"Present, yo!" Toren said as he jumped up from in the middle of some really tall grass, just his head popping up as he jumped. Seconds later he would come running out of the grass, panting heavily as he made it back to Keiko. "Sorry, I ran as fast as I could, both ways. Lady was happy. So! Where is the battle going down, yo!?" He asked, Pokeball in hand.

Odd and Lykas breathed a mutual sigh of relief when Odd's Ultra Ball clicked shut.
"That-" "-Was close."
The boys said, together. Odd Walked over to where the now-still ball lay waiting for him and picked it up, the vile cloud of energy that had been exuded by Lickilicky still palpable even from within the device. "These things are never going to be gone again..." He said to himself, the realization that Shadow Pokemon would now and forever, be a problem.
"Maybe so. And the only person we have to blame is Ein. That psychopath deserves nothing less than absolute destruction for loosing this plague on the world." Lykas assured his partner, holding up the Ultra Ball containing his own Shadow Pokemon.
"We should find Keiko and Toren. The threat seems to be over for now." Odd replied, nodding in agreement with Lykas.
"Battle?" Keiko asked, suddenly filled with reasonable apprehension. "Do you mean the Shadow Pokemon? Because I'm pretty sure the boys caught it already. I just wanted to make sure the lady got her Pokemon back so we can thank Odd and Lykas and continue our journey."

"Of course the Shadow Poke- oh, really cuz? That harshes my buzz, I was all lit for a battle too." Toren said with a sigh, though his depressed state quickly vanished upon seeing Lykas and Odd. "Hey bros! Over here!" He said, waving excitedly.
"You were... looking forward to a fight... against a Pokemon that can infect your friends with a disease?" Keiko asked, not quite getting what there was to get excited about something like that. "To each, their own, I guess..."
Keiko would wave at Lykas and Odd, but instead of calling them over, she would just smile as she waved, happy that they were alright.

Once the Snagems had come together and Keiko and Toren saw Odd and Lykas off they would then set off back on their journey to Lilycove City. Most of the way forward was pretty uneventful as they made sure to stay on the path. Seeing signs telling them how close Lilycove City was Toren began to walk faster and faster. Eventually they arrive in front of the Hoenn Safari Zone, the sounds of many rare wild Pokemon could be heard from the gates.
"Huh, I've never done a Safari Zone before, have you, cuz?" He asked Keiko as he stared at the building.
"I've done a couple, actually," Keiko spoke up, smiling for the first time in a while. "Though they were all Snagem-sponsored events. I've never done an official one before."
As she gazed upon the entrance to the Safari Zone, her hand grazed the Snag Ball containing Castform, and a realization dawned on her. She took the ball from her belt and held it up. "Oh... I should probably get rid of this ball and let Castform go free..."

"Huh? Why you want to let Castform go, yo?" Toren asked, completely puzzled as to why she would release the Pokemon. Sometimes he got lost mentally.
"You don't remember? Castform was supposed to travel with me to Lilycove so it could show me something. I wasn't supposed to capture it in the first place. The only reason I did was to prevent it from getting infected with the Shadow Virus. When I go back to that place and give Castform back to its original trainer..." Keiko trailed off, dreading that meeting.
She passively let Castform out of its ball, and it immediately flew a lap around her head, nuzzling against her cheek endearingly when it noticed the look of dread on her face. "Aww," Keiko responded, giving Castform a light hug for cheering her up, to which it would respond by sticking its tongue out at Toren, who noticed at that moment. "I mean, that's gonna be a while. After I visit Terashi. But... I just have to hope Castform's trainer will accept my apology."

"I still don't see why you have to let it go, yo." Toren said, arms folded and a bewildered look on his face. "You're a Snagem, if you want it, take it. I mean, you and it seem pretty tight anyways, cuz, so it's not like you be hurtin' no one no how." He shrugged. When the Castform stuck its tongue out at him the man couldn't help but mimic the gesture back at it. "On second thought that thing is wack."
Keiko sighed at Toren's logic, which seemed to be shared by too many of her teammates. "Toren, being a member of a group known for taking things from people doesn't magically make stealing a good thing to do. Castform's trainer trusted me to take good care of Castform for him, and even though I had a good reason to do it, I repaid his trust by stealing from him."
Keiko stopped talking, only to cuddle with Castform some more. "I do like this Castform, and I know it likes me. But as much as Castform is happy to be around me, I'm sure its trainer is missing it even more."

Toren would let out a sigh and just throw his hands up in the air in response to Keiko, resigning to her argument. "Fine fine, whatever you say. Come on, cuz, Lilycove is just ahead. Once we get there Castform can get to its trainer, I can catch my ship, and you can finally set sail to see your boy. We'll all live happily ever after, I guess." The man stated as he began to walk off.
Keiko looked worried as Toren walked away. Had she hurt his feelings somehow? Did she say something wrong? Despite being quite concerned, she kept her questions to herself and quietly followed Toren into the city.

The pair would make it to Lilycove City just fine. After all they had been through it was like a weight was lifted off of both of them as they made it to the 'fabled' city. Wasting no time Toren made a rush for (more like a jog) the Pokemon Center. Not only did he want to get his mons checked out to see if they had been infected (despite not actually fighting the Shadow Pokemon) he also wanted to sit down in an air conditioned space for awhile. Hoenn was such a humid and muggy region, nothing like his homeland of Sinnoh.
Once Toren was done submitting his Pokemon to the nurse, Keiko would do the same for her Pokemon, including Castform. Afterward, she took a seat at a nearby bench, which she was sure Toren was doing for all the sweating he was doing. "We could go check out that Safari Zone if you want to," Keiko offered. She tried to sound sweet, but she was nervous. She was basically trying to extend an olive branch - she didn't know if she hurt Toren's feelings or not and she didn't want him being mad at her.
