be a bit stronger than those they had come across already. At least, that's what she thought.
Turned out, the sound of crying nearby proved her wrong on that first part. Near one of the trees in the area was a small girl crying, and Darren wasted no time moving over to her. Sable was a bit slower to approach and hesitated when the girl suddenly stopped crying."Careful..."the teen started to say, but Darren already agreed to help out the girl. That proved to be a bad choice as the girl quickly grabbed at him and started cackling."Darren!"Before the teen could run the short distance between them, though, the male and his charmeleon were teleported away.
Sable stared blankly for a fraction of a second before turning to the girl that was now laughing."You! Where is he!?"she snapped as she rounded on the child, glad that no one was around to see what she would do to the kid if she didn't cooperate with her. The little girl cackled some more before looking up at Sable, obviously not intimidated by the older female."Oh, don't worry, he's safe. For now,"the creepy child replied before cackling again.
The desert trainer was sorely tempted to punch the child, but for now she kept what hold of her temper she could."If I have to ask a third time, you being a kid isn't going to protect you. Where. Is. He,"Sable growled, which made the child howl with laughter."Bold talk for someone that needs others to protect her,"the child replied with a sneer, then gave a wicked grin."I sent him to a place within the Sinnoh region to help out a few... Friends."The girl shrugged a bit as she glanced away."Really, what happens to him will depend on him. If he is strong, then the spirits will be pacified for a time and he will be safe. If he's weak..."The girl trailed off before laughing. She then gave Sable another wicked grin."Of course, if you're really that worried about him... I could send him a little... Help."
Sable paled a bit at the suggestion, mostly because she had a good idea of what form that help would take. The girl laughed once again seeing the teen blanche at the idea of actually going to find him herself."I see. So for all your talk, you're too much of a coward to go help him? Well then, I suppose you-""Shut up and send me already."Sable did not like the idea at all, but she wasn't about to just leave Darren at the mercy of some ghosts.
Jin had just arrived from getting the small fox - which he was informed was called a gekkit - checked out at the pokemon center. Apparently, she had landed on a broken bottle after hopping into a trash can and sliced open her paw and part of her leg. The nurse bandaged it up as best as she could, but then there was a bit of a problem about where the little pokemon would be staying until she recouperated. Normal procedure was for the gekkit to stay with the other injured pokemon until she could be returned to the wild since she was a wild pokemon. Unfortunately... She wasn't planning on staying anywhere without Jin nearby, and Jin wasn't really in a position to hang around the pokemon center. So, after a bit of discussing about his own circumstances and some trying to convince the gekkit, a compromise was reached. That being that he was to be the pokemon's guardian until she was fully recovered, and that meant he'd have to take her with him for a while. So, he had been gearing up to try and parse out an awkward explanation of his situation when he saw Sable suddenly get teleported away.
Now it was Jin's turn to be pissed and he immediately rushed at the child that had waved his trainer into nothingness. The girl smirked at him as he approached and held out a hand as if to wave him off."Seems I've gotten quite lucky. Three willing souls to satiate the spirits of Sinnoh... But you might be a bit less palateable for them,"she said, then chuckled."Well, no reason to delay you, too. Off you go, boy."With that, Jin would find himself and his little passenger teleported away.

Hehehe, what can I say? I can be rather predictable sometimes. XD And okay, those are all good reasons. Gives me a reason to claim that big mushroom I got way back in easter for Jin to eat anyway. ^ _ ^ And Jin officially has the gekkit now... It just needs to be captured. XD

Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Now that he had made it to Pewter City, Alex began to make his way over to the pokemon center. His pokemon didn't need any healing since they were all resting safely in their pokeballs. Eevee on the other hand was still perched on his shoulder, so she hadn't done enough to need any either. Either way, it was where the PC was and would make it easy for Alex to decide what pokemon he should continue the journey with. He wanted to keep his promise to Cresselia and show her how it was like to battle alongside a trainer. There were a lot of thoughts running through his head, but he had arrived at the pokemon center.

William was teleported back to Pewter Pokemon Center. The same place that he got abducted in. William was feeling light-headed due to the move teleport, he wondered whether pokemon who used teleport always felt like this afterward. "If you want to re-challenge, you are free to do so. I will always be here for a week or two more," The channeler told him with what William thought happy tone. There was no way he would voluntary went into that torture house. It had been nerve-wrecking day for him. He really needed to take a break. William mouthed half-hearted reply of "yea, yea," while the channeler started to chatter again. As he left, he saw from the corner of his eyes that another victim had fallen.
The first he went to was healing center, he also asked for a room this time. The process was quick as Nurse Joy handed him his pokeball back, all fully healed. William then proceeded to his room to clean himself, attend to his pokemon and bed. Dream soon claimed him the moment he laid down. He didn't register how hard the bed was or cared who he got roomed with. He simply too exhausted to care.

William woke up with a start, his heart beating fast and his breathing ragged. Leftover images of the ghost from his nightmare was starting to fade when he noticed his surrounding. Right, he's in the pokemon center now, not in a haunted house. He saw there were other people who room with him, people he didn't recognize. Beside him, Mur was curled, sleeping. William had started to calm down once he realized it was a dream, though he couldn't sleep any longer. The clock told him it was nearly 6 AM anyway, so he rather got early start. Maybe a morning walk would help clear his mind off too.
"Espaaa?" Mur yawned and rubbed his eyes. "Nightmare?"He said again using his mind, while stretching. Mur knew that Will didn't usually woke up early and considering the event yesterday, nightmare was definite. "Yeah, I am thinking of taking a walk. Want to come?" William confirmed and asked the espurr to come along. He didn't find the idea of leaving his belonging or pokemon in a room with strangers. He rather took his belongings with him and knew they won't get stolen or lost. He packed his backpack, tidying the content that had gotten into a mess with his hurried way of retrieving item. Beside his bag was small jar that Snow had given him. He would make a call later to send some home to be planted, for not he tried to fit it inside his bag.
"sure,"Mur answered him while yawning again. "if you carry me,"he continued. William nodded, "get on then," he told the espurr to climb his backpack, before he left the room. The corridor was quite with dim lighting, there's few people when he arrived in the lobby, so he wasn't alone. William went to the counter to returned his room key, then went to get a breakfast, only after all taken care did he exited the pokemon center.

The sun had started to rise when William exited pokemon center. The air was still quite chilly. William recalled that Pewter was the last town before Mt.Moon, its high altitude meant the temperature became colder in the morning and night. Mur had taken to snuggle closer to him, he had fur that kept him warm still, better than how William fare. He walked faster, hoping movement would keep the cold away. There were no destination in mind, he simply walked where his whim take him too.
" Are you going to retake the challenge?" Mur broke the silence with question. There's high possibility that William won't, but Mur still asked anyway. " No, thinking about it sent shiver already," William answer quickly. He thought it odd that Mur would ask what was obvious. "Why?" he asked back. " I - " Mur started and seemed to be in thought before continuing, "We wanted to try it again," Mur expressed his desire. " We almost won, we just lacked training and move that worked on them," Mur said with determination. " It doesn't have to be haunted house then. There's other way," William argued. "no, it has be there, since it's there where we lost," Mur insisted, " ask the other too, they will tell you that," Mur jumped down and motioned for William to release his other pokemon.
William gave him a wry smile. He really did not like where this was going. Mur was watching him, waiting for his choice. So far, William made no move to release his pokemon to ask them what they wanted. He likely was aware that it won't go to his favor when he did, yet not doing so meant he conceded he wasn't willing to listen to them. What was a trainer to do then . . . William sighed long and he really meant it when he finally released his pokemon, sans the feebas.
Mur greeted them and filled them in on their discussion. All eyes turned to him in expectation. "I don't want to do this," William said bluntly. It was his honest feeling. "bulba bulba?" ; "Piika pika chu," < why not? > Mur helped by translating for William. When he received the content, William was troubled of how he should answer. He had expected this. " Yes, ghost is one of the dangerous type of pokemon. They are known to kill or lead human astray and are not shy to harm," William slowly said. It clicked then from how William acted he was uncomfortable and he was trying to skip something, one the pokemon could sense. "saur bulbasaur " "piika!? pikachu pika?," < really? is trainer's weakness ghost type? > Mur already knew the answer, so he stayed silent, waiting for what will William do.
William took a deep breathe, he also paced back and forth. He tried to say, but hesitated. Could he admit it? He sure had never been very good at hiding it. Most of his friend knew from how he reacted to paranormal situation whether real or mere semblance. His pokemon already had full dose of him screaming and being unreliable. He never had anything to lose since the beginning. "It's more of what they are capable of and the fact they find amusement in scaring people," William finally admitted. "It's not the pokemon I am scared of, it's when they started to target people and haunted house in general," William said further to clear up misunderstanding that people often thought that he was scared of ghost pokemon. He won't back off whenever he faced a ghost type, rather he would eliminate the threat by defeating them. It placed his mind in peace if he could.
"pikachu pii pika!" Amber gleefully said. "bulba saur bulba bulbasaur," < haunted house is a good place to train for trainer, > Jasper agreed. Both had the same mind set that since people trained pokemon to be able to deal when fighting their weakness, then it should work the same way for human. They should be subjected to what they are no good with and they will improve!
William felt their role had became reversed from the way they said it. Did he had any dignity left as a trainer when his pokemon was discussing how to make him go over his weakness? William sighed again, he did it a lot today. He couldn't back out at this point or he would lose the respect he had from his pokemon nor would he be able to properly train them. "Alright, alright, you guys win," William resigned himself to what will come. " you guys will train first and prepare for the challenge," it was decided. His pokemon cheered when they heard him.

Alex had a plan in mind as he opened the door to the pokemon center and stepped inside. At the moment, it appeared that his pokemon weren't in need of healing, esspecially his ace pokemon he was planning on using for the gym battle. Now, it was just a matter of adjusting the rest of his team's pokemon for the future of his travels in Kanto. Alex moved over to one of the couched and removed his backpack before setting it down on the cushion. Eevee, as usual had made her way down off of his shoulder and looked on from nearby. She was curious as to what her trainer was planning, but the recent pokemon he caught would probably make the cut. The water pokemon trainer opened his backpack and looked toward the seven pokeballs inside. This was going to be a simple change out. He grabbed the pokeball that had just been added to his collection recently. "The only way you'll understand, is from first hand experience." Alex spoke to the pokeball and replaced it with another from his belt. "I'll still need your help, Slowking. You can take a break from battles like Eevee." To anyone else, talking to pokeballs would seem odd, but this was Alex's way, and it's not like he was too worried about what others thought. He placed Slowking's pokeball into his backpack and zipped it back up. Alex stood back up and put his bag on, before Eevee climbed back up to her perch on his shoulder. "Lets go win that badge." Alex said with a slight grin before he headed for the doors of the pokemon center again, in search of the gym.

William walked to the outskirt of pewter city. It didn't take them long before they encounter their first opponent. A small, rabbit like creature. William scanned it, "Nidoran♀. It has barbs that secrete a powerful poison. They are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon. When enraged, it releases a horrible toxin from its horn." He found out its a female nidoran and a poison type, so he called for Jasper. "let's test leech seed first," William instructed. Jasper shot a seed that bound nidoran. The pokemon growled menacingly in response, making Jasper falter. "Jasper, tackle," William said, Jasper charged and tackled the nidoran who couldn't move. Its binding got loose when Jasper did though, it still clung, but no longer binding. Nidoran ran and used scratch on jasper which Jasper answered back with a vine whip, it's not very effective, but enough to end the battle. "Good job, Jasper," William praised him as he healed his wound.
Amber came to William to pester him she wanted to battle to and so was Mur. William thought for a moment. It's unrealistic that he would be able to finish training them within a day. "How about you split up and find pokemon to battle. As long as you guys didn't stray too long it will be fine," William suggested. He won't need to have to order them all the time. His pokemon was capable of battling on their own.

His pokemon scattered, leaving William with Amber. He had made the pikachu to stayed with him since she was new and he wanted to further get used to battling with her. He let Amber to pick where to go and merely followed behind her. The pikachu's ears twitched, trying to sense noises and she started to walk on all four. They found a jigglypuff. William took the chance to scan it when Amber thundershock it. "Jigglypuff, a Balloon Pokémon. It has large friendly eyes and it sings a pleasant song. Nothing can avoid falling asleep hearing a Jigglypuff's song. The sound waves of its singing voice match the brain waves of someone in a deep sleep," his pokedex informed him. A pokemon that specialize in putting opponent to sleep was bad, any status move are. He didn't have to worry though as the battle was quick as jigglypuff got paralyzed, allowing Amber to finish it.

Mur quietly moved through the terrain, he tried to hide himself as much as possible from his prey. A pidgey he spotted landing not far from his location. It was pecking the ground for food and did not notice Mur stalking it until Mur dashed and scratched it. Pidgey was so surprised it attempted to fly, not before, sending sand everywhere to obscure itself. "Espaa!" Mur got sand in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes furiously. He couldn't see properly. oh,no, how would he attack then? Mur didn't have William with him that could advise him of what to do. He tried to sense the pidgey with his ears or smell instead, then his sense caught on pidgey, when he willed it, the energy became denser and he could shoot it toward Pidgey. He was treated to a sight of unconscious pidgey when he washed all the sand off his eyes. Was that perhaps a confusion move? Mur wondered. When he checked the pidgey, a shiny item was nearby. It was the item that the pidgey pecked before he attacked. Mur decided to take it and show it to Will.

Jasper went a little far. He didn't manage to find opponent yet, instead, he found a berry tree. Jasper saw the ripe oran berry that hung on the tree, he immediately thought of taking some back to his trainer. The bulbasaur had taken only a few steps closer when a mankey shrieked out warning. The mankey staked his claim on the tree and won't let any pokemon came near it. Jasper narrowed his eyes at mankey's apparent intimidation. berry trees are suppose to be shared between pokemon, especially when they are very valuable for injured wild pokemon. "Bulba bulba saur," Jasper cried out in annoyance. This caused the mankey to take a step further when it saw the bulbasaur didn't show any sign of fear or backing out. "Mank Mankey keeey keey!" it plucked un-ripe oran berry and started throwing them at Jasper.
Jasper widened his eyes, he was late to dodge. The berry was still hard, so it was really hurt when it hit his head. "Bulbasaur bulba!," Jasper attempted to dodge and swipe away the berry with his vine whip. He had enough of the mankey that was mocking at him on top of monopolizing the tree. He dodged to the side, then whipped his vine to dislodge the mankey from the tree. It fell, but soon got up while screaming louder, hopping from one paw to the other. Jasper didn't wait for the mankey to finish, he attempted to whip the mankey again, but it deftly dodged and ran toward him. His vine required time to retract and mankey already went into range for scratch. It knew to scratch the face. Jasper backed away from the scratch, but it kept on coming. Jasper endured the pain, before he gathered strength to tackle the mankey's stomach, sending it flying back. The mankey scrambled back up, but when it saw that Jasper was still standing strong it decided it's not worth it to fight anymore.
Jasper was satisfied he was able to chase off the mankey. He could now approached his prize, the oran tree. Most of the tree was damaged by Mankey's rough picking, plus it wasted the un-ripe berry by throwing it at him. Thankkfully, few oran still remained. Jasper picked about 3 of them and left a few still for pokemon that would need it. He carried the berries carefully using his vine as he trotted back to his trainer.

William waited in the middle of the route. They had gone a bit far from Pewter, he thought it was time to call for his pokemon. "Amber, use thundershock to the air," he said and soon, a lightning streaked through the sky. It was pretty weak as Amber hadn't learned thundershock's stronger version, thunderbolt yet. "now we wait," William said and found himself a rock to sit on. Jasper came first, he was quite scratched up, on his vines were oran berries. William smiled when he saw the berries. "wow, where did you find them? This really helpful,Jasper. You are a great help!" he praised the bulbasaur, "we will need them for the haunted house."
Another came Mur who was dirty with dust. Other than that he wasn't wounded. "I found something too!" Mur chimed in, not wanting to lose. "Oh, let me see," William crouched and stretched his hand to get a good look at the tiny item Mur gave him. "This is -- ! " William recognized the item. " yeah, since you found it, do you want to use it? " William offered. Mur shook his head, "I quite like my current." He was content at the moment and since it would be random, he wouldn't know if he would learn a better move anyway.
"alright then. Mind if I give it to Agate then? she couldn't learn move normally until she evolved," William asked for permission, since it was Mur who found it after all. Mur nodded as it made sense Agate would be the one who got to use it. She couldn't even join them in training. The heartscale would be a good way to give her much needed boost.

William waited in the middle of the route. They had gone a bit far from Pewter, William returned to Pokecenter. The aircon inside refreshed him after hours outdoor. His shirt was wet with sweat already that he thought of taking a shower. He joined the queque at the counter first to heal his pokemon which he returned inside their pokeball. It took awhile for his turn, though he didn't mind as he got to think of his plan with the berries. William went immediately to call home after his pokemon was fully healed. The family butler was the one who answered him as usual, so he told him what he wanted and sent 1x lansat, custap, starf, and 2x oran berries to be planted. Then explicitly told the butler to notify him if they bore fruit.
Next, William borrowed the center's bathroom for a shower. He also had to wipe Mur with wet clothes to get all the dirt off and brushed him. It resulted in Jasper and Amber asking for a brushing too. Jasper didn't have fur to be brushed though, so he had to settled with wiping. Afterward, he released Agate in the basin. He talked to her about the heartscale and used it on her. Her new move, Brine, doused them all with water. William had to dry himself and his pokemon.
It was after all necessity taken care off that they went to find the creepy lady. She was by the poster in the corridor as usual. She spotted him before he could call out to her. Her stall looked empty of people as usual, though it could be because they teleported anyone who showed interest. "uuh . . . hello," William greeted back. "I can see it in your eyes, you are here for a re-challenge, aren't you?" the creepy lady grasped his hand, her face was so close, William felt like running away. " . . . y . . . yeah . . . " William said, devoid of emotion, he was regretting it already. "Great, then off we go!" the creepy lady teleported them as soon as he said so.

Alex walked through the streets of Pewter City, in search of the gym. He used the map function on his Pokegear to make sure that he didn't miss the place. It wouldn't be long now, before he was testing his starter pokemon's power against another gym leader. Perhaps it felt a little unfair to use Blastoise, but this fight would mostly be a way to show Cresselia how it was done. The teamwork between him and his first pokemon had been proven to be top notch. This would be the perfect way to help the psychic legendary understand the bond they'd need to battle. Obviously it wasn't a quick fix, but Alex figured it was the best way, instead of just battling right away with Cresselia. After a few more turns down multiple streets, Alex finally found himself standing in front of the gym. His eyes turned toward Eevee, before grinning as he was happy to have made it to the first gym in Kanto. "Probably should have started here, but then I'd never have met you. Time to finally start my adventure in Kanto." Eevee just sighed and shook her head, sure they wouldn't have met if he started in Kanto, but that sentimental stuff didn't matter to her."
