"Watch carefully. Cutting out pieces of DNA from a person can be dangerous, as it could cause permanent damage." He pulled out a pen with a very sharp tip. The tip seemed to vanish into nothing. "This is a very sharp tool. It'll be used through this whole procedure."
Ruen pulled the tray of green liquid over to him carefully. "See there? That's what we need to reset. We aren't going to cut it out, otherwise we might do something we don't want. Like if she were a normal person, we could accidentally speed up or stunt her growth, which it seems her growth has been blocked, too. Would you want me to unblock that?"

Ruen nodded and picked up the pen. "this may look strange but don't worry, it won't hurt her."
He set his free hand on her arm and pushed the pen into her skin. As soon as it was in all the way, Ruen clicked the backside of the pen and let it unfold and wrap around X's arm. "I'll let you have one of these when we're done. Who knows when you'll need it. Now, the DNA Pen will start and bring up her overall DNA code. We have a lot to work on. Hand me a scalpel, please?"

"Same here. This procedure is still new so, it's a good thing it works so far." Ruen put the scalpel to the screen and sliced across the screen. A strand of DNA appeared on the screen. "You can use your finger but it's easier to use a scalpel. Now, it should highlight the place we need to change, there we go."
A part of the screen showed up green. Ruen put the scalpel on it and tapped, bringing the rung's code up closer. It was in a language that no one but Ruen really understood. "Hmm... This is not any known language that you would know. I'd advise you to take some time to learn Anokian. Now, what it is listing off are the specific things this rung controls, such as how easy she is to control and how subjectable she is to hypnosis. We're just going to turn this up to seventy-five percent strength so no one can break into her head and try to make her a puppet. Meanwhile, let's look at this one. This one, it seems can cause her all sorts of trouble. It looks like... some sort of distortion in her genetic code..."

"Right, I'll bypass that and work around it." He replied.

An hour of tedious reprogramming passed and Ruen finally pulled off the rubber gloves after pulling out the pen. He sighed. "Well, we'll see how she differs when she wakes up. I'm surprised she was able to sleep through that."

He grinned. "Well, if my Anokian isn't rusty, she might be able to control the nobody mode more easily."
Jaecen walked back in the room and straight to X's side. "She'll wake up, right?"
"Yes, she should wake up any minute." Ruen cast a spell on the room and returned everything except for the table into a small condensed cube. He picked up the cube and put it in his pocket.

Ruen crossed his arms and pointed to X. "There, see?"
Jaecen let X recover more before he spoke to her. "How do you feel, kiddo?"
