Masa has been reading a book on how to use the Force for physical transformations, because she's sick of being a regular human. It would be super cool to shapeshift, that would confuse her enemies even more and give her new abilities. She's already a criminal, why not be double plus ultra?
She needs to stop trying to transform into a merMAYd and focus more on escaping the imperial scum who just stole a bunch of cargo. at least wookie prince harry likes her, unfortunately he also ate through half a ton of the goods he gave her.

Oh boy, super mood swingy so far. Just like her mother May. And they'll probably have a mood swingy mother's day too, where Masa gives her a gift almost as lame as the ones her parents give her every year. Still, it's better than Dave whose parents were gunned down for owing money to sleazy drug dealers because they didn't want their toddler to starve but his mom tragically never recovered after having him and was stuck in the vicious cycle of morphine addiction. Super fun happy villain origin stories. That's why May Hemm, murder aka Dave, and Masa absolutely refuse to touch addicting substances (besides infrequent caffeine, that's just inevitable during those extra PMS mood swings.) So what if those a-holes take away all her spice? Scumbags dirty enough to steal from her, even though she's also a thief, at least aren't mostly innocent moms with chronic pain and postpartum depression.
So that donation she made? it was everything but the Spice she just found. but those Jawas could gladly take some of it. Scratch that, Masa realizes she WON that bet at the Cantina, didn't lose it. 11, 12, they kinda look the same when she's tipsy
